I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Patron in Garfield Ridge, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant's cozy and vibrant ambiance set the perfect tone for a delightful meal. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Pastor Tacos. These tacos were nothing short of a flavor explosion in every bite. The taste was a harmonious blend of smoky, savory, and slightly tangy flavors, with a hint of spice that danced on my taste buds. The marinated pork was tender and succulent, perfectly cooked to deliver a mouthwatering experience. The Onion garnish added a refreshing sweetness that balanced out the richness of the meat. Stopped for a late lunch on our way home from Midway Airport. What a wonderful surprise!
Three funky, colorful exterior and signage caught our attention so we had to venture in and try their comida😊
I had 1 carne asada (steak) taco and 1 pescado (fish) taco. They were both very tasty. Fish was actually a portion of a filet, and truly could have used a bit more flavor a a little bigger serving.
We also tried the carne asada (steak) burrito. This, like three taco was super good! Very flavorful and very fresh.
The interior and exterior are lovely and colorful and lots of outdoor space and seating.
We would definitely return if in there area.

We went for Mother's Day brunch, and the weather was perfect to sit outside. The food was reasonable, but the fruit could have been covered and kept cool. The same for the conchitas could have been covered.

This place belongs on the Texas border!
The food is fresh and tasty, the servers are pleasent, accommodating and fast and the room is a great place to drink tequila!

First tried their food at their food truck and loved it! Came to their restaurant with others and everyone loved it. Plates are about $15 to $18 for a good amount. Everything was well seasoned. Beans was so good had a person who hates beans finish their entire plate.

Delicious, fresh, and fast lunch. Reasonably priced too. Would come back!

I brought a burrito for 11.07 with tax and the burrito was good and the price is good, the Restaurant is clean and the waiter was real nice, good 👍🏾 Service I definitely will be going back.

First time here. Had their Alpastor & steak tacos, pretty good. Also had their homemade limonada, very refreshing!! Will go back for more!🌮😀

This is an authentic Mexican Restaurant! When in Chicago you have to go! You will not be disappointed! Oh yes it's a byob so you know you what you are drinking cause you brought it. The serve authentic Horchata water and Mexican Lemonade! I recommend that! If I could give them 10 stars I would. Tell the Dave from Houston sent ya!

I LOVE EL PATRON! I ordered a combination of 1 Taco, 2 Quesadillas, 1 Torta, and 1 Burrito. I ordered it with a side of Rice and Beans and asked for cheese as an extra. I ate all of it with a Horchata to drink. The meat was Pollo Asado that I asked for. The sour cream was delicious and probably watery. I finished all of it and added rice and beans. I was all fat. So this day, if you are looking for a true Mexican Tradition Restaurant in Chicagoland. Then El Patron is the place to get Obese 😍😍😋😋🌮🌮🌯🌯🧀🧀🥣🥣👍👍❤❤🇲🇽🇲🇽🐔🐔

Listen if you looking for some delicious food this place will leave you satisfied and stuffed. Everything was tasty the Salsas the Burritos and the steak was tender and juicy. Staff made me feel like I was VIP and we could not have been more pleased with our visit.

This place is amazing and they have two outside patios to eat at. Private party's are optional they even cater food .Beautiful people with good taste in food.

Bistec a la Mexican was very good. Excellent fresh flour tortillas. Refried beans were awesome. Love the complimentary chips and salsa.

Ordered steak tacos with lettuce cheese tomato and avacado and it was delicious I would have posted a picture but was so hungry and I got a side of rice which was delicious I loved every bite

The BEST burrito I’ve ever had!!! I asked for it suaso and they did it right-,oven browned cheese!!
The ingredients were defined, the lettuce cool and crispy, the tomatoes sweet not runny! It wasn’t the biggest I’ve ever had, but it was by far the most delicious! Even reheating it didn’t ruin it!!! Worth the ride!!!

Every single time I come here, they're on point. The ratio of money spent to food is the best you're gonna find. Nice friendly staff. Great atmosphere

Took a chance to see how this place was and it’s pretty good. I went during work hours so it wasn’t too busy but steady. Got my food pretty fast and the waitress was friendly. I’ll be bringing my wife with me next time I visit. This is my second time here and I was just here yesterday. Lol

Been here to eat-in probably a dozen times, never had a bad experience. Food is good, consistent and service is friendly.
