After our first visit I immediately knew this was our new vet! The staff was incredibly kind, thorough and transparent when it comes to pricing. Never during our visit did I feel like they were leveraging the love of my dog against how much they could charge. They worked with my budget and my dog and I both felt comfortable. Every vet I've been to prior to Compassion had garnered anxiety and reluctance on my German Shepherds part, but not this vet! She was actually excited and willing to enter the facility with no hesitating. During exams each tech and the vet work really hard to establish report with the animals and make them feel at ease. It's very very evident that don't want you in and out asap, they take their time to diagnose and treat. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Do yourself a favor and bring your pets here! Dr. H and the staff are tip top.

My baby girl Brittany broke her leg very bad two weeks ago. I took her to an emergency vet in Austin and they tried to reset her leg and bandage it. I was heartbroken as I just had lost my pet in December and here, I was again with my new puppy. I had the option of amputation or surgery, and prices in Austin are very high for pet costs. I called David from Gabriel Mills Brittany Spaniels, and he recommended Compassion Veterinary Hospital. When walking into this establishment immediately I knew I came to the right place. I grew up in central Texas and I felt the compassion this place had for their fur-patients. Dr. Haveman, Angel, Jess, Tyler and Nicole have provided excellent care to my puppy! They have been upfront, honest, and their prices are fair and affordable. I live in Manor Texas, but it is so worth the drive to Jarrell to get this care that was so desperately needed. I highly recommend Compassion Veterinary Hospital for the care of your pet!

Dr. Havann is phenomenal!!! Compassion has given the best treatment for my Senior Boxer. The whole team has been above the call of duty. I was referred to Compassion by a friend and I definitely recommend them!!!

This is the first time I bring my pet to this clinic. My dog was really comfortable with all the staff. He was really happy to be there. The thing I like the most is that they did all the check up in front of me and they gave him his vaccines in front of me as well. That way he can see me and stay calm. The price is way better than the other vet clinic I use to take him. And I am so happy that the clinic is close to my house, 8 minute drive. The Vet is really nice and explained everything to me about my dog, about what he needs, his health. My dog and I are happy that we found this vet clinic.

Dr. Havemann, Angel, Jess, Tyler, Lindsey and Nicole are absolutely wonderful. My 3yo lab was terrified to go to the vet at the previous clinic. He would hide from the staff as soon as they walked in the exam room. Now he actually likes to go. He loves them as much as I do. The attention they give him is unbelievable and they love on him like he is their own. We have never experienced anything like this before. It’s very heart warming to say the least after everything he has been through.

We started with Compassion Vetinary about a month ago under horrible circumstances. Our corgi was very ill and had to be sent over the rainbow Bridge. Although it was a hard time for us the staff made it easier. They were very understanding and helpful. We now have a Bassett Hound named Jed. They all love him as much as we do. Thank you for being there for us.

Our experience with the team has been nothing short of wonderful! They actually listened to me and to my baby, Thunder Muffin.
We spent months of repeat trips to a previous vet, not being listened to, being prescribed antidepressants as the solution to Muffin's continued distress, and being made to feel like we were overreacting.
At Compassionate Veterinary Hospital, it took less than 1 week to identify that Thunder Muffin has a permanent medical condition and to begin treating it.
She is a brand new, spunky, happy, and now cuddly kitty! And that is all because of the team here.

I took some time on finding new veterinary care for my dog due to past experiences and came across Compassion Veterinary Hospital. The reviews were so awesome, I figured I’d give them a try. This was our first visit and They were all so amazing and friendly and took really good care of my senior dog. They also go over pricing for all of the recommended treatments which is very helpful. We took our Old English Bulldog Penelope in last Friday for a nail trim which Penelope is a HUGE baby about having her nails trimmed, BUT, she wasn't fazed one bit while having her nails trimmed. Lindsay the Vet Tech did a phenomenal, outstanding job. Penelope never acted nervous or scared at all. Not only was Lindsey wonderful, the front desk staff, Tyler and Nicole were also AMAZING. They were very welcoming, friendly, helpful and caring. They made our visit just absolutely wonderful. Plus their prices were extremely affordable. Overall, everything and everyone at Compassion Veterinary Hospital was superb. We recently switched providers as our Bulldog has had some skin issues that remained unresolved even after other treatments, they were great! Prices were average, nothing extravagant and what I was quoted/expected. The follow-up was readily scheduled & immaculate and we were very happy with the organization and facility as a whole. They will definitely be our go to for our puppies form now on! She's hideously adorable, but she's our house hippo and we love her and want the best for her as most pet parents do. This photo was after her injection that fixed her skin and she's back to normal in under a week! Thanks!

