Made our yearly visit to red wing.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. We were able to pick our steel toes fast and easy with their help. The location is well kept and clean.
My husband was wearing slippers when we came in to get him shoes and they were kind enough to give us red wing socks during his fitting.

The experience was great! I enjoyed seeing the scans of my foot which helped the salesman recommend the correct products for my feet.

They have great customer service at this specific location! Most of their staff are very knowledgeable about the boots they sell. I am very impressed with everything about this store! Other than when I first bought my boots here, the sales rep didn’t pay close enough attention to my boots and accidentally gave me two different boots, sized differently, and so when I wore them to work the following day by lunch I was almost in tears and could BARELY even walk!! I had to go ask my boss if I could be late coming back from lunch because I HAD to run back to Red Wings to get new boots (or so I thought) I couldn’t figure out why my right boot fit so much differently than my left. Anyways my boss must have seen the tears in my eyes because he’s usually EXTREMELY STRICT with us on not being even a minute late and surprisingly he said, “yes you don’t have to wait you may go now!”. Which I have never been so relieved in my life!! I left right that second and the minute I got outside I took my boots off!! When I got to the store (mind u with no shoes on) Thankfully there was a different employee working, the woman who happened to be on shift took one look at my boots and knew immediately that one was a woman’s size regular and the other was a woman’s wide width (which was what I needed) NO WONDER IT HURT SO BAD!! Thankfully she apologized and got me the correct boots (same size) and off I went!! I love my boots they’re so comfortable now!! And I have a month to bring them back and either get my money back or exchange them for a different boot! They’re wonderful here! Expensive but worth it! Great quality! Thanks Red Wings!! I’ll definitely be a repeat customer WHEN my boots wear out. Which I don’t foresee that happening for at least a few years. Thankfully!

This is the best Red Wing location! I always get prompt and respectful customer service here both in person and in the phone. The Draper and South Jordan locations either ignore me completely or ask me if I'm shopping for "a woman". Ugh. Yes I'm a woman that needs safety toes for work. This West Valley location treats me like every other adult customer that buys their own shoes, and they have been consistently like this for the past 2 years that I've been going. They quickly order me specialty sizes when I need them. I'm done trying to deal with any other local locations. It's worth the extra drive to go to this location. Thank you West Valley Red Wing!!!!

This is where work allows us to get safety shoes on their dime. This location has a wide selection of safety shoes, insoles, socks and other accessories. I knew what I wanted before I arrived, but this was a busier day so we were there for more than 30 minutes. Definitely recommend this place for your safety shoes needs. Enjoy

Amazing store and staff. Best selection of Heritage boots. I will definitely come back for more. Staff was really friendly and knowledgeable. It looks like the main specialty here is work boots. Super Helpful staff, Huge selection! (Skip to bottom for quick summary)

I went in the store hoping to find something that would help make my 11 hour warehouse job more doable. I got a pair of boots made for my type of job, a pair of insoles that were scanned for my specific foot type, and some extremely high quality comfort focused socks. This experience not only blew me away in quality, but I just got home after working a full 11.5 hour shift, and honestly I feel at least an 85% increase in comfort. I seriously was skeptical that something so simple as a shoe could genuinely allow me to have so much less pain! I greatly appreciated the service I received. This may be the first time I’ve ever truly had a experience so good and high in quality that I will only go through RedWing from now on. I’m serious, it’s That good!

Price Breakdown: I would definitely go in with a minimum budget of $150. My Chukkas were $150, my 3 pies of socks were buy one get one free at $21 per pair, and my insoles were $90. My Total price after taxes was $307

I went into this location twice in the past week and both times I believe I was helped by newer employees. Even though the store was very busy these gentleman had great attitudes and helped me get any questions I had answered.

My experience was really positive. One of the guys recognized me from last year or at least my boots haha. They were really energetic and helpful. Also I highly recommend there boots! Kinda pricey, but so worth it. They have a really good selection and very insightful. I was in and out in a few minutes. One of the reasons I like this store is that they let you try on the shoes before purchase, also they are really quick in getting a pair of boots you want to try out. If your looking for boots try this place first you might be surprised.

Update: since the review below we have visited again. The staff was friendly, helpful and knew more about their products. She went to the back several times and double checked sizes. Super pleasant and helpful. They have definitely upped their game and hired decent staff.

Disorganized, unhelpful, not knowledgeable about any of the boots they sell. Didn't have the boots I needed in stock, didn't know when they would be there. Not able to give me any information about anything. I'm not sure why this place exists. Wish I could order online instead of wasting my time here.

I I work 14 hour days and about 10 miles a day, and my boots were essentially falling apart. I spoke with Shawn and he expressed the importance of measuring and making sure the I got the right fit. He asked many questions about what specs my boots needed and helped me narrow down my options. The rest of the staff was friendly and they have quality products. Would recommend to anyone.

I bought the Womens 3375 Mock Toe boot about 5 months ago. I have been wearing these boots daily. I am in love with these boots. They are comfortable for all day wear and protect my feet. I am around scooters and motorcycles a lot. The quality is amazing. I have narrow feet and fit a half size down from my normal length. They are perfect. Low key customer service and not in your face. Dissapointed that there are not more styles for women in this store. You get what you pay for and worth every cent. I bought another pair in a different color online since the store didn't have any other options.
