Two Brothers Roundhouse

This was my first visit here, and initially, I was somewhat puzzled about where to go. However, the hostess was exceptionally welcoming and kind, taking the time to guide me through both areas. Upon entering, you find the restaurant to the right and, to the left, a bar along with a venue for live music. I visited on a Saturday night specifically for the live performance by Semple Band, and it was incredible. There was a $15 entry fee, payable in cash only. I hadn't brought any cash, but fortunately, there was an ATM right at the entrance, which was convenient. Inside the live music venue, there are two floors and plenty of space for dancing. There were lots of tables and seatings available, but you have to grab them quickly as they're first come, first served. The live music venue opens at 7:45 PM. Both the bartenders and the staff were amiable and efficient. I thoroughly enjoyed the roundhouse burger with waffle fries, priced at $16, and the beef nachos for $20. Both dishes were scrumptious, and I'd definitely order them again. The live band was fantastic, and I met many wonderful people. I had a great time at this venue.

Highly recommend, we are already looking forward to our next visit. We ordered the pretzel appetizer: so fluffy. The fried pickles which were amazing and the sweet potato hummus which was so good it had even non hummus/sweet potato people liking it. Great balance of salty from the olives/feta and heat from the chili oil.

I ordered the ribeye sandwich medium. It was not cooked medium but still yummy. The bread was so light and airy. We loved the waffle fries which were crispy. Also tried the pot roast which so tasty. Others in my group ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap and loved it. The chicken looked crispy and flavorful. Large portions although the wrap seemed a little on the smaller size but still a good portion.

This place is so beautiful and I like that they can accommodate a larger group easily. We were 8 but usually have 2 more and that didn't seem like that would have been a problem.

Also, if you like sours the Astro Fizz was wonderful. Went down so nice, very fruity. Love that they have the little fridge to buy some of your favorite brews. I ended up buying some to take home.

Our studio (R.E.M. Video and Photography) photographed a beautiful wedding at Two Brothers Roundhouse last fall and we really had a phenomenal experience. Two Brother Roundhouse is a unique wedding venue that offers a lovely vintage dressing room, an outdoor courtyard with a gazebo, and of course, great food, bar and brewery. The historic grounds and green foliage creates a lovely backdrop for capturing special moments for couples.

We loved the service and the food! We had fish n chips, burger, and a ribeye sandwich. Loved the tarter sauce and beer battered cod! The waffle fries were also delicious. Very pleasant dining experience. Will come back again when we are up this way.

Service was excellent and speedy, food was delicious, environment is really unique and interesting. Great experience! Who knew how much I needed sweet potato hummus??

Great place to stop in, a lot of history in the round house. They have old photos throughout the buildings history. The bar and brewery itself are a sight to see - eye candy to a home brewer. Very clean bar with great bar staff to go with it - very knowledgeable local staff on hand is always a plus!

Should have written something beyond just the five stars. Going to be clear, We're going to become regulars. The wait staff was extremely kind and attentive. The food was very good and really set the bar for a brew pub. We left right before the live music but the atmosphere both inside and out was really great and can't recommend enough this as an Aurora area gem that should be experienced!

One of the top wedding venues for the Southwest Chicago region with high quality food, drink and service. The outdoor courtyard is a lovely setting for your ceremony with a variety of areas for family, wedding party and couple photos.

Known for bigger weddings, but great for small weddings too! My wife and I wanted a very small, intimate wedding, and we had our perfect reception at the Two Brother's Zephyr Room. The room was free to book, so long as we met the minimum amount for food and drink (was $1000 minimum weekends, $750 weekday at the time). For a small fee, we had larger tables put in with nice white table cloths. The atmosphere was perfect, we were allowed to put up some of our own decor, and we were able to play our own music or have them play their playlist. The dinner was great, very good prime rib or filet mignon, as were the apps. The bartender was incredibly kind and helpful, and he made great drinks from everyday stuff to top-shelf liquors and smoked cocktails. We wouldn't have changed a single thing about our wedding reception. If you have a small wedding, or you just want to get a group of people together for a special occasion (we had ~30, but you could probably get away with a little more), the Zephyr room at Two Brothers is a GREAT option. And yes, there is enough room to dance and the speakers are good. We moved the tables back a bit after dinner, and had plenty of room!

