El Jefe - Leña y Mar

Thursday Date Night. The food here was DELICIOUS. I forget what my dish was called but it was something like Devil Shrimp. Soooo good. Just the right amount of spicy heat. My husband ordered a steak and really enjoyed it. I initially found the restaurant to be a bit loud due to the overhead music but it wasn't so loud I couldn't have a conversation.

Love! Love! Love this restaurant! My first time coming here and met with friendly staff and welcoming ambiance. The food was delicious, the music was mixed and not just one genre, the drinks were divine and our server Antonio was there from beginning to the end. Definitely coming here again!

I visited the El Jefe Drag Brunch and I was very pleased. The energy in the place is amazing. The Brunch prices and portions are fair and the service is good. Service didn't get 5 stars because of the way food and drinks are delivered. The staff walks around asking, "who ordered this?" and they should know. It might be acceptable for one or two items but not the entire order. I did enjoy my time there and hope to be back!

Ambience- was a Warm and inviting look. Excellent atmosphere Even the sizzle of the arechera was amazing and the kitchen set up was unique Cleanliness-very Clean place overall. Outside inside and seating area was great. Menu- everything you would expect all your Mexican favorites . Presentation-was great finished look. Nice job looked delicious. Price- above average Taste- 5 stars very authentic Service-was great the Drinks!!! Absolutely worth it

A group of four of us went here for "date night" and the experience was great! I had the ribeye which was awesome !! My first drink was a cazuela and there was a minor discrepancy, of which, the waitress promptly resolved. Great decor, really good food and good service! What more can you ask for right?! Highly recommended!

It was amazing! The staff was very friendly and attentive! If you have a birthday they all come out and sing! Its an awesome view outside but inside is breathtaking they have a chair to take pictures in! not only the views but the food and drinks were amazing 10/10 I got enchiladas de camaron the sauce on in was spectacular! I got the beso de sandia drink was strong and sweet just how I like it! Everything overall was a pretty awesome experience here! we did make a reservation there is alot of free parking space around the building! definitely coming back I love this place! We had reservations for 9:30pm and we got there at 9 they let us in! the vibe is good at this time!

Wow, just wow! The food and drinks were simply amazing! We had guacamole for an appetizer. My friend had a creamy/cheezy seafood mix served in a pineapple. I had a fire roasted octopus. We also had the Mexican corn and a couple of fun and delicious drinks that were smoking and bubbling. I don't know how they did that! Everything tasted amazing! My only tiny complaint was the DJ was quite loud and playing club type music for it being so early in the evening (we were there from 5 to 6:30).

My first time going and I really enjoyed myself the environment is awesome everything was good and the drinks will get you tipsy they are well worth going to I'm most definitely going back

Love this place! Came for the Drag Brunch, and I will definitely be coming back. The show was super entertaining, food was delicious and drinks were tasty, so much fun. Would highly recommend.

Had a great time there for my daughter birthday. Food is good with great spices. The pineapple Mezcal drink i had was great and smokey. Dinner is a little pricey but worth it. My daughter enjoyed the birthday cake presentation. Will be back

As you can see by the five stars I left for every category to include food, service, and atmosphere, this place is a go to stop for us every time we're in town.

The music is just right, not too loud, not too quiet.

Every dish comes out looking like a work of art, they put a lot of effort into presentable dishes with authentic tastes.

They are always accommodating to us in every way, to include large party gatherings on short notice.

Shout out to Hector for having delivered us a five-star experience on more than one occasion.

As I promised, next time I'll give the tomahawk a shot when I'm in town :-)

Drag me to brunch program, Selena tribute. The limited menu was absolutely delicious. Prices were average for the location. The performers were so much fun and very engaging and made sure to go around to all the tables. Perfect for large groups must be over 21

I’ve seen some people say the wait here was long but personally we got seated right away without reservations! Wait for food may have been a bit longer but it was a very decent wait for the we got. The music was a bit loud, but personally I have a problem with loud noises, but I have headphones to help me out, rest of the family did not mind. The decor in the restaurant was AMAZING. Love the vibe of the place. The service was amazing, waiter was nice and we were consistently asked if we needed anything, and our plates were cleared regularly. We got our drinks fairly quickly, the presentation for the drinks were amazing, as-well as the taste. The food was AMAZING, I got the pina volcan, the flavors were amazing, the presentation was amazing. This restaurant was amazing, definitely coming back, really recommend this place!

Came to celebrate my sisters college graduation, not only did our server, Allan, go above and beyond he flawlessly took care of our table of 17. I really appreciate the fast, accurate service that I get when I come here. Food was delicious and drinks were too good I couldn’t help but get seconds🤭 Couldn’t have asked for a better night!

Food is fantastic, delicious, fresh!! $9 house, flavored margaritas, salt, sugar, tajin rims.
Churros so crispy, creamy dulce de leche sauce. (minus 1 star for atmosphere because it is dark inside for a 4pm afternoon meal)

Food was delicious! We had nachos, taquito's, chips and guacamole. The service was fast and friendly. It was a bit pricey but we were there for an event "Drag me to Brunch" Selena style which was so much fun. All the staff were dressed up like Selena and they were dancing and it was such a good time.

I’ve been to El Jefe multiple times to attend the Drag Me To Brunch shows and I can honestly say that hands down it is one of the best experiences! The attention to detail in the table settings, the music/show and service is one of a kind. The Queens are also so fabulous and so entertaining!
