Burger King

11-10-23, I went through the drive through of the Burger King on Elm in Mchenry, Illinois. I was dreading the experience, but I was hungry and I needed to eat SOMETHING before my two hour drive home. The service was amazing, the food was the freshest Burger King I’ve had since the 90’s. I almost went inside to tell the manager and their employees how amazing they were, but I thought this post would be more impactful. I haven’t eaten at a Burger King in over 15 years, but I won’t miss the opportunity when I’m in McHenry. Thank you so much!

My good friend Maureen threw a party here for her granddaughter’s 9th birthday a few weeks ago and the owner/manager Selena went above and beyond to make her day special! She set up tables and extra crowns. There was Halloween coloring sheets for the kids and she made ordering meals and getting drinks for a party of 13 easy!

Location.is good. Price was fair. Food was hot, fresh and tasted good. Will go back when passing through.

A little cramped on dining space, but other than that a typical BK. Friendly counter staff.
Dining room was heated unlike the BK on North Richmond Road.

This is honestly the first BKC I've been to because of their Whopper offer. I'm impressed, a $1 Whopper is far superior to McDonald's inferior $1 burgers.

I also love the drinks machine being top of the class, having many more Coke products than other fast food places, including my favorite Vanilla Coke in normal AND zero option. That's simply mind blowing!

Staff is friendly as usual and no complaints there. Restaurant is clean and an overall 5 star experience.

Food was hot and fresh. Staff was on top of everything. This location at this time seems to be run very well. Impressed.

While I can't speak for the day shift, the night crew is always totally on it. That Tyler kid never skips a beat and my food is always made well. Definitely my favorite location in the area. 👍👍

We literally had to institutionalize my grandmother because she became so addicted to the Rodeo Burgers here. I'm pretty sure she had to wear a straight jacket and everything

Was wonderful. I am anemic and a real red meat whopper can make me feel so much better and cheaper then steaks or veggies,u fortunately veggies are very expensive I repeat veggies are so expensive

Most underrated burger joint ever. There’s always been some odd hate for burger king. Some wagon riding trend i suppose but I will always be on BK’s side. Burgers have the best flavor out of any other fast food burger joint. Sizes of the burgers are perfect. Love their limited edition/ special sandwiches that they release every once in awhile. Staff has always been very friendly and helpful. Never had a problem with these folks. Definitely recommend if you’re on the go!

The workers were wonderful, the food was hot and fresh and the service was great. We had trouble ordering in the app with a coupon/promo and the woman took care of us, which we greatly appreciated as they have nothing to do with issues in the app and didn't have to honor the code that was in-app only. We had a great experience and highly recommend this location.

Kids play pace does not seem that clean at all. And the staff at the drive thru is not that friendly

Food is good. Counter help pleasant and professional. Much better than Wendy's

My son and I personally like BK's burgers and chicken sandwiches better than McDonald's. The staff is pretty nice and they usually get everything in the first shot. For the first time ever, they forgot my sandwich I always check my order before i leave, as i did this time, but not thoroughly. When i got home is when i noticed my sandwich missing. I called and they were very nice and i asked if id return or keep it in the books for next time. I returned through the drive through. The manager gave my my sandwich, apologized and threw in a lrg fry and 2 cookies. That was very nice. They dont do that at McDonald's.

this place had everything we wanted. customer service was great too! we went to the burger king down on richmond rd first and they were out of burger patties so we went to this one afterwords and they werent out of anything. also their food was fresh

Loved the staff, loved management. This place was very clean including the bathroom. Also they've recently rehabbed their children's place so we love it!
