Great spot for a quick lunch. Prices are very fair and the portions are big. Really enjoyed the enchiladas, and the Al pastor is awesome. Rice and beans are done right. The horchata is some of the best around! Salsas were all good, but the tortilla chips were a bit plain. Needed some salt. Other then that, would definitely come back!

I had the steak taco dinner and a giant margarita, both were really good. The tacos had quality steak and fresh cilantro. I tried the avocado jalapeno sauce in them and it was so 😋 tasty. We parked in a free lot next door.

This is a great hole in the wall Mexican joint. The food is excellently prepared and came out quickly. I got a skirt steak and enchilada plate and it was crazy good. The steak was seasoned well and everything had great flavor. And they bring out three different salsas with their chips, so having some variety is nice. It’s a small space, so it does feel a little cramped and I don’t think I’d eat their if it was full, as it’d be elbow to elbow, but for takeout or a quick lunch, it can’t be beat. This is some of the best Mexican food in the area and you won’t be disappointed if you give them your business.

First time trying this place today and I'd have to say they will be my new favorite. Everything was on point. Food was awesome. People are nice inside of there. Definitely recommend to everybody. Good job guys

Love this place. Sizzling hot food, friendly and warm atmosphere. Tried so much on the menu and I’m always happy- the 6$ shrimp ceviche is some of the best I’ve ever had!

First time! Muy rico! I ordered the quesadilla dinner of al pastor and it was super yummy! Came with my family and everyone loved it. We ordered a piña colada and after the waitress gave it to us a few minutes later she came with another because she said the second one was blended better! Attention to detail, good/fresh tasting meat tasty salsas and much variety. Will come back for sure 👍 😌

One of the best Taquerias in downtown Aurora. Across the street from the Aurora Public Library, this medium size Mexican restaurant has surpassed my expectations, my favorite dish the Desayuno El Tio has making me want to come back more often. They have natural juices, and my choice is the Vampire drink with a mixture of oranges, carrots and beets makes this reddish tinted a delicious and refreshing drink. This truly authentic Mexican taqueria has one of the best customer services I’ve seen, and the cleanliness is excellent. The parking lot is next to the building facing River street.

I love the food in this restaurant and the price was very reasonable the employees were very nice we didn’t have to wait a long time for our food….

We stopped in to try this place for the first time. Not disappointed at all. In fact, the food was fantastic. The chicken enchiladas with the green sauce was probably the best I’ve ever had. The one thing I noticed immediately when the plate was placed in front of me is that the food looked and smelled incredibly fresh. It turned out to be so. I hate food that’s bland and has no flavor. Happily that wasn’t the case here at all. The food was fantastic, tasteful and full of flavor. I will definitely be coming back again and again. This place is highly recommended. You’ll have to try the chicken enchiladas. The flour tortillas in the enchiladas are filled with plenty of white chicken breast meat perfectly seasoned and smothered with green sauce topped with perfectly melted Mexican cheese. The beans are particularly delicious too, unlike other restaurants they they don’t seem to come from a can, they have so much flavor one would think they were homemade. The servers were attentive and kept filling our chips, finally the price was for everything was affordable reasonable. You couldn’t ask for anything else.Update 1 year later. Still the best Mexican restaurant in Illinois! The Arrachera Steak is amazing!

Genuinely one of the best local taquerias I've been to, ever. The food here does my culture justice, as someone with a Mexican family. The tacos de asada are a classic, and the onion with cilantro is a must if you order them. Amazing service, amazing interior, and the food gets my seal of approval.

The hard tacos were so delicious i got 2 chicken and 1 steak hard taco dinner. The chicken had a lot of flavor the steak not as much flavor but very juicy and not tough at all. The rice and beans were good. The green salsa was very creamy and impressive. The orange in the cup and on the chips in the photo has a slight kick but is amazing with a splash of lime.

Everything I've had has been outstanding. I work near the location and my only disappointment is that I cant sit down and enjoy a meal. I frequent locations with similar fare and this place elevates every dish I'm accustomed to. Their green salsa is something to be celebrated while also revered and respected. I would recommend this location to anyone and plan to bring family and friends despite the 45 minute drive from my home.

Authentic Mexican restaurant, small, simple and family run. Passed by several times before I went in and found a decent amount of dine-in tables and table service, although you pay at the counter when you're done. But great food and friendly service. I'll return for sure.

Great food and great service! Some of the best tacos I've had in Aurora. The salsa is spicy but flavorful and the tacos come out just off the grill! Would recommend.
