Tait's Bill of Fare

Stopped in for lunch. What a great surprise! The food was very good. I had caponata, which was very tasty. The specials all sounded delicious but I went with a basil chicken salad on toasted wheat. It was anything but ordinary. I intended to take half home for later but it was so good that, though stuffed, I kept eating! My server, Dee, was friendly and knew her menu well. My food was prepared fresh and served quickly. I’ll be back for supper soon.

I've been coming to Tait's pretty much since they opened, and it's just a wonderful menu, well-executed and served by a friendly, attentive staff. The atmosphere is roomy and cozy. If you're near Oscoda (or even if it's a bit of a pilgrimage), it's definitely worth a visit for lunch or dinner. I'll always come back to Tait's.

Went there tonight for anniversary. It was excellent! Millennium soup (OMG delish), salads excellent and main courses - chicken especiale and pasta were soo good! Our waiter went above and beyond. Mr. Tait came out to make sure everything was good. Even got free dessert for anniversary! Definitely recommend!!!

Was our first time there and we will for sure be back. The meal was exquisite! Our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable, and very sweet. I've lived in this area a long time and am so sad we didn't make it there sooner! Wouldve taken food photos, but we were too excited to see if it tasted as amazing as it looked and we were NOT disappointed! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We went for the dimner service :)

🥳Had an amazing New Years Eve Dinner at Tait's Bill of Fare. Just perfect 😘🤌. Highlights (they were hard to narrow down tbh): The welcoming ambiance created with the gorgeous tree and warmth in the dining room, the sweet butter melting on crusty bread, the swift and friendly smiles of the smooth staff, and I'm not forgetting the sinfully captivating butterscotch cheesecake at the end of a delicious and fulfilling meal. Above all that was given tonight, the most precious is that feeling you get being a part of a small community in a cozy meeting place. A home away from home. This is now our tradition. Spectacular night Tait's! Bravo! 👏

Absolutely delicious food and beautiful atmosphere. Server was was knowledgeable and helpful with explaining their wonderful made to order food dishes. The crab soup was fantastic! Will definitely come again and highly recommend.

Went to Tates last night for the first time. So our loss for not going sooner. Everything was great, food, service, atmosphere. We will definitely not wait to go back

Top notch dining on Oscoda. All of our dishes we tasty and well prepared. Highly recommended.

Had our Christmas work party food was superb I've lived most my life in oscoda never ate there before they had a piano player for entertainment as if my co workers weren't entertainment wasn't enough had a blast will definitely return

Great atmosphere and a welcoming staff make you feel appreciated for choosing their restaurant. The food we ordered was delicious. One of the food items we got was the hot, spicy chicken wings. They were exactly that and also had a nice crunch to them. If you like your wings hot and spicy, give those appetizers a go. You won’t be disappointed!

Had the blackened chicken alfredo and my wife had perch. Both were prepared perfectly and large portions. Waitress was joyful and very attentive. Had applecrisp cheesecake for dessert, it was fantastic! Another great dining experience at my favorite place in town.

11/5/22 update... STILL amazing! Apple crumble cheesecake to top off dinner of MahiMahi, and appetizer of Swiss onion Soup! Our bartender made the best club soda and lime wedge drinks, too! ;)

My friends and I had a girl's weekend so we did some shopping in Oscoda.
Tait's was our choice for lunch. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food was delicious, and I ordered the roast beef sandwich. No exaggeration: best sandwich I've ever eaten. The wait staff is wonderful.
Don't hesitate if you're looking for somewhere to eat

WOW! Who would have thought such a fantastic eatery in the town of Oscoda. Food and service were top shelf. Makes me want to come back to town, just to eat here.

All of the dinner was wonderfully prepared. Waitstaff is most pleasant .

Went in for lunch on Chrismas Eve. Waitress was very nice. They have great food and reasonable prices. Thank you for accomadating us Christmas customers!

One of the best meals I have had in a long time! Everything was prepared to perfection. I had the shrimp dinner and the portions were generous and satisfying.
