Veterans Park

Great place to walk, run, sit, or disc golf! We played the latter. Great 18 holes wish they had better signage from hole to hole. Walked over 3 miles total with elevation change. It is soft ground after the rain but playable. No benches at the holes to sit and for the most part it is cart friendly. The park has playgrounds and great history for all to read and remember.

What a beautiful park and a wonderful memorial. The trails are well maintained, the ducks and turtles are adorable, the memorials are very informative and I love the variety of flags that are flown.

Superb park. Little busy on weekends but very nice. We did pray for the national here and was fabulous.

My dog Sophie and I always love going to Veterans Park they have great trails and walkways and always will maintain by the city.

The name and the statues make this park awesome. There is a great playground for the kids/ grandkids. The pond has a ton of turtles and most of the times they have beautiful ducks and geese. There are also some great trails along with alot of people playing disc golf. And sometimes there are beautiful kites flying around. All around great park.......great time for family.

2 new sections were opened today and dedicated in honor of Veterans Day. The Korean War section and a Memorial statue with all the names from the City who died in the line of duty. Amazing job by the City of Arlington to set aside these 105 acres to commemoratrate all our great Veterans who died so we maybe free today. Salute!!

Very beautiful park. It has its own small trail that you can navigate. There is some construction going on, but still enjoyable.

We love the garden paths there. It's a great place to see native flowers and their pollinators. Very peaceful! All around great park!

Love this place, the flowers, the birds, the walking trails. My dogs love to walk at this park. The restrooms are clean. Great place to exercise and enjoy nature.

My #1 go to walk and workout spot. Huge and long winding trails, so much scenery and we also like riding our 4 wheelers on the trails. Playground is nice, shade is amazing. Picnic area has CLEAN bathrooms and it's so many trails and activities to do here. Nice, big and really chill.

This is a beautiful park that is carefully maintained and invites friends and family to come and enjoy the Arlington outdoors. Additionally, the Field of Honor is a must-see installation for the 9-11Remembrance and several other events in U.S./Texas military history. Kudos to the Foundation that ensures this treasure remains in such great shape. Bring your walking shoes, your water, and your pet, and get ready to get those steps in as you take in rich history along the way! My own family servicemen are honored in Field D, Row R.

This park is perfect for a quiet walk through the woods or on a paved path! The flower gardens are pretty year round, especially when the butterflies come for a fill up of nectar! The perfect place for a picnic or quiet time with your dog or a good book!

Veterans Park is a great place to walk, play Disc Golf there's Wildlife trails and Botanical garden as well

Beautiful park!! It's been a minute since I have been to Veterans park. Sad to see the first plant ruined by writing. The rest of the park was gorgeous.

Best park in the area. Great trails, Texas friendly wild life, good park and great place to just explore. Highly recommend Vets Park!

Been living in Arlington for many years, always drove by this park but never stopped. And lots of hidden gems (painted rocks) Now i can't wait to go back. What a beautiful park!

We love this park. It has nice trails. All the time something is blooming. It has great kids playground.

We love this park. It's such a beautiful place to frisbee with some friends, picnic, playground, or just sit on a bench and take a deep breath of fresh air. It's so well maintained. It's truly amazing when people take their civic duties seriously and maintain their local parks. I hope y'all enjoy it as much as we do!

Quite except for a casual dig Walker or duck. ducks real friendly can pet the white one if you feed her. Great fishing in that pond during spring and summer up to 6 pounders. Has large mouth base lots of perch and crappie and sometimes carps. Each out for the turtles up to 50 pound snapping turtles in pond and red eyes they will take your line and snap it even if you get them on shore. a real solemn place on holidays great for friesby no golf and long walks.
