Shop under new ownership and I immediately have confidence and trust again at this location. My first visit back in a year and they were immediately very friendly, attentive and open to my feedback/questions. They did not try to push anything on me I did not needed. The new ownership has bright back that great feeling of them treating your car like their own. I will no longer hesitate to use Cary Merlin for all my automotive needs.

They do a great job of looking over the entirety of the car to inform me of the things that will be in need of future repairs and even have the courtesy to let me know Discount Tire put my new tires on "inside out." I was a walk-in and they treated me as kind as if I was a 20 year loyal customer. Prices were more than fair and speed of service was exceptional considering I walked up with no appointment and a car that’s semi rare, when it comes to parts availability.

They went above and beyond to find the noise but unfortunately they couldn’t find it. Did an overall check and they said my truck was safe and I had nothing to worry about. They said if it gets louder I can come back and hopefully they will find and fix the noise. Would definitely recommend them to work on your vehicle. Great team and decent prices for their work.

Came in after a previous mechanic failed me. From the moment I called I knew I was in good hands. They addressed all my concerns and provided an estimate that included pictures. Great fast service. Great prices. Had an oil change and tire rotation. They recommended to change my air cabin and engine filter and I also needed to consider getting my back breaks done. No pressure on adding on services. They were very friendly and caring people.

Merlin has always taken care of my car. I have never felt I was pushed with any service, and anything that was flagged on my car during inspection, was thoroughly explained. They have been taking care of my cars for years, and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Had to get changed in a car last minute, they recommend appointments so I was able to make one for same day in a few hours. Dropped off car. Car was almost done when I got back when they said it would be done. Great price.

My son was home over the Thanksgiving weekend and needed a new headlight before he returned. They found time to fit us in last minute to get a new headlight installed quickly. They did a great job.

I really like the service here. The pricing is fair and I am able to set up an appointment in a timely manner. Another thing I like about this store is that if the mechanic notices any issues upon servicing the vehicle they will make a note of it and let you know. Obviously the choice is up to you if you want to decline or accept, but they tell upfront what the price will be and about how long it may take for parts to arrive if they don't already have them on hand. The manager Kevin is very helpful and knowledgeable. There are a couple other Merlin shops closer to me, but I drive about 50 minutes to this specific one, because I really like the service.

I have been using the Merlin in Cary for several years now. They always work to solve any problems with my vehicles, have fair prices, stand behind their work and are trustworthy.

Great service as always. Only complaint is where is the courtesy coffee! Too cold to walk to Starbucks. Other than that, highly recommend!
