Joey C's Boathouse Cantina & Grill

The food is stellar. If I had to recommend one drink, one appetizer, and one entree so far (with the few visits I've had since moving to CT), it would undoubtedly be the Seafood Lover's Nachos, which are *giant*, fresh, and so stupidly delicious, I don't know how people don't order extras to take home. For a drink, I would order my realtor's recommended drink (because she was right; it's the best thing since sliced bread), the watermelon micalizzi margarita, which comes with a super yummy scoop of Italian ice, and a cute bottle of 1800: Silver Tequila on top. Delicious and deadly, my favorite. As for the entree, I had their truffled mushroom burger, which was delicious and even better the next day.

I'm excited to keep exploring their menu, and I'll need to make a concerted effort to stop by when they have a live band playing outside; so far, we've only ever stopped in right after they open, so it hasn't been very lively or busy. Still, I am okay with the trade-off, which is lightning-fast service. Highly recommend. PS This "pirate restaurant" is also very toddler-approved. He loved their friends and chicken tenders.

This place has a Nice vibe ✨ good people Great drinks 🍸 live music, don't forget the cover charge, it was worth it. The live music is a must see. Overall for a last minute out it was a Great night out off the water. it was nice and cool Inside or out rain or shine and.... last night.... it did rain!!! although the night did not disappoint. This place was unexpected and I enjoyed it. This was a Very nice mature crowd looking for a good time with good drinks and enjoyable music. There is plenty of parking close or near enough to walk too. We definitely Enjoyed the fisherman's platter. Great recommendations from the waitress the seafood nachos were on the money 💰 and the Shrimp tacos were good so overall a nice place for a weekend or weeknights. Enjoyed an evening of food, drinks and dancing on the dock. My first time at Joey's -.enjoyed Celebrating my sister's birthday. Loved DJs, cool dance floor- great experience. People working the front door were not very friendly, but manager seated us at a great location by the water and near the great music. Will Def be back with my family.

Food was fabulous- I had the Turkey burger and it was juicy and seasoned well- my partner had the ribs so soft and tender. Michelle our hostess was exceptionally good. She had great suggestions and very helpful and friendly. Awesome service and atmosphere- will definitely be back sooner than later

Last minute time out with friends. It turned out the best time ever. The staff were welcoming and awesome! They made us feel welcomed and attended to our requests right away, seating. Security were top notch, thank you for your service. Our waitress Michelle was the best. She was professional , nice, fun and our orders were on point! Thank you Michelle.

So i happen to go to joey c's on a Wednesday night and to my surprise they had an open mic night. Besides having a great dinner i was able to experience some fun entertainment by local musicians. so if you want to have some good food and live entertainment i highly recommend going there on a Wednesday night.

We went on a quiet Saturday. No crowd. If I'm being honest the margarita my wife got could've been better. That's only negative. Staff was great and food was good.

Yesterday my husband and I visited Joey C’s for our first time and had a great experience! The food was delicious, the drinks were great and we loved the service. The vibe was rustic and the restaurant was also super clean. Nick is a great manager, Adam a phenomenal chef and Carey such an amazing and sweet bartender. We recommend this place to anyone looking for a go-to place to grab a bite and have great conversations. Make sure to purchase Joey’s custom seasoning used on his fries which is so delicious and the custom made cilantro dip! My husband and I are definitely looking forward to returning here!

Best burgers in the surrounding area, hands down . The service was also top-notch. Also, good diet Pepsi on tap been back twice. If you prefer an egg on your burger, they will make it happen

Went here to see a band play food was excellent but no table server near the bar so had to order everything at the bar. Great atmosphere and value. Can't wait for the summer to go out on the deck overlooking the river.

Food was great, drinks were on point where you actually tasted the alcohol and not just the mixers, and service was great too. Our server, Maria, was attentive, nice, and did a great job. Will come back again and ask to be seated in her area if possible.

Had lunch with my wife, good food. Good prices on the lunch specials; good portion size too, not too much not too little. Love the Marina setting. Bartender friendly and service was prompt. Always stop here for lunch when we hit up BJs.

The S.O.S burger was really good. The waitress was great. Awesome place. I will definitely go again when I'm in the area.

This restaurant was a great place to go to its food is great, I ordered the Mac daddy (one of the best Mac and cheeses I’ve had in a while) but other that that it was a little pricy but 100% worth all of it. The place was clean and had the smell of salt water cause it has an amazing view of 95 and the river highly recommended.

Delicious Octoberfest menu. Many choices. Great service... always able to accommodate
large groups. Live music is always a plus plus...

Our first time here. Our waitress, Michelle, made it worth it. She was incredibly friendly and sweet to my boys. We left before the music started but it looked like it was going to be a fun night.

Stephanie my server on table 15 was amazing best service I have gotten this year and I review alot. Joey C's this is my second review and wow you guys did a 360 and change alot and I love it. We will be coming back alot more, we fell in love with the SOS burger and the Crabby patty burger, the fries and selection of 🍻 is to die for, my fiance mango rita was on point. Thank you for this awesome day. Can't beat this view 🙏

Nice and spacious multi-level outdoor sitting. Courteous staff. Good menu selections and portion sizes. I enjoyed the food and the ambience contributed to the fun I had lunching with friends. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Went to a baby shower here. And I know what you're thinking, why would you have a baby shower at a seafood bar??
But their private room was absolutely magical and we were able to open up the bay door when the band was playing. It was super fun and the buffet they set up was awesome. Their Mac and Cheese was phenomenal!!
