I have had a couple of encounters with Rush since moving to the area a year ago. One family member needed an appendectomy, and I recently needed surgery (unplanned). Both encounters impressed me deeply with the caring, compassionate, professional staff, from the front desk to the nursing staff to the on-call surgeons. It eases my mind to know that Rush is my hospital.

Now I will say that, like *everyone else at least in any field of human care*, they are short staffed at times (so please, young people, consider a career in medicine or education!). This can mean long wait times. But this is not on them, and it is ok to trust them in ordering the queue. They've been trained to recognize immanent danger. I promise you, go to any immediate care facility, and no matter who runs it, that's how it is. Yet, these fine people handle people who are in pain, afraid, frustrated, etc., and they do it with a grace that is remarkable.

A big thank you and a cyber hug to the fantastic staff at Rush!

Went in for possible stroke symptoms and was seen immediately. Got CT and MRI imaging within an hour, despite them being busy and estimating a wait of between 2 and 24 hours. The doctor wasn't able to interpret my imaging results that day so I was admitted overnight even though I felt better. However the doctor made it a point to get to my results in the early morning and I was discharged very quickly.

The staff here is amazing. I was terrified and they were helpful, professional, conversational, and just an all around joy.

I had a great experience! I came in the emergency room and ended up staying in observation over night, the doctors and nurses, (katie squared) were exceptional and the incredible testing that I received was so comprehensive. I live in Tennessee and Lori in records was very kind and able to send results to those tests very quickly. I was treated with great care.

Thursday night of last week, I was dealt with a medical emergency. I went to Rush Copley since it was an immediate need for care. Yes there was a wait, but what hospital emergency room isn't lately? I waited my time and once I got to triage, it was apparent that my issue was more severe than I thought. I was admitted to the hospital shortly after arriving and cannot tell you how amazing the staff was. From the greeter, triage nurses and techs, to the nurses in the ER itself... they all deserve so much for everything they encounter on a daily basis. The nurses and imaging techs who assisted me while I was in the hospital were amazing and very compassionate. We often overlook the ones who work long, exhausting shifts, providing care to those who are in need because we live in an amazon age of demanding things right when we feel we need them. Everybody is exhausted from the last two years and healthcare is beyond that exhaustion. Take time to realize they are doing the best they can. I know its hard, but Copley is truly an amazing place for care. Thank you for your swift and caring actions last week. My family and I appreciate each and everyone of you.

I was extremely amazed at the staff and treatment here. I had been bounced around, ended up in the emergency room and then admitted to the hospital. A severe Bite created a huge mess and series of infections. I felt like I was in a fancy hotel and sincerely appreciate the nurses, staff and doctors. Shout out to Ariel…not sure I spelled it right, but she was awesome. All staff was great except the mean lady at the wound center. Lol.

We honestly had a great experience here. A family member was admitted to the hospital a few days prior.

Every one of the nurses that we encountered was engaging, educated, and proactive answering our questions about follow up care.

We had a far superior experience here than a few weeks ago at Advent health Bolingbrook.

Given the choice, we would gladly return here.

They have been taking care of my mother. She suffered a twisted bladder. I have the UT most respect for your Dr.s not to mention I was a patient at Copley when it was in Aurora. I am survivor of a head injury..not to mention, I was born there also.

I have had to bring my daughter to the ED twice, once at 3 months and once at 6 months. The staff was wonderful both times. Very compassionate with having a little baby, and did everything they could to make us both feel comfortable. They checked on us frequently and explained everything that was going on. I wouldn't ever hesitate to bring my family here if it was needed.

Have been going to this hospital for many many years. Just came back again with a serious illness. The nurses were thorough, they got me back as quickly as they could. In ER department the nurses and doctors were working on me very quickly and I was getting very good treatment. That night the ER was extremely busy and they were doing there best. I felt safe, and received very good care. I would always recommend Copley

Very good hospital! Probably the best one. The staff in the nursery department are truly beautiful people. I'm so greatful my beautiful Son (RIP), was born here. They have everything you need here and a super cute shop. The only complaint I have is getting transferred to the right department on the phone line. Other than that, no complaints. 5 stars still. 🌟 🤩

This box isn’t big enough for the INCREDIBLE care team I’m about to praise. I just had my first baby and my nurses Madison Lara and Shannon went above and BEYOND for my care. They even stayed past their shift to see my daughter be born, and support me after. I just don’t think there are words to describe how much easier they made my labor and entire birth experience, and truly made every moment of it enjoyable.
Dr. Argyelan delivered my baby and he was the kindest, most down to earth and personable dr I could’ve been lucky enough to have deliver my child. He honored everything I asked in my birth plan and eased my fears. I highly recommend him!
Last but not least the ENTIRE team who cared for me post partum was wonderful, but a few I’d like to say an extra thank you to, Shannon Sue and Allison. This entire team I interacted with during my stay continued to go way above and beyond to care for me and her and I simply couldn’t be more grateful. Birth is scary and difficult in many ways, this team of doctors and nurses made it so enjoyable im forever grateful. You’ll be lucky if you get any of them.

