Dairy Queen Store

Free ice cream day - their opening day - how generous to the community. I did get a vanilla cone for early birthday treat for Regan - he will be 12 in June. He shared it.

This is not a year around location. It's a small resort area ice cream store with a little bit oh outdoor seating. It was their last day for the season and all was half off. They were super busy and knocking out orders in a timely fashion. We each got a banana split (2) and our bill was only $5.29! We will definitely go back next season.

we were throwing a pizza party and needed something to sweeten it up, their pizza themed ice cream cake was fabulous!!

So close to the lake beach we walked over. They have followed all of the 6ft rules for Gretchen's mandates. The girls were friendly that took our order, made our desserts and served us. We had fast service. Both of our Blizzards were fabulously delicious!! I have been wanting ice cream for 2 months and my Drumstick Blizzard did not disappoint.

Be careful right on corner of River Rd and US 23. New owners in 2018. Friendly employees, opens early in spring and closes after Labor Day. In walking distance to Lake Huron and nice walk up and down the streets in Oscoda with benches to sit plus. Picnic tables to sit at next to building or behind under the trees. UPDATE they now have ice cream cakes.

Service was awesome. Just about the only ice cream available in Oscoda now.

Everytime I go it's quality ice cream. The flavor is great, and it's perfect on a hot day, the line moves fast enough so you never waiting to long.

I'm from Texas, this is important. The first time I went to this Dairy Queen, I was hungry and looking for a Hunger Buster. They were rather amused and told me that Dairy Queen doesn't serve food. I was flabbergasted! Of course they do! We have them all over Texas and I've eaten at more than I can count. Either way, they specialize in ice cream only. Well, they do make a darn good Blizzard! It's a quaint little shop in a beautiful little town right in the beach Lake Huron.

Big Lucy was even offered an ice cream today! Nice friendly group of kids working at DQ this summer. Always enjoy stopping by.

My chocolate/vanilla swirl cone was perfect. Service was timely and the place was clean. Perfect spot for something refreshing when you're not on the lake.