This hospital is the best! They are very informative during visits. They really love and care for the wellbeing of all their patients. I had my cat hospitalized and they provided progress calls throughout each day and I was able to visit my animal. This practice also has a pet plan that can help with free vaccines and reduced prices on other services. I have never heard of any vet with this program but it is very awesome. 10+++ stars!!

Our dog has been very well taken care of by the wonderful staff at Compassionate Care Vetinary. They are the sweetest nicest group of people who have a lot of patience with my little dog who is afraid of people and does not like other dogs. I moved to Jarrell in 2021, and continued to see my old vet in Bertram, Tx until just recently. I am overjoyed that I switched to Compassion Vet Hospital. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Dr. H is awesome! My Labradoodle Peyton started having Thyroid problems back in December 2023, and was put on medication. She also has skin and allergy issues that my old vet simply never addressed with a solution and solid plan. I ordered some anti fungal medication off of Amazon to clean her ears but it wasn’t enough. When I started seeing Dr. H. She addressed Peyton’s issues by putting her on a 2 week itch medication and an antibiotic. She also put her on Hills Prescription Derm Food. Many doodles have food allergies and it appears Peyton falls into that category. Peyton will have a recheck on May 1st and we will see where she is at. From my perspective she is doing much better and feels more comfortable. As for my other furry “children”, they will see Dr. H when their annual’s come up in July, August and November. I have enough heartworm Prevenative to last until then so we’re good. I feel my babies are in good hands and any issues that arise will be addressed with a solution and plan, not just a patch to mask the real issue. TY Dr. H. I appreciate your attention to detail and approach in making sure my Peyton (and other babies) live a comfortable life. BTW, Dr. Havermann knows her stuff. She really impressed me with her medical knowledge, product knowledge and commitment to research topics that apply to my animals. In my opinion, she is a vet that goes the extra mile to make sure your animal is well taken care of medically, physically and emotionally.

Nice and clean as you come into the office. Great tech assistance.excellent with my dog. Dr is excellent, gave detailed information of pet health, also of cost upfront. I definitely making appointments for your pet.💜

Great experience...checked things that the other Jarrell vet did not, or would not, do to figure out my dogs issue. Then explained in great detail the problem and came up with a plan for resolution. They were upfront about all the charges and very compassionate. Great addition to Jarrell and deserves your business!

Most vests are good with pets, and the Compassion team were wonderful with Cosmo, my six-year-old Belgian Malinois. They were also wonderful with me. They made sure that I know how to administer the drugs, and they cheered when I gave Cosmo his pill down his gullet. I've never had a vet who took as much time with me as with my pet. I absolutely love them, and I will bring Cosmo here forever!

Our first visit with our new pup Otis was great! Everyone from the front office staff, to the vet techs and of course Dr. Havermann were all extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We have been to several vets over the 40 years of owning dogs and this practice is right up there at the top of our list!

I was super excited to have another option for veterinary care in Jarrell and this practice did not disappoint.
Scheduling an appointment was easy and they made an effort to get me in quickly. The clinic is very clean and modern. Each staff member we interacted with was kind, caring, and informative. All of the team members here seem to really love their job- which is important to me. They took our time with our appointment, making sure to address my main concern while also performing a full exam and addressing other potential concerns. Dr Havemann is very personable and treated my pet like she was her own. Finally, the transparency in their pricing is phenomenal. They kept me aware of what everything cost, my different options, and the total for the visit throughout the entire appointment. Watching your dog go through their senior years can be anxiety inducing, but I feel very confident that she will be getting the best veterinary care here, throughout the rest of her years.

We love the team at Compassion! They know our pup Scout by name when we walk in the door & are very patient with my 3 year old son! They are quick, efficient, and sooooo sweet!
