Great little place in town to get a coffee as you check out Hillsdale. Staff is also very nice and took care of us promptly.

Very nice brewery, restaurant in Hillsdale. Located in a historic building, there's plenty of space. That space includes a family room with bags and a place for kiddies to play.

Wow! The espresso is fantastic. Have a plain latte. So so good!! Smooth. No flavor or sweetener needed at all.

Best coffee shop in Hillsdale! They make their own syrups and use espresso from Hyperion coffee roasters in Ann Arbor! Their bagels are also an affordable snack option whenever you are in the mood. Lots of space to sit and mingle or work/study. I have yet to come for the alcoholic drinks but will be back sometime.

This place was a great place to duck in for an hour to catch up on work and get coffee and a scone.

The service was very friendly and the coffee and scones were very good.

Came in here early in the morning the staff was extremely helpful as were were there to visit the college in town and she was a recent graduate. Very generous with the cream cheese for our bagels and I think possibly the best latte I ever had. Made me wish I was a student there to see it in the evening for drinks.

Cute shop! Great coffee and tea lattes. They also have a bar for later at night. Kinda hard to find at first, they’re behind an apartment/office building, so not facing the road. Delicious pastries!

In town a few days for an event. Rough Draft was highly recommended and did not disappoint. We’ve visited once or twice a day. Great atmosphere, pleasant staff, and fantastic cocktails. The Kentucky Mule, Gin & Tonic, Double Bourbon Vanilla Latte, and (non-alcoholic) Hot Chocolate have been our go-to beverages this week.

Great coffee and pastries, dog friendly, helpful baristas. You can't ask for anything more. It is a wonderful place to meet with friends.

The best coffee!! Their lattes really are just so good. The atmosphere is great too, there's so much seating available and it all just has that perfect, classic-but-hip coffeehouse vibe. Baristas are always friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend!

Rough Draft is our favorite coffee shop in the Hillsdale area. Their coffee is always great, and they have a fantastic menu of seasonal and specialty drinks, in addition to some nice food items. Very comfortable vibe and plenty of space if you want to enjoy your coffee in house or outside in their patio options. Games, books, and comfortable seating. Located right on the trail for a nice stop during a walk or bike ride too! Highly recommend! 😃

A nice quiet spot for a night cap. Had a great bartender and the mood inside was just right for a nice end to the evening. Rotating selection of craft beer, selection of wines, a full bar, AND coffee and teas. A limited menu that is expanding and baked goods as well if you are in the mood for a yummy snack.

A unique place to visit here in Hillsdale, Wednesday night $3.00 a glass of wine and half a charcuterie board is $7.00 everyday loaded with cheeses meats crackers and nuts. The coffee,Tea ,Beer and Drinks are on point . But Wednesday wine night is the best bang for your buck ,This is where a lot of students from Hillsdale college come to study ,But it can be a mixed crowd. Plenty of seating space ,Large couches and cafe and bar seating . Large lounges where you can truly lounge about,Play board games utilize the wifi or checkout the art classes in an adjacent room. Nice and chill . In the summer there's outside seating. Located next to Hillsdale brewing company, under a converted industrial building apartment housing complex .

An amazing latte and even better service. It's a great place to write and do some winter break studying. Well decorated, lots of space, comfortable seats, and a lovely barista. Definitely recommend! Will be coming back as soon as I can. (Also, try the almond brown sugar latte, it's so good!) A great place for college students back home for the holidays.

My husband and I were visiting from North Carolina. Our son introduced us to Rough Draft. We love it, and visited everyday, sometimes twice a day during our stay! Try the Dark Mocha latte and the oatmeal cookies. Delicious! Friendly staff, prompt service, and a fun atmosphere!

I like this space. It isn't aggressively lit, has comfortable seating for groups or individuals. You can have open space or more intimate enclosure (by use of their other rooms). We enjoyed our coffee, very much, too. This isn't just another lame space with an espresso machine.
