A cute small used bookstore on the second floor.

This gem of a book shop was exactly what my dad and I were hoping for when we ran out of reading material on vacation. Stacks to the ceiling, something for everyone, great for browsing. Was wonderful to find open during the off-season.

It's the cutest little bookstore wedged in between two average-sized businesses so it's very easy to walk by repeatedly & never notice it. But it's unique & worth a visit.

This is the kind of book store you see in movies or read about in stories, but don’t think it actually exists. We walked in out of curiosity, not intending to buy books, and walked out with four. Amazing place with a little bit of everything.

Stone Soup has been here in Camden for ever it is the real deal. The owner has an amazing recollection of inventory and is an extraordinary fellow. The pictures speak for themselves. If you're on vacation, make this a destination in Maine. Excellent collection of Maine books. However it is upstairs and plan on spending some time browsing for every book you didn't know that you wanted and needed.

Love this store! Yes - be aware that they only take cash-but if you are a dedicated bookworm and lover of used books -are able to get up a flight of stairs - the wonderful, knowledgable owner will help you find some gems! I am not in the area often - but when I am -I make sure to visit!

This place is awesome. Jammed full of books so I asked for assistance and the owner knew exactly where the books were in a place that would have given Dewey decimal a stroke

Owner was kind, knows his inventory and has a ton of books. Would definitely recommend it!
