Downeast Toyota Rental

Service in here is courteous and the car was in excellent condition. During the late fall and winter, it costs only $64 plus 10% sales tax to rent a Toyota Corolla for one day. There are no extra fees, no fine print, and no nonsense. They have a free shuttle that will drive you to and from the rental center. When I scheduled one, it didn’t show up, but oh well. Still an excellent car rental place.

Back in the day, I rented many vehicles @ Downeast Toyota Rental. As I remember, they always treated me fairly, even when there were problems that beyond anyone's control. I found myself back in the area recently and rented a car here, I will update with the experience soon.

We had a wonderful experience renting a van for my family from Downeast Toyota for our recent trip to Maine! They picked us up at the airport and shuttled us to their office to pick up the van. When we dropped it off they had another shuttle that took us back to the airport. Very friendly staff and an overall great experience working with them!

We had an awful experience at the airport car rentals and called Taylor at down east, he saved the day! They sent a shuttle to pick us up from the airport and beat our rate we had. Simple process! It was so easy and we had a great experience. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about Downeast Toyota Rental. My husband and I visited Maine in June of 2021, and needed to rent a car during our stay. We personally worked with Taylor, who got us a great car at an incredible price. He was wonderful to work with, and got us everything we needed. We also worked with Becky who went above and beyond to help us out when we had an issue with our flight. We will never forget her generosity, positivity, and willingness to assist us getting to/from the Bangor Airport. We are grateful for both Taylor and Becky who made our time in Maine run as smoothly as possible. We HIGHLY recommend Downeast Toyota!

We had the BEST service when we arrived in Maine! Becky picked us up from the airport and was super friendly and helpful in giving us some ideas of things to do and places to eat. Taylor was super friendly and helpful with getting us set up with our rental. These folks exemplify what Maine friendly mean! SO happy I found this place!!!

These folks are top notch . Kind thorough and helpful keeps me coming back when we do our road trips. They explain the functions of the car which is very helpful. The ladies at Downeast Rental have always been so helpful when I rent here. I've mainly rented vehicles for weekend road trips, and so enjoy driving the latest sport model Toyotas when I get away.

Lowest car rental in 04401. Cars are new and clean. You do how ever have too give them a $200.00 deposit for any damage cause by you and if you smoke in the car they have bloodhounds who will be sniffing for smoking in the car!

I rented a 2016 Toyota Yaris for the weekend to go to New Hampshire. I loved everything about this car. The whole weekend I only put $45 in gas traveling from Brewer and hundreds of miles around southern Maine and New Hampshire. Would definitely recommended there friendly staff and rates that cannot be turned down 😁

Downeast Rental is the best. I rent from them every 6 months and they always take very good care of me.
