Great place for Lunch and Dinner. Everything on the menu is great. And ever since the new owner took over a few years ago, I few more comfortable going in there regularly.

If you are looking for a great tasting Gyro this is your place to go around this area. The staff is very kind and the place is extremely clean. I have only been here maybe 4 times over the years and it is a very nice family owned environment. They ask a reasonable amout for extra gyro meat with the best quality around. I really missed it when there were more family owned places instead of chain after chain. I recently went to another place for a gyro and it was pathetic. This is the gyro king of the area that I know of💪😂

Papa G's has excellent Italian beef, burgers and gyros. Safe and clean and cool retro atmosphere. Nice little gem of a place more people should check out.

Love the BIG Gyro platter, make sure to order and extra pita bread, you'll need it. Parking is excess-able from either side and plenty of parking in back. Overall closest place to eat on south lake st.

The last time i had Gyros was a decade ago and after trying Papa G's Gyros and Pizza Puffs, I will definitely eating them more often! The dough on their pizza puff is the best and the filling inside is so meatyand cheesy. The Gyros and all their food are always hot when served, freshly cooked and meat so tender! Not like the other Gyro places where u just know that meat is freshly microwaved. The place is small though and you need to order online if you're planning to pick up an order. Otherwise if your dining in, it is worth the wait 😋

Really good food. I've had the burgers, Italian beefs, shredded bbq beefs, Chicago style and chili cheese dogs. They're onion rings are good and their cheddar broccoli bites are great especially with honey mustard! Great customer service every time and the food always comes out in a timely manner. Thank you!

Placed a phone order. They said give them 20 minutes. Food was ready in 30 minutes. Papa G's was pretty busy at the time. 7 people were waiting. The wait didn't bother me because how good the gyro and cheese fry were. Totally worth the wait. I can not wait until I return and try something else on the menu.

We found this place during the pandemic and it has become a favorite or ours. All of the food is super affordable, the fries are not overly salted like so many places do, and we absolutely love their hot dogs, burgers, and gyros. Not only is the food delicious and affordable, but the place is always clean and the staff are always friendly. Definitely a little treasure of Aurora.

Area around restaurant is a little run down, but this place is immaculate inside and out. Dining area bright and cheery, you can tell owners take a lot of pride in place when you walk through the door. I had gyro, good, but a little small. Fries disappointing, crinkle cut and boring, I miss the fresh cut fries from Mr. Beef and gyro. Staff her very friendly. Worth the visit, would definitely try it again. Place known for cheesy beef, will have to try that next visit.

Other than the fact they don't seem to get plain English on the phone about delivery I will have to say plain amazing Italian beef. I'm in love and wish I lived up here but have to say every time I visit my sister I will be ordering again.

This place has wonderful interior decor. I love the theme of a run-down type style and or a country vibe. Their food always comes out hot and tasty. However, they could improve on the partaking spaces. One of my cars have been door danged multipul times every time was in a different parking spot too.
But, this place has great decor, entertainment, and customer service. A 5 star too me.

this might be the best, Italian cheesy beef I’ve ever had. Everything I’ve ever gotten from here is very good very fresh very hot. I’m relatively new to the area. This will be my new go to spot.

Love this place! The food is delicious! When you walk in you're instantly teleported back to the 20th century. Back when everything was easy and people were fun, businesses cared and sports were about the game and not politics and money. One of my favorite local places to eat. The beef sammies are juicy, rich flavored and delicious. The gyro is fresh, perfectly cooked and leaves your mouth watering for more. Crispy fries, clean tasting drinks and an atmosphere that leaves you coming back for more.

Italian subs are fire. Prices are good to. These guys are all business getting your food to you right an not sloppy.. I can see they care about their food and rep. I always drove past these guys until I got a uber there and im glad i did now my whole family eats there.. Definitely recommend papa G's to anyone who likes good food...

The best food ever!!! I never heard of this place but I saw that they deliver through Uber Eats so I thought this would be perfect to try. Best decision ever. I had a chance to try the gyro fries, a gyro and fried shrimp. Everything was so good! They even remembered the additional requests of extra sauces (some places often over look that). I am highly satisfied and this place just became one of my favorites.
