The Legend Restaurant&Bakery

This was my first time eating here. Food was delicious, service was fast, this could possibly be my new go to. $50 for a party of 3 with drinks isn't bad at all. I haven't had any desserts, but I did hear they are also delicious.

Food is amazing-all homemade! Quality products used in each meal... staff is super friendly... I loved the atmosphere so much I stayed almost 6 hours! I will definitely come back daily... if not daily atleast 5 times a week!

The server was really attentive. The prices were reasonable. We liked that there were a lot of menu options, so some of our group could order breakfast while others got lunch. The food was tasty.

Great location and atmosphere. Staff is so friendly and makes you feel so comfortable. So far only have had breakfast and it's been made to order and fresh. Good quality and nice servings.

This place is the bomb if you live in Delaware and your looking for a Diner this is the place. Audra was awesome also original from Jersey herself so it was great. Great atmosphere felt like home in Jersey. Delicious food. Definitely will be back. Great drinks.

I have lived with Arner's restaurant all my life being raised in Delaware. When it closed I tried other places for my favorite waffle breakfast. Nothing ever came close. For my mothers birthday we gave Legends a try. OMG!!! this was just like I remember but BETTER! The waffle was light and delicious and scrapple were great. My mother even commented that someone in the back understood the assignment on the eggs. She said light over easy and they were perfect on both sides. For sure we will be coming back here again.

The breakfast I ordered was amazing. The meat omelette with cheese was outstanding. The French fries well done instead of home fries were so delicious.

Typical diner atmosphere with cake and pie displays, they looked awesome! The food was all perfect. The price range was acceptable. I had blue crab eggs Benedict with a fruit salad and tea. Everything was delicious. They could upgrade the tea selection(chi tea).

The food was prepared in a timely fashion even with it being Fathers Day. I did takeout and everything was made to our liking. All end dishes we ordered was packed weigh with care along with the condiments that came with each meal. Large portions and the staff was very polite and friendly as we waited for our to go meal.

Chicken and dumplin's (free refills!) was very tasty and the grill zucchini was also very good.

Stuffed pepper soup was fine.

This was the first time here with my family and it was absolutely wonderful. The food was great. It is beautiful on the inside. I highly recommend. We got breakfast this time but I will try their dinner next time because we will definitely be back

discovered this restaurant a little over a year ago, excellent food, friendly staff. after visiting several times, tasting something different every .time. I can honestly say I've not had a dish I didn't like !!! We've taken several guess there and they all love this place. We dine there almost once a week.. It's our Go-To Place. Oh almost forgot , the on-site Bakery will make you kill yourself.

We went there this morning, Dec 13, 2021, at 7:30 for breakfast. This was our first time stopping there. The waitress was friendly even for a very early time. The food came out hot and it was very good. I added a picture of my plate but my husband got the same thing but with scrapple. The scrapple piece was huge. All around great place. Very clean and bright.

Our group meets at the Legend Rest. each month. They are very accommodating and helpful about menu items. The food is good and they have a large selection of dessert items which are fantastic. Everyone is very nice. We like meeting and eating at The Legend Restaurant.

I liked it. I haven't been here for several years since it was Arner's. They have a large menu, still sell baked goods, and I don't know if alcoholic beverages is new or existed when it was Arner's, but they served drinks also.

The pancakes are made from scratch. The banana pancakes are fluffy, perfectly fluffy. The staff is great, very friendly, and they also pay close attention to your needs. The coffee is not diner quality which is good, it tastes bolder and real. Custom cups are a plus making you feel at home. My wife says her bacon avocado breakfast omelet is phenomenal. She said it makes her feel transcendent and can take on the day with courage. We highly recommend this place as a couple who has traveled 15000 miles in the US to many different restaurants and diners. EXCELLENT!

This restaurant has come a very long way since the previous owner. The food is amazing, the desserts are out of this world and the staff are extraordinary!! If you want a pleasant atmosphere and amazing meal…try The Legend Restaurant & Bakery!!

I received an end piece of scrapple fried crispy and blueberry pancakes that were almost more blueberry than pancake 10/10 big thanks to whoever cooked my dinner I really needed a good diner breakfast and they delivered.
