Maid-Rite

When I lived in California, Maid-Rite was on my personal restaurant bucket list. Now living in Illinois, I am able to check some restaurants off the list!

Nice diner atmosphere. Friendly staff. The Cheese-Rite was EXCELLENT, better than I expected, but it has less meat than I saw in restaurant shows and I didn't need a spoon to eat the excess meat. Fries were good.

I wish they offered delivery!

They were very busy and had new employees but still handle everything fast and professionally. The food was hot and served as ordered. Nice varity in the atmosphere.

I absolutely love this maid-rite! always has very good service and the wait staff is very nice and friendly. The foods always made in a timely manner and is very good!

This was my favorite stop on a long road trip. The sandwiches are so moist and tender with perfectly blended spices and onions that if your older, you might remember eating at Grandmas in the 60’s. I wish they would spread out and open a branch here. The decorations are Pepsi mostly and RT66. We sat and then got up to peruse the walls. Lived it! The staff are sweet and right on top of your needs and they were happy!! My kinda place. Enjoy and get the chicken car filled with nuggets that are real chicken!

I appreciate the consistency in food here. The burgers are always good. The shakes are great. Onion rings fried perfectly. A great lunch stop at a good price.

Just recently discovered this gem for breakfast, and it reminds me so much of my favorite diner in California that it made me a little homesick. But that's a good thing! Ordered eggs over-medium with bacon, hash browns, and sourdough toast, and everything was cooked to perfection. My only criticism would be that the coffee was very weak, so I may swing by McDonald's and bring my own next time.

Was a great visit, Amber is a sweetheart. Food was great, our waitress was AMAZING. We will definitely be back.

I have literally not been to a Maid-Rite burger for 44 years. The last one I remember going to was in Hammond Indiana. Thete's just something about those loose meat burgers and the crispy fries and those wonderful hand-dipped shakes. I ended up having to come here for a job and was startled to see the Maid-Rite sign because I thought they had all gone out of business. Now that I know they have not I will be back. A very pleasing discovery for a cold November afternoon. Attentive wait staff as well made the visit memorable.

Brisket cheeser. Delicious. Waitress Amber friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. Couldnt ask for better service

This is a great place to grab a loose meat sandwich with mustard only. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was very retro. The day we went the Ir conditioning was out so that is the only knock I had but I ordered a shake and the waitress brought it to me in the cold aluminum container she made it in so it would stay colder longer. Great customer service.

Everything was good. The store is a bit run down, but service and food were perfect. It was clean.

Yes you can dine inside and way more than 6ft seating. Very clean, friendly, covid compliant. They use condiment packs to prevent touching shakers and bottles. Super great maid rites! Not greasy at all. Tender ground beef, nice sized sandwiches. They also offer breakfast items. Hashbrowns nice and crispy with my Maid Rite sandwich. Highly recommend this particular location. Haven't tried any other Quad Cities locations.
