To be honest, sometimes the prices and/or the sales could be better.

I went here to check it out and I am very impressed with the store and the staff. They take the time to sort and organize everything! Right down to the books into subject category. Everything is reasonable priced.
It is easy to find anything you need. Overall my experience was wonderful.

I visited sparrow’s nest for the first time yesterday (April 2022) and I really enjoyed my experience there. Everything was VERY clean, Very orderly, not cluttered and everything was clearly priced. It seems apparent that someone is cleaning the items before they go on the floor. They also except Debit/Credit cards.

I found a beautiful 4 piece mid-century modern furniture set in great condition. It looked like something you would see on West Elm’s website. Also, the employees were very kind & pleasant. They were patient and friendly with my toddler who found his way into the toy section. We ended up buying an awesome toy truck for $4 that’s currently selling on Amazon for $29.99! We also bought some shirts (brands: Carter & The Children’s Place) for $2 bucks each because, they looked and smelled freshly laundered. They were too cute to pass up! The clothing section was sorted by size so it made it super easy to find items for my son. Lastly, I bought a beautiful necklace for $5 bucks and it was exactly the same as the one I’ve e been eyeballing on Etsy.

Lot’s of fun items! I’d definitely recommend stopping in from time to time!

I shop at Sparrow’s often . Their selections are great and very inexpensive. I love going there also because of the great staff is so pleasant and courteous. My compliments to the manager.

Sparrows nest store is one of the best places I have gone to for just about anything I need. Selection s are awesome and the ladies are so nice and helpful. Will shop there always.

Definitely one of the best thrift stores for quality and value. The most clean, neat and well thought out display store I frequent. Every one of the staff members I have delta with have been kind, respectful and extremely helpful. Thumbs up!!!

I am proud to say I volunteer at the Sparrow's Nest in McHenry. The store is clean and the merchandise that is donated is in excellent condition. Many first time customers come in and are amazed at our store. They thought they were in a retail store. I have seen some retail stores that do not look as nice as our "Nest". Please come visit us.

Highly recommend the Sparrow's Nest for resale shopping and donating gently used items. Proceeds go to housing women & children, and providing woman with skills & supports for independent living. The high level of donations they receive keep their 6 shops interesting and fun.

I have come here a few times there's always great items, place is organized and clean, for a great cause too!

What a nice little resale store. The full size furniture department is unexpected from the sign, but it's definitely much bigger on the inside. Recommended!