If I could give them more stars I would. I was 32 weeks pregnant when I was admitted to the hospital. But the er was my first stop. Isabella and Liz were the best nurses I've ever had. They were so amazing and caring. They went above and beyond. The nurses who came down for my pregnancy were Janet and Emily. What sweet, funny, and caring nurses they were in such a hard time. They really were amazing. Then when I was admitted I was taken by Kate in surgical. She was the last nurse I had and boy was I lucky. She was so attentive and kind. She was also funny and took great care of me. I guess I hit the jackpot with all these ladies because I was scared of hospitals but they treated me like family. I love that. Bless all of them! Thank you!

My daughter was born at Rush Copley and we had an awesome experience! The staff in L&D and Mother/Baby were all wonderful. Attentive, and asked us before they did anything with baby. She was with us the entire time, and they asked before taking her out of the room to check bilirubin if we preferred her in the room or out of the room. Everyone was very thoughtful.

Gave birth here in Oct 2015. They took great care of me and my child. I was very comfortable with the staff.

The labor nurses were 10/10! At a crucial moment one nurse changed my position slightly to get more pushing power and POP, out came a baby.

The hospital was clean, and the labor/delivery area was quiet the day I was there. The recovery floor was also quiet and I got as much rest as was possible; no one interrupted my sleep.

The lactation consultant was invaluable! She figured out why my child was not nursing well right away and got us off to a great start in a long-lasting nursing relationship. She made sure to see us before the end of the day. I'm pretty sure she was late leaving the end of her shift, but without her I am positive I would have struggled (much more) with successfully nursing.

Would recommend for labor and delivery.

Edit: Gave birth here again in 2018. Second experience was comparable to the first. Still recommend. Used the services of their midwives both times, who are amazing and invaluable.

Yesterday I had a cortisone injection on 08/10/22 with Dr John Doumanian. He was fine but wore 2 masks and a face guard. Very hard to understand. Heard he was very meticulous and that's good for this .

The person I want to thank is his Nurse, Kate. She was amazing! I had to hold a position for awhile with me hip and foot. Very painful and did not think I was going to make it

Kate grabbed my hand and started asking me about my daughter who drove me. Completely took my mind off the pain.

She's very funny too! Love it!

Need more nurses like her!

Thank you Kate!

Attentive caring staff. Updated hospital. I will drive the extra 50 miles just to receive care from this hospital. I have had all my children here, maternity was comfortable. & Father was cancer patient and cared for nicely and respectfully. We used the ER on several occasions and never had issues. Overall this Hospital works hard and deserves to be rated accurately. Thank you for all your hard work. My family appreciates Rush Copley.

After going to see various Nurse practioners at Morris Hospital in Yorkville and joilet Dermatology due to lack of being able to see real doctors, my wife end up with infection that started spreading and landed her in Emergency Department at Rush Copley medical center in Aurora.
I was really impressed by the quick diagnosis. Everything the ER doctor did including CT scan matched everything that doctor should have done to properly diagnose her symptoms.
We left the ER after receiving strong antibiotics vs the weak antibiotics that my wife received from Nurse Pratitioners to treat her infection and so far she is responding well so I am very grateful for the excellent treatment that we received at Rush Copley medical center in Aurora. A followup with eye doctor confirmed that there us no damage to her eye as result of the infection so thank God for that.
Take my advise and never go to see Nurse Pratitioners and try to see a real doctor instead.
After receiving the bill I was surprised to see that the bill was not loaded with many codes and the charges for each code are the same whether you have insurance or not. The real surprise came when I stopped by to pay the bill. In particular I received about 30% discount because my wife didn't have insurance. I know no hospital that will do that. So thank you Rush Copley for helping partients.
Last, i stopped buying health insurance when the best price I can get is $3750 per month. Instead i put the money, $3750 each month, in investment account for the last 6 years to self insure and cover emergencies like this.

Thank you
ANJ
