Washy's Pub

We had a wedding rehearsal dinner scheduled at another restaurant but a small fire that morning left us scrambling to find another place to accommodate 30 hungry people.

The staff at Washy's Pub to the rescue. With short notice, they prepared several tables, brought in extra staff and were ready for us when we arrived.

Even better, the food was truly excellent and well-priced. The restaurant was spotless, and the staff were understanding and amazingly helpful.

I'd like to offer a very sincere THANK YOU to the folks at Washy's Pub. We were in a bind and you not only came through for us, you went above and beyond to make it a great night.

Decided to try out Washy’s pub today, Just left the pub and my first impression was how clean the restaurant was! The service was great, very nice and respectful people. My son had the cheese burger, husband had the bologna sandwich, and I had the blackened chicken- let’s just say there wasn’t nothing left on our plates. I would highly recommend coming and trying this pub out! We will see you guys again!!

The test of truth if a pub is really a pub, for me, is not necessarily the booze (Whisky) selection, but if they serve a great fish and chips.

Oh, and Washy's Pub certainly did. The hand bread cod fish was delish. I liked that they made their tartar sauce in-house too. I used it for both the fish and fries.

The coleslaw was okay... Just needed a bit more pepper to perk it up. Overall, great Pub find in Columbia, Illinois and on the main stretch, so it was easy to find.

Went in for lunch and service was great as always. Everyone was satisfied with theirs except mine. I had a chicken cajun wrap and tasted like pure salt so I had waitress take it back and no seasoning on the chicken wrap this time and was spot on it was great. Glad it was resolved and quickly came out. Otherwise all was excellent and will be back!! Thnx for making it right!!

We stumbled upon this great spot for drinks and snacks and were pleasantly surprised by the welcoming atmosphere and cleanliness. The young staff were professional, fast and attentive, making our brief visit enjoyable. We'll definitely be back for another visit!

Food was absolutely delicious, if you're travelling through I would 100% recommended eating here. The nachos were AMAZING and their burgers were cooked to perfection!

As an out-of-state visitor I was happy to find this place. Delicious pot pie and every single employee helped out. Great service, so good I may come back to town just to try breakfast. Forget chain restaurants, get off the highway and find them.

Great deal for Burger n fries! Big burger too. Fries have a crispy great exterior. Yummy. This is a favorite.

Was out with my wife and decided to try someplace new. She found this place on a Google search and wanted to try it. I wasn't really in the mood for pub-style food, but she was so we went.

I must say that it was a great experience. The food was good and the atmosphere was friendly and comfortable. Over waitress stayed on top of everything and made our experience that much better.

My group came in late Friday the 6th. I had just gotten off of a plane to visit family. The food and service was so amazing, considering we walked in 10 minutes before the kitchen closed.

Thank you so much to the cooks that night that still gave excellent service for the last ticket of the night.

Dakota was our server and he was amazing. Very accommodating and attentive. Also friendly and easy to talk to.

Great first impression from someone new to town!

We had our morning networking event here and ordered a family style breakfast. Jess was so helpful getting everything organized for us! We all had a wonderful time! The food was ready for us when we got there and it was delicious! There was plenty for everyone and lots of leftovers, which I brought back with me to work. I was very popular in the office! They took great care of us and we got a full breakfast spread for $10 per person. Wonderful! I highly recommend!

This is the best local bar I've been to in years. Bright, clean, great food and selection. Service was fast. We fly at the local airport, and this will be a regular food spot.

They have great food and drinks! I’ve been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner and love it all!

Son says they have the best Fries and cheese Burger ever.

Small pub atmosphere with plenty of seating, great variety of food, with daily specials. Beer specials and wine along with a full bar.

I generally order a side of tartar sauce with my catfish.

I got one this evening out of habbit.
I noticed when I was finished with my meal that almost all of the sauce was left. The breading and seasoning was so good I didn't want to disguise it.

The staff was so sweet, they worked hard to get our large group and table even though they were busy and there were no open tables. Kids meals come with fries, drink and a cookie. Then you can add an ice cream cup for $1. My son was happy:)

Went there early afternoon after golf.The gal behind the bar was very friendly,hospitable. Got a $7 burger special which was great. Not many people there during a weekday in early afternoon but everything was outstanding..
