March 2024 update: it's been a year since I was here. Said we'd always come back if we're in town and we did. It's as perfect as remembered. Apparently we aren't the only ones that feel that way. 500+ more likes on Facebook bar counter.

The food was delicious! Best chili cheese burger ever. Potato skins top 5. Anything with the homemade Bacon Jam! We'll always find time to stop in anytime we are in town. Located in the heart of old downtown Aurora. Within walking distance of a few hotels and the casino.

We enjoy having a quick bite and a well made drink at the tavern on Broadway. Drinks are always excellent. Cheese curds are ok. Burger is premium pub patty, but well cooked and seasoned perfectly. Clam chowder is one of the better offerings in the area. Fair prices, awesome service and fast service if you are running a little late to the theater.

I experienced wonderful service here. I enjoyed the turquoise. Blue theme is a southern Tavern with beautiful lighting as well.

The music and the vibe from the staff was great and those cheese curds won our hearts right away and the drinks are so delicious but will sneak up on you the burgers were delicious and juicy and the fries were crispy and soft

We had a great dining experience here! Staff was friendly and personable. Burgers were cooked perfectly, fries seasoned just right and cocktails were superb! Really nice atmosphere too. A new spot for us for sure!

The hot wings were amazing! Crispy and great hot sauce. Best I’ve ever had. Cheeseburger was good too. Service was quick. Will definitely return!! Loved the food

I lived in downtown Chicago for three years. And Tavern On Broadway reminds me a lot of places I ate at.
I've been here when it's busy and when it's not, but rest assured I was taken care of very well.
Katie was great at reading our table. She saw we wanted some drinks first, gave us some time to drink and chat, then arrived at the perfect time to take our food order.
***She made this shot for us (Malibu, pineapple juice....and other mixes) it was delicious!!!! If you're ever there, ask for Katie and her special drink she just might shake one up for you.

The Spicy burger was awesome! Highly recommend it!

Had the fowl & swine flatbread and buffalo wings and both were delicious! They had a good selection of beer but the whisky sour was amazing! Atmosphere and service were great.

The food here is great, the pricing is even better. Fantastic little joint that knows what they're doing. Highly recommend if you're from out of town. The bacon jam burger was very balanced.

Pat welcomed us in, me for the first time.
What knocked me out was the selection, broken into sections, of rye, bourbon scotch, AND Irish Whiskeys!
Food is great, common pub food with some uplifting additions and twists.
Beautiful, long, wood bar.

Had dinner last night and had a very nice experience. We made a reservation on the website and was seated right away. Tara who was very friendly was our server. I highly recommend the clam chowder (sooo yummy) and their burgers. A comfortable, lively atmosphere within walking distance to the casino and the kris kringle market.

Food was delicious. Beer selection is solid. Nice atmosphere. Went on a Friday night and they had a live Singer/ guitar player

From out of town and saw the great reviews on google. Worth every penny. Had dinner here and the food is definitely higher quality than your typical bar food; the bacon jam was amazing and you will not be disappointed if you stop in for a drink and end up eating a whole meal here.

Owner is a great guy... food was prepared with care and attention to detail... but the beer selection was what really impressed me. Just what Aurora needed. Will be bk ... repeatedly 👍

And the entertainment is wonderful to make you think that there are people around your area with such great talent.
You should come here and experience this for yourself.
They do these events every third Thursday of the month.

Went in for a drink and ended up ordering hot wings after the gentleman next to ordered some. Wings were crispy and came with celery and carrots, recommended ordering the wings. Bartender had great conversation and very helpful with nearby entertainment options for the evening. Will be back.

We went yesterday for food and drinks and everything was really, really good. Highly recommend the coconut shrimp and the spicy burger. Best Moscow mule and smoked Manhattan too. This place is a hidden gem in downtown Aurora.

Great time! Bacon jam flatbread was awesome! Pulled pork French fries were so good! The staff is friendly, the place is very well taken care of and clean. Going to be back! We heard quiz night on Wednesday's is a lot of fun.

Let me tell you something about this place. The service is a little slow…. I will admit. However you can tell they are doing their absolute best. Server was so kind and genuine and I swear on my life no one can cook a medium rare burger anymore. When I say this was top three burgers I’ve had I don’t say it lightly. Highly. Highly recommend and bravo to whoever is on that grill. Be patient with the service they are busy because they are awesome.
