Awesome shop with all the whitewater knowledge needed! These guys helped me outfit my first boat, years ago, and have been an awesome local resource as I continue to grow my gear collection. They do top-notch professional repairs too!

So grateful for this shop and the fine gentlemen that work there. True asset for our city. Only place around here to find river gear but that doesn’t mean they gouge you. Prices are competitive and the customer service is great. Thanks again for existing and I hope you never go away

Great store that is very well stocked with hard to find quality gear. I was very well taken care of. They had my boat patched and back to me super fast. I also had a great conversation with one of the owners about the pro's and con's of different raft options that was very helpful to me. I definitely would recommend visiting their store.

The best and only whitewater store in the Wasatch front. Anthony helped me measure my new AIRE and order a custom DRE frame. Store is stocked with all the essentials you'll need for your next trip and staff is super knowledgeable. They also did an awesome job repairing my NRS e-130, patch looks very clean!

Utah Whitewater Gear is the best paddle shop in the state. They were able to assisst me with a last minute order for a Yampa trip a day before launching. I’d highly recommend, THANKS AGAIN!

I just had the BEST experience with this company. I had a SUP that needed a repair. They quoted me a 3 week lead time and then finished much sooner. They sent me a text to say it was ready and the guy offered to carry it out to my car for me. Staff were all very kind and friendly! Definitely has a family owned feel.

I love this store. I most recently went in to get a new San Juan River map after discovering that mine was published in 1991 and sure enough, they had the new one in stock. The shelves are stocked with all kinds of fascinating things to make your river trip even more delightful. I love being able to look at things in person instead of trying to guess what they are like from vague online descriptions. The staff is knowledgable and helpful. It's absolutely great to have a store like this nearby.

The store looks small, but they pack just about everything you could possibly need in there. I was looking for something specific, was nowhere on the shelves, but when I asked about it the owner went out back for about 2 minutes and came back with exactly what I needed. I drove an hour to pick up a few items there rather than order it online, super helpful, Nice to support local shops. Well done Utah Whitewater...

These guys were beyond amazing and helpful in helping my husband and I solve a raft frame problem. They went above and beyond! Every time I’ve been in there they are super helpful in finding the right sizes too! I can’t recommend enough.

Absolutely love this place. Very new to getting out on the river, and these guys made renting extremely comfortable and easy. They helped with any questions I asked. Excellent selection of water gear, and now definitely my go-to place to buy any water gear. Beats buying online any day.

Great place for most of your rafting gear. I order things through them also so that it is not setting at my door for porch pirates. Plus allows willing to help locals

These guys are the best at getting you set up and outfitted for rafting, even to a newbie (years ago now.) They have helped me as I’ve become more experienced too.
Selection is great and they won’t talk you into something that doesn’t work good as they are constantly out trying all the gear. So glad we have such a good white water shop in Salt Lake. It’s much better than many I’ve seen in so called white water towns.

Never knew this place existed. It's not noticeable from the street and there's practically no visible signage unless you're looking for it. The service was good tho and they have good products. Good selection of gear. I rented a tandem ducky and had a fun weekend on the Weber with my partner.

I have been trying for a few months to find somewhere to repair my paddleboard. I was recommended to these guys and so happy i was! I had four holes in my paddleboard and they let me know that might take some time to repair (Which would cost more). When i picked it up they only charged me for the minimum time of work when they could have charged me for much more. I appreciate honesty and not taking advantage of a customer! It has worked great so far. Awesome company and cool guys.

UWG is a great store with good people who go out of their way to get you need for the river.

Anthony rented us equipment for rafting the Green and Colorado, coming in just to help us out for renting and return. Very kind, generous, knowledgeable, and went more than the extra mile to make sure we had a great time. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

This place is the best! I've had some gaskets replaced on a dry suit and the work was perfect. They're always happy to see you and genuinely interested in your trips. My favorite river shop.
