Had Linguine and it was amazing. They run a happy hour from 4pm to 6pm in bar area only. Great place to come with a family or on a date. Plenty of dishes can be made gluten free or vegetarian, and they make their own gluten free and vegan pasta.
Service was great too, Alicia was friendly and knowledgeable. We also got to meet few other servers and bartenders, and they all seemed to know their stuff. Definitely will be back!

We had a great time. Everything was prepared with care and tasted light but also robust. The chef has vision. So did the bartender.

We had an early dinner at 40 paper. We were greeted and seated promply.
We started with glasses of Pinot Noir and shared carrot Thai soup with coconut. It was delicious. They also provided regular and gluten-free bread for the table.
For dinner, I had the Prosciutto flat bread. Very nice. My wife had Bolognese with gluten-free pasta that they make in-house. She was very pleased.
For dessert, we had cappuccinos and shared a tiramisu. Excellent.
Overall, it was great service by the staff, excellent food, and a pleasant atmosphere. We will go back.

A really delightful dinner! I gotta be honest... Don't really see where the bad reviews come from. The food was delicious, the drinks were great, the atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. If we lived around here, we would definitely come back!

So great for someone who has a sensitivity to gluten. They make fresh GF breads and pastas in house. Not the typical corn based penne you get at other restaurants. If you want a linguini dish made GF they have GF pasta, same with gnocchi, etc. such a treat! They were so busy, but fit us in and we really enjoyed our evening. Highly recommend.

Great dinner in a great atmosphere. Beer and wine selection was good, menu was unique but not super weird, wait staff was friendly and fast. We enjoyed our meal and hung around for dessert and conversation. Excellent date night.

Excellent! We were seated at a quiet corner table. Our server, the bar manager, was top-notch and provided excellent customer service. The menu is limited but the offerings are incredible. The vibe is chic but feels casual. I recommend visiting for a great, casual dependable experience. Dessert is delicious too!
PS: When you walk in, make sure you walk all the way to the hostess stand on the wall in front of you. The two people sitting near the door to the left are bar patrons 🤭

What a find!!...maybe I shouldn't say so because they may get too busy to get in! High-quality well-prepared dishes with many gluten free options! They make their own gluten free bread! Whether your picky in general or have food intolerances they exceed expectations!

Delicious duck egg pasta with a creamy sauce, mocktails that didn't taste like an after thought, flat bread oval pizzas, and a tender grilled octopus.

Oh my word the food was sooo good. I got the lamb shank and literally couldn't get enough of it. It melted in your mouth it was so tender. The atmosphere is very cozy and the staff was very kind and personable. Highly highly recommend going here.

Went here because it was included in a voucher for the inn we stayed at. This place was amazing! Never had such delicious food before! Rad was our waiter and he went above and beyond! We ordered potatoes for a small plate and we each got the Bolognese for a large plate. Superb food. We even decided to get some dessert as well. I ordered a tiramisu and my girlfriend got the chocolate cake. Everything was delicious! We even ordered potatoes to go it was so good. Will definitely come back again!

I can't believe I had never been to 40 Paper before last night. The focaccia they brought out first was the best I've ever had, so I knew I was in for a good meal. The mussels were super fresh and perfectly cooked, and the spaghetti nero was a delicious mix of flavors.

The ambiance in 40 Paper was cozy, the service was fantastic and they were playing my favorite tunes from Radiohead and The Pixies, yet not loudly enough that my parents noticed, or were bothered by it. While my party enjoyed apps and big entrees, it would also be a great place to grab drinks and split small plates or flatbread with friends too. It was definitely worth venturing out on a dark and cold night!

Really amazing food! The Gnocchi and home-made Pappardelle were both really good and authentic. Cocktail happy hour (-40% off) is awesome!
