Sip Downtown Brasserie

Went here for a date night and had a pleasant time. The service was friendly, and knowledgeable. Several whisky/bourbon flights to choose from - highly recommend. My wife had the wine flight and found a new favorite (Quady Red Electra). For an appetizer we had the crab dip, which has nice chunks of crab meet and very savory. For entrees, my wife had the strip, and I had the shrimp and sweet potato grits - both well prepared and delicious. The atmosphere was calm and laid back. Highly recommend checking out Sip of you get a chance.

Very nice atmosphere and wine selection. Wine flights can be made out of anything. Diverse menu, with good appetizers and main courses. The burger and whipped feta are pictured. Recommend for anyone in the area

I enjoyed the Shrimp and grits which were extremely good. I've had that dish many times in Savannah Georgia and this was by far better than any of them! My boyfriend had the mushroom tacos which he said were a 9 out of 10. The ingredients were so fresh and flavorful. Parking was easy on the street but there is a nearby parking garage. They have delicious food but with a twist!

Loved this place! Best wine selection. They were the only place in this area to have any wines from Amador County, California (1448 red blend by Jeff Runquist Wines). The beef medallions were perfectly tender, juicy and full of flavor. We loved he mashed red potatoes (skins on!) with blue cheese. And the roasted vegetables were tender and flavorful as well. A beautiful, simple side salad with ranch dressing set the stage. The Ole White's Old Fashioned had the good kind of cherry. I loved my creme brulee and my husband greatly enjoyed his apple pear crisp with ice cream and caramel sauce (the special of the day). Cute atmosphere too.

Came in last night for a GNO, our waitress Crystal was fantastic! Super friendly and made great suggestions. We loved her! The bartender was also very helpful. Will be back!

This has always been the stand-out wine bar in town, but the food here has recently become some of the best there is. We brought a job candidate here, visiting from a big northeast city, and he declared the salmon the “best meal he had had in years”. Not just a wine bar any more, but also a high-end restaurant.

One of my favorite places to have a cocktail and a small plate. My friend and I always get the cheese board and charcuterie to split, as you can tell by my photos!

We hired Sip for a catering event for our sons wedding rehearsal and let me tell you they outdid themselves. They worked with me to provide foods of choice. They plated, they delivered, they picked up after event was over and it was all as we expected for this event. A group of us even went to Sip after the event and had a night cap. Thank you Allison & Emily! Highly recommend!

Awesome place to hang and be socially distant yet also socially awesome. Try the Weller Antique 107 or any of the millions and millions and millions of bottles of wine. I heard the fried green beans are pretty cool... (:

My husband and I ate here last night and it was a wonderful experience. The food was great and they had a wonderful assortment of wines to choose from. Every staff member we met was super nice. We will definitely come back.

This is an excellent date night or girls night out place. They even have a separate party room. The food is high end and amazing.

If you are a wine person then this is your happy place. We stopped in to get a snack, have a beer and see what it was all about. Very cool place and relaxed atmosphere! Portions could be a bit bigger for the money..

Atmosphere tonight is great, right along with the food. Can’t say enough about how hard the staff is working. If you’re looking for a great wine/whiskey selection, well this is your place!

Love the menu here and the vibe. Live music on the weekend just adds to it. The amount of wine and liquor to try is outstanding. Flights are available for both and highly recommend.

Truly wonderful meal and time spent with friends. Cannot recommend the Feta Dip enough to start your night. If you don't have a wine connoisseur with you - I did - the staff is very helpful. Great place!

I want to personally thank Alli White for making this awesome new establishment occur in Huntington's downtown, and especially for having the guts & heart to make it occur during these pandemic times. This is an extremely upscale venue that has a very selective and thoughtful array of all types of unique drinks to wet your whiskers. Slate, as well as his co-workers are all very knowledgeable about what is available on their menu, as well as extremely friendly. Beautiful interior as well. Thank you Alli!

One of my favorite places in Huntington! The new location, updated menu, and outdoor seating area are awesome. Allison, John, and their team are always ready to suggest the perfect wine. Definitely try the fried green beans and buffalo cauliflower bites!

How have we missed this place? We spend a couple of weekends in Huntington each year and stay within a block of this place. We had the charcuterie board, the cheese board, a bacon cheeseburger and a chicken panini- We all shared and everything was wonderful. Sorry it took us so long to discover this gem, will definitely be back-
