Big Boy

Friendly servers, extremely attentive. Food was everything I expected, and precisely to my annoyingly specific order. Iris was my server and she took care of everything! My only complaint was that the booths are a little rickety, but this restaurant is older than I am, so I’m not hugely bothered by that. This felt like a trip into my childhood, and I needed that tonight.

There hasn't been a time, no matter where, that I've been to a Big Boy and was not happy. West Branch one definitely didn't disappoint! The food and prices were fantastic! We loved our server, Martha! She was extremely nice and attentive! In this day where the economy is shi z, I'm very grateful for Big Boy, with their affordable delicious meals, and ALWAYS such a wonderful staff!!!!

I love that there is still a Big Boys in existence. It was my mom's first job. I always loved the hot fudge cakes, and this one did not disappoint. My husband had a delicious breakfast and my son shared his pretzel bites.

So glad we stopped here. Our family group (8 of us) met here for lunch. We’ve all missed Big Boy, since so many have closed. We had excellent service. Everyone was pleased with their meals. Most of us had Big Boy burgers. 12 year old had chicken tenders- a very generous serving. Three of us had shakes and malts. A couple of bowls of soup. All very good.

My wife got the Slim Jim and I got the Big Boy and we split them.

My Bigboy burger was spot on perfection. From the toasted bun to the perfectly done patties and the sauce, everything was just fantastic.

The Slim Jim was also really good although I like mine pressed a little more to really get that ham.

The real win though was the service. The hostess and the servers were on point and always smiling. If asked for something it was there in just a few minutes.

Overall, a great experience that I personally would easily do again!!

A great restaurant for all ages. Yes I'm retired and still $6.99 for a lot of great food choices. Young families, I recommend chicken fingers and their fries👍.

Stopped this morning, first visit at this location. We were very lmpressd how clean, wait staff (katie) was polite and very helpful. Food was excellent. And the overall appearance of the building was great. Looking forward to our next visit.

Her name is Emily. 7 years ago I met my girlfriend and her amazing children when I worked at Big Boy in Petoskey. Just by chance tonight we were in West Branch looking for dinner. I spotted Big Boy and suggested we go to make a new memory. Emily caught our attention as soon as she approached our table. Smiling and playing along with our senses of humor, she was a shining example of what a server should be. The food was good, yes, but Emily truly made it one of our favorite memories to date. I had no choice but to tip her the bill for making our night unbelievably special. Thank you, Emily, for being outstanding and going above and beyond expectations.

The food is AMAZING! Love the country fried steak. Bummed they got rid of the potato pancakes though.

Hostess and waitress, we're very friendly and quick to serve. We had breakfast and the food was great.
We used a Groupon which made it better yet. We will definitely be going back.

This Big Boys has awesome food. I got the fish and chips. The fish was cooked just right and the fries were great nice and crispy not oily at all. I also had a chocolate shake and that was spot on as well.

Second time we have came to this Big Boys . And the food is so good. The waitress are so friendly with the sweet smiles on their faces. So now everytime we come to west branch we go here for are time to eat out . Great food great people . Highly recommend.

We stop at this Big Boy on our trips Up North. Food is consistent and good. Best part is the sevice.. great service every time

Went to BIG BOY, West Branch on 9/10/23 for breakfast looking forward to a buffet. However, when I found out it was $16.99 for the buffet i thought that was quite expensive. I opted to order from the menu instead. I suppose when you are the only breakfast buffet in town you can charge what you want. The food I ordered was mediocre at best. I was always a loyal customer at BIG BOY, West Branch, but I don't think I will frequent them quite as often.

Great food, staff is very friendly. Highly recommend dining in and sitting in the atrium area. They can accommodate large groups.

Fast friendly service got the breakfast buffet which was hot and fresh. Overall, a good time and a good meal

As usual we enjoyed our visit. I had the special Churito Waffles. It was more desert than breakfast. The service was very good and they modified the tables for distancing in a very nice way (no rediculous pressure).