We were traveling through and stopped to check this place out. I'm so glad we did.
The food is INCREDIBLE, the waitress was above our expectations, so friendly and attentive, and the buildings history was incredible to see and learn.
I can not even begin to explain how amazing the flavor is in all the dishes we tried, it was all just so perfect. But what I will try to explain is the lemon 🍋 dessert cake that literally melted in our mouths and burst with just the right amount of lemon and vanilla. Ok you have to go try it!
I decided I needed to walk off dessert and snap pictures of the building and was doing this when the owner came up to me to tell me about other pictures to check out. He then offered us a tour. I was so excited! I love history and old buildings. We were able to learn so much about this place and all that it holds in its walls.
The staff, owners and food are all incredible and it houses a whole lot of things to do.....coffee bar, bar, restaurant, karaoke, comedy shows, paranormal explorations, there is a brewery, a ball room for weddings, and outdoor gorgeous area for lots of fun and so much more I know I'm forgetting.
This is a must stop, must see place. I'm so thankful we made it a stop on our trip.

What an amazing space! Architecturally astounding and definitely an incredible space for a wedding venue! The staff is extremely friendly and supportive, and the space is massive to fit a ton of people both inside and outdoors. The history of the building truly makes you appreciate the care Two Brothers has taken to keep the rustic charm yet also have a fun modern feel to it. I would definitely recommend this as a place to get married and have a reception! They have it all!

Went for a work event, and was pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend it for large group events, as well as just grabbing a bite to eat. And of course we know the beer is great. I am glad to see a building/historic area be put to good use by being repurposed into this pub/brewery. Definitely will be looking forward to future events here, no matter the size of the party. A lot of options, and I will definitely be recommending it to friends and family.

I had the walleye risotto, it was delicious with great flavors.

6-18-22. We had reservations for brunch and were given our choice of indoor or outdoor seating. Our waiter did an excellent job of taking care of us during our entire visit. He provided information on any of the drink and food items as needed. The drinks were great! Appetizers were great! Food was great! We will return soon.
6-19-22. We returned for the Father's Day festivities we saw advertised yesterday. We enjoyed sitting at a table in the shaded portion of the courtyard area listening to live music. Of course we did have to try the delicious cheese curds and the pulled pork. They have a good selection of draft beer and the food was amazing. We will come back here when we are in the area.

Really cool historic space—I believe it is the oldest train roundhouse that still remains in the United States. There are a ton of spaces within the building that are managed by Two Brothers. Their coffeeshop is very chill and spread out with good coffee drinks and interesting syrups (their City of Lightning syrup is great and slightly spicy), making it nice to work in—I wish it stayed open slightly later. The restaurant and music events are cool too, and the canned mojitos are wonderful.

Always love the Roundhouse when coming to the area! Great food, good ambiance, and excellent service.
We started with fried pickles and cajun mushrooms. They were both delicious. For our main dish, we ordered the prime rib and the Buffalo chicken empanadas. Both were excellent.
Drinks and service were prompt.
Will be back when we are in the area again!

I love places like this. Lots to see and do eat, drink, listen to a band or comedian or just enjoy the atmosphere. Very chill laid back old railroad roundhouse. Great use of the space. Can't wait to come back on a Friday or Saturday for the Zephyr Room.

Absolutely loved this place! Walking distance from the Holiday Inn express, amazing food, good drinks and a super cool location. We loved our lunch so much that we went back for dinner. By far the best wings I've ever had! Food was very fresh and cooked perfectly. Very accommodating if you have food restrictions/sensitivities/allergies. Highly recommend!

I had the walleye veracruz and it was very good! My mom loved her hamburger. The fries were perfectly crispy.

This is probably the best beer garden I have been to in the U.S.A. and has become my favorite place in Aurora. Just revisit this place and the food has improved over the years. I especially appreciated the hot fries. Sitting outside listening to a band while sipping a cold one is unbeatable. I highly recommend this place, still a gem in the suburbs.
