Residence Inn by Marriott Dallas DFW Airport South/Irving

I’m here for a few days and it’s an absolutely perfect spot for people who are airline training related activities. They have a free shuttle that takes you anywhere within 5 miles. Great rooms and an amazing staff. Chris the front desk agent was extremely patient and kind when dealing with our reservation. I’m kinda high maintenance and he and Erik did their best to accommodated me. That being said, be nice & tip the van driver. Request “sweet Caroline” if Adriana is driving you 😁

(Five-night stay) Excellent:

Suggestions for management:
• Housekeeping every other day? Why? I am charged every day. The property should clean my room every day without having to make a request at the desk. Return to providing value to guests by cleaning rooms each day
• Get rid of all bibles in rooms. Have enough respect for every faith tradition to stop favoring Xtian terrorists over others
• Consider revising the way dry cleaning is handled. I had to go searching at the front desk and my order was handed to me with a number of garments not mine. My (correct) items should have delivered to my room (without anyone else’ items)
• Consider offering plasticware – spoons at least --- at the breakfast buffet, so one has a spoon for a take away container of yogurt
• No arrival gift or even a bottle of water? Lifetime Titanium Elite!
• Closed fitness center without any notice. Failed to put a sign on the door that the gym next door at Courtyard was available. That would have been very helpful information

All the employees are really nice, breakfast staff have always asked me toward the end of breakfast if there was anything they could get me, or if I enjoyed the breakfast.

Front desk always greeted me walking in, room was clean, everything works and it’s maintained. Pool is a bit on the hot side, but it’s not dirty.

Complimentary grocery service was nice.

Kitchen stove is a bit weak - takes awhile to cook things. Also it’s installed backwards…

Highway next to the building can be noisy, some heavier trucks can actually shake the building. Doesn’t bother me personally. White noise from the HVAC blocks it out. Climate control goes down to 65, and it will maintain that. Air filter isn’t overdue, no evidence of mold, or bugs, or lack of attention. Overall pretty solid place. Glad my airline chose this one.

I - like many others here, are staying for the training at the various flight centers around. I’ve been here for a week, and so far everything has been fine.

We stayed for over a week and we had everything we needed. Kitchen was stocked and the room and bathroom were very clean. Bed was comfortable and tv was very easy to use. Staff were super nice and friendly and they had a good spread for breakfast. They offer a shuttle service to and from the airport as well. Make sure to get a room on the front side so you don’t hear the freeway traffic.

I had one bedroom and one small area for sitting, and small kitchen. I stayed for 35 days while my kitchen was being repaired. I had a 11 year old with me. Not really much for him to do there. I also had a fold out love seat. Was not real comfortable long term. Breakfast was great. Staff was very helpful. Housekeepers were great.

Our 10:30 pm flight was cancelled and rebooked for the next day. Stayed at Residence Inn DFW. Andrea was working the front desk and was juggling a lot of people with cancelled flights. She was great. Room was great also. Clean and well laid out. Will highly recommend this place in the future.

While staying at this for over a month while working in DFW the staff there was real helpful, friendly and professional. The breakfast staff was awesome being led by Jody Hathcock. The night crew was very friendly Andrea and Audrey were very friendly and helpful this was the best hotel stay I have ever had would stay there again

Every time our MCA club goes there for our annual meetings you are always welcome with a smiling face. The lady who is in charge of the kitchen always comes out to greet us and welcomes is back. They all do a great job.

My family and I always stay at the hotel when we come to Arlington. The service is excellent and the breakfast is fantastic!

This was the best extended stay I've ever had! My room was spacious and clean, the kitchen amenities all worked, and the location was ideal for my work commute to DFW.

The room was very nice and spacious with more than enough of everything I needed to stay for a night due to a missed connecting flight. Shower had great water pressure, complimentary breakfast was delicious and the shuttle was on time. The bed was a little firmer than I like but that's just me. Service at the desk was friendly and informative. I would stay there again.

Had a wonderful stay. My 2 small children and I were stuck overnight, so we ended up here last minute. They had a pack n play, and a shuttle picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. Their morning breakfast burritos with chorizo were ferocious. Judy and team made our stay as amazing as it could be without having much for ourselves. Rooms were spacious and had a pullout couch, very clean and even the kitchen had all the cookware and utensils for 4 people.

Great customer service and front staff. Rooms were clean and had great features from the kitchenette setup to motion detector night light for the bathroom. Free breakfast starting at 6:30am too! Would stay there again. Quiet hotel and even has a sister property next door.

First off I typically don't get to stay in fancy hotels, so this was pretty darn fancy to me & my first time in a fancy hotel! So my friend and I missed our flight at Dallas (not our fault) and of course we looked for a hotel that had a free shuttle bus and free breakfast. I called the hotel and the shuttle bus picked us up only like 15 min later, it was pretty rad. I took a nap at the hotel & I woke up itching like crazy. My friend notices I had hives all over my body! From the looks of it I possibly had an allergic reaction to their detergent. I went down to the front desk, trying not to cry because I'm a big baby, & finally the sweetest manager lady, (so sorry didn't get her name), came out of the back and gave me some benadryl, and I asked them what we should do. & without hesitation she went out & bought me new sheets & pillow cases and then brought them up to our room. She did a lot for me that evening because I didn't know what I was going to do. I thanked her so much she probably got sick of it. But I'd like to also publicly thank her because even the simplest things means the most to me. God bless her soul! Then the breakfast was amazing! There was soo many choices, it was very difficult to pick just one! & the breakfast lady was very sweet & kind!

The setup of the room was really nice, and spacious. We had a queen bed, sitting area, dining table for two, and a kitchenette. Housekeeping was good. Breakfast was great. Staff were very nice and friendly. No complaints! I would definitely stay there again....Currently undergoing a renovation, so we had to walk outside to get to breakfast vs walking through the hotel.

I have a new favorite hotel! I didn't want to leave! We got in late, and had to fly out super early so we literally just had time to sleep but this is the perfect place to get away! It was like having your own apartment! I love the bedroom privacy and the kitchenette setup. I slept wonderfully and the staff was amazing. We ended up having a mixup on our coming home reservation, and they were able to resolve it in SECONDS, with no issues. Amazing customer service, wonderful stay. From now on, I will be staying in Residence Inn when I travel if I have the option!

Beautiful hotel. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. It had a small furnished kitchenette with a stove, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. Nice size desk and comfortable bed. The is also a small sofa. Drawbacks: no on-site restaurant and no restaurant within walking distance. There is a pool and gym.

I stayed in this hotel almost 3 months I had a great experience during my stay, the service was exceptional! from the management all the way to cleaning service. This hotel made me feel I never left my own home. The staff was very professional and polite!. I recommended this hotel to anyone that want to come to clean room every day and want feel like never left own home. I thank you and appreciate Residence Inn for creating this kind of environment! please recognize these employees for their hard work to make the service great! Thank you!

This was a great stay for my family and I. The shuttle driver guy Raymond was very cool & funny. He knows his way around. Ms. Nancy was so sweet and accommodating. They were on it. It is located in a nice safe area.

One of the nicest Residence Inns I have stayed at (I travel a lot for work). The room was very nice, I couldn't hear noise from other rooms. the maid service was excellent. Common spaces where clean and well maintained. The breakfast was one of the better that I have experienced offered free to all by Marriott. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.
