The Look

I have been going to The Look for many years. The staff and the products are wonderful, and I’ve loved every haircut I’ve received. Chrisann is my stylist and she’s the best. I also had my hair styled here for my wedding by Lisa and I couldn’t have been happier.

I went in cause of all the positive reviews I saw. So glad I did!!!! The receptionist was really friendly! I love that they even ask you for a bit of info on your hair if your a new client so they can recommend products to you to help with your concerns. My stylist was wonderful as well! I told her what I wanted for my cut and she walked me through something we could try and even made sure to a bit extra length in case I didnt like it and we could fix it!! By far one of the best salon experiences I have ever had!!!! I can't wait to go back again! :)

I have been getting my hair cut and colored here for many, many years. Always a great atmosphere and terrific stylists. I love the Look!

Been going to this shop for almost 4 years, 2 different stylist only after the first gal left.
I love this salon. The women are friendly and fun. The products are amazing on my hair. They even called me last appointment to let me know my appointment would be delayed 15 minutes because the client before, color was taking longer than planned. To me, this kind of courtesy cannot be bought! It also shows care by the stylist herself..... not rushing any of her clients but taking her time to make sure that her clients are happy and done right.

I have been going to the look for about 4 years now and I have never been disappointed with the service that I get. Very friendly stylists, friendly and warm atmosphere! I would recommend the look highly. I am always willing to try different things with my hair and I leave it up to my stylist to do what she thinks will look good on me. She has never failed me yet!! Love the place! Love the place!!

I love coming to The Look! I'm always greeted in a friendly, welcoming manner and offered a cup of tea or glass of water. My hairstylist, Trina, really knows my hair, and my personal style, and does everything she can to make sure that I am fully satisfied before I walk out the door. I've gotten several facials there too, and the experience is wonderful, I love Aveda products! I have no reservations about recommending The Look to anyone.

Im so satisfied with my experience! We had a fiasco when the dye tyrned my hair green but everything was fixed, Alyssa was so nice along with others working in the salon and my hair looks amazing! Alyssa worked hard to make sure i got what i wanted and the pruce was good too. Get your hair cut here!

I've been going to The Look for about 20 years now...and I've never been disappointed - not once. It's a nice, casual, friendly place. Once I was talking about a a technique with eyeliner while I was in foil waiting for color, and one of the girls came over and showed me how to do it! So nice!

I've gone long, short - blonde, dark... pretty much the whole spectrum and I've loved it every time.

Can't recommend them enough!

I had been box dying my hair red for 3 years straight and needed to go back to blonde on short notice. Ari saw me that day and did an amazing job of getting me to a two tone ash blonde. The prices were really reasonable and I had a great time getting it done. I just found my new salon!

I recently (and compulsively) tried to bleech my hair at home. From the barkest brown to platinum blond. I was trying to accomplish the ever so trendy gray hair. Needless to say my hair looked like something youd find in the bottom of a garbage can. Lol. But i went in to the look on plainfield and they fixed me right up!. I didnt think that getting their color put on my already damaged hair could actually make it feel healthier but it did... She evened out my blonde, added darker shadowed roots, and toned my hair to an ash. It looks sooo beautiful. I was so happy with my hair but there was still some damage that i dont think could have ever been repaired so about 2 weeks later i went in for a haircut.... A pretty dramatic one. I was really nervous. But i came in with a photo of exactly how i wanted it. Being someone who normally looks for the cheapest place to get a hair cut. Ive never been satisfied with my hair cuts. Until now. This was so worth it. I am in love with my hair. Highly recommended. Not to mention aveda is AWESOME.

When I walk into The Look, I am treated with attentive, pampering, professional care, no matter who the stylist is. When I walk out, I feel great about myself. That's why you go to a salon in the first place, right? :)

Gone here most of my life and it's always been great. I love Aveda products! I've gone to several stylists over the years, but I've never had a bad one.

This is my go-to salon when I’m visiting from NYC, the service is impeccable and the results are even better! I highly recommend Natasha who listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly what I wanted, couldn’t ask for a better experience! Hurry and book your appointment, you will thank me after 😁

I have been going to The Look since the 90's. I have always had wonderful stylists and they have a large selection of Aveda products. Whomever I had cutting my hair has always listened to what I want and has done just that. thank you

This is such a friendly salon. The stylists are all experienced and knowledgeable. You'll leave looking fabulous!
