Nick has a special thing going at Mangia!! The food and fun are superb!! It truly is an experience. This is one of our favorite places in Nashville. You have a 10 course meal that lets you take home your leftovers. Enough for 2 more meals!!! Awesome place.

This was by far THE BEST experience I have ever had with a meal before!!

To preference, I have a plethora of food allergens and I’m always scared to go out to eat at a new place.

I was able during the booking to list out all of my food allergies and upon arrival- the chef came and personally went over the menu (how he would be able to accommodate me )

The food was OUTSTANDING!!! I was able to feel like a normal person again going out to eat with friends.

The atmosphere was phenomenal. The dancing was so fun! I’m completely in love with everything about this establishment.

I can’t wait to come back and enjoy another fantastic meal!

You can feel the passion behind the owners joy for creating this place. I’d hate for you to miss out the sheer enjoyment this place creates - if you haven’t been here… YOU NEED TO!

Chef Nick- don’t forget me, I’ll be back

This was the closest to Italian in Nashville that we have found. Moved from DC recently and had been searching for an Italian restaurant. It was amazing.

We ate here tonight to celebrate my son's 21st birthday. We didn't really know what to expect but wow...what a great place! So inviting, great food and it felt like our own Italian family. Thanks for making the day so special for not only my son but for everyone that went with us.

We had a small group, visiting Nashville for a short work trip. We were looking for some good Italian food. We were welcomed into the restaurant, seated, and introduced to our server, Aiden. She was an absolute delight, asked if we have been there before, when we responded no, she explained that the cheese and bread is made in house & shared some recommendations for items on the menu. The general manager, Rachel, came over to make sure our server had taken care of us and shared that our server was only on her 3rd day and wanted to make sure everything was okay. Food was delicious, dessert was delicious, service was amazing. Staff was friendly, welcoming, personable, and the building was clean. Atmosphere was welcoming, the owner was present and interacting with customers (Nick I believe was his name)I cannot express enough how satisfied I was with the service we received tonight. I wish there was a family restaurant like this in MI!! 100000/10 recommend this restaurant.

Great family dinner event! Expensive, but we'll worth the memories! One of our group has alpha-gal, so he couldn't have any mammalian meat. The staff was great to bring him extra of a shrimp dish.

They cater exceptionally to gluten-free needs. The knowledgeable and attentive staff ensured a comfortable experience, providing reassurance and answering questions. Wow Mangia Wow! We live right around the corner and have been dying to try this so my birthday was a perfect excuse! A few things to consider
1. Be considerate and update your head count on your reservation. Space is limited and it is respectful
2. If you see a bad review about Rachel, it was from a “Karen”. Rachel has a fiery fierce attitude that is hilarious and refreshing. They are serving a large amount of people at once and she has it down to a silence. Take her recommendations! Especially on bottles of wine- I promise you won’t find a wine list at these low prices at any other restaurant. We asked for a Malbec and she said no- you want the 12 e Mezzo, and guess what? She was right! They literally treat you like family and Rachel is the “Fun Aunt” This goes for the whole staff!
3. Come HUNGRY!!! I can’t stress enough this is not the time to wear your new tight dress and spanxs! It says 6 courses but it might as well be 12 because of the options in each course. Don’t feel like you have to eat it all because they will box anything your group doesn’t finish! Also don’t be afraid to request on your reservation for dietary needs. They take this seriously!
4. Be ready to dance and laugh the night away! Yes dance! It’s actually much needed between courses or you may fall asleep.
All in all this is a fun experience I would recommend to anyone in Nashville. Not only are you supporting a small local business but they go above and beyond to make your night special and memorable! Just do it!

If you have never been to Mangia you are missing out. On weekdays-nights it’s a Resturaunt. On Friday and Saturday it’s an Italian dining experience. The menus on these nights are set and price fixed. Everything is delicious and prepared by Chef Nick Pelligrino.
Go hungry as it is several courses. After a year of quarantine it’s a great place to enjoy a wonderful meal and be silly! So much fun!!
For the dining experiences on weekends a reservation is required.

We were in Nashville for a business development workshop, the coordinator of the event had suggested to the group (I think there were 25 of us) that we make a reservation and have the MANGIA experience… I was overwhelmed with nostalgia as we sat down to partake in a full 10 course Italian feast, including dancing and singing!! The staff was amazing, the food was fantastic, I highly recommend this dining experience!!

One of the 5 best most beautiful meals I have enjoyed in my life. My girlfriend, like Chef Nick's wife is Gluten Free, and not by choice. Italian is usually not in our wheelhouse because it is such a struggle for her to find things to eat. That's why I was so excited to find Mangia. Everything in this amazing meal was available in a safe option for her. She didn't have to settle. At all. She even cried a little eating a crouton!
Six courses of amazing flavors all served like a big Italian family dinner. In the middle, the music comes up, and Chef comes out to lead the crowd in song and dance. Have to work off some of those calories and make room for more!
Chef and his wife were both lovely people. More joy in one place than I have ever seen in a restaurant. We'd go back to vIsit Nashville just for a trip to Mangia!

We had been wanting to try Mangia for quite a while, as my Mother-in-Law is gluten-free and it is hard to find good gluten free Italian food. We are so glad we went on Friday. Until a couple days before hand we didn’t know that it was a family-style feast, and it was a really great, fun experience. Just know if you go on Friday or Saturday you will be there 7-10 and you will be eating a lot.

The bread was wonderful and my MIL was so happy to have her own basket of gluten free bread. Her pasta was also all brought out separately. She couldn’t believe that it was only $65 for all the food. My favorites were the risotto balls, the homemade mozzerella and the citrus cream pasta. My husband says the cheese is the best he’s ever had. The dancing and music was a wonderful part of the evening. If you’re looking for something lively to do on a weekend night in nashville without doing the party scene, I totally recommend going to Mangia.

We originally ordered take out because of CoVid, but once we arrived they had patio seating and we switched it. Our server was awesome! The gluten free options were the main reason I picked Mangia for date night before everything was back on phase 3. I’m glad we decided to eat there because they were very knowledgeable about celiac and super welcoming and friendly. I ordered the GF pesto and had the Italian donuts. We also had the fried mozzarella to start, and the fresh mozzarella was so delicious. Definitely had plenty to take home for later. I have to go back and try more desserts and the pizza! So nice to have gluten free food that tastes good! Thank you, Mangia!!

Dear Mangia,
Thanks for the amazing meal last night and all the delicious dinners over this last 2020/2021. You have been crucial to my belly and state of mind through the pandemic and before that as well. Your food is fantastic and now that you have pizzas, in my humble opinion Nashville finally has a pizza place as well. You and the staff have always been awesome and make me feel at home. To anyone who lives in Nashville or is visiting, if you don't stop here you're missing out. Trust me! I had the mortadella pizza and wow! The crust was light, airy and crispy with fresh toppings, I felt like I was back in Italy eating a traditional Neopolitan Pizza. The ingredients were fresh and I could taste the whole pizza. And the best part, no crash after eating, I asked if they put any preservatives in their pizza dough and they said no, it's made from scratch, no sugar and... the dough is cold-fermented 48 hours before use which is supposed to be extremely beneficial for the gut health! Thanks Mangia, your restaurant is my Italian Restaurant Spirit Animal! Cent'anni!
