Sunset Foods - Long Grove

I recently found this food store, honestly didn't know they existed, and they're not that far from me. I was looking Passover food. They had a large selection in their deli, and I was able to pre order. The people in the store are very nice and helpful. The food was amazing, and so was their Passover baked goods, which is no small feat 😂. I will definitely be a frequent customer.

Eclectic selection of packaged foods as well as items prepared fresh in-store. They also have a good frozen food offering, including vegetarian and ethnic dishes. We enjoy browsing the aisles to find new things to try and are never disappointed.

Very organized clean store with many deli, bakery, hot food, grab and go, and sushi options available. Staff was helpful and welcoming. I had to do some tastings here so I enjoyed my time working here. Nice to see the rapport that’s been built between the staff and their regular customers.

Very helpful and friendly butcher - beautiful selection of fruit and vegetables and so many choices and options throughout the store! Best choice of any grocery stores around!

Love Sunset. Very friendly, and very clean. Love the prepared food, great meat and produce departments! Very helpful about anything that comes up. Even orders requested items. 👍🏻

I usually stop in for the prepared food. Their Nadia's Pasta Salad and Acapulco Tuna Salad are family favorites.

Wide variety of options. The deli is very good. Rarely have to wait anywhere for service.

Great food and great service. They also present a large number of unusual items.

Sunset Food is my FAVORITE grocery store! Freshest produce, meats, and dairy. I only wish I lived in the area so I could shop there all the time!

Shop here often. Little higher prices but better merchandise and customer service. They source many products from local breweries, farmers, distilleries and their deli counter is awesome! Fresh sushi and bakery daily.

Sunset Foods is great! I went to three grocery stores today (not by choice) and Sunset actually had grapes that looked good. Aldi and Trader Joe’s selections were terrible. Sunset had fresh baked bread that wasn’t frozen on a truck and delivered right to the aisles. Who wants frozen bread? “Not I,” said the fly. Sunset always has a great selection of everything I need. Always.

Always find what you want. The clerks here are SUPER NICE and helpful. Such a welcoming place to shop. The Acapulco tuna is by far the best tuna salad ever!!

Just went in here to try and find some strabwerry lemonade since i know it’s very popular. when i was looking, one of the staff was so kind to ask me if I needed a cart for my belongings, which is awesome customer service. I also asked him if he had any strawberry lemonade. He asked several other staff members, who were also all so very nice to help find a strawberry lemonade for me. They didn’t have it, so i ended up picking a raspberry one which was fine. but i was amazed at how dedicate they were to finding me a strawberry lemonade. Very dedicated workers here.

Great ready-made food. Excellent produce and meat departments. Everyone who works there is very friendly and helpful. It's like an old-time grocery store experience. You'll pay a little bit more, but it's worth it.

This is a very nice store and I would never have to cook because they have lots of yummy food in the deli. Salads are plentiful I especially like the spaghetti with either artichoke or chicken and oils as the dressing.

This store is more than just about shopping. It is full service extraordinaire. When looking for an item they always take me to it...they just don't point me to it! They help you at check out directing you to the checker that's ready and then your groceries are bagged for you! Parking is easy and close. Freshly prepared food is amazing and...the best part...when an employee sees that my shoe is untied...he reaches down to tie my Allbirds! I'm 92 so this counts for a lot! They make me feel like they are my friends and family.
