Came here during our last vacation Up NorthTM and had a great time!

Our server Melissa was very nice and quick with our orders and food; we hardly had to wait for anything! Hopefully you get seated at one of her tables if you stop by here :)

On top of that, all of our food was fresh and delicious and the house drinks were very tasty!

First time eating here. We came once in the spring, it was so busy that people were waiting outside. My husband won't wait anywhere, so we left. Came back this time at 10:30 am as to beat the church crowd. Met some friends for breakfast here. The food was very good. Everyone was pleased. Our friend said the pancakes were the best they've had anywhere. They were so big that hung over the edge of the plate. The prices were good. They have a gift shop area inside the lobby. They sell LOTS of t-shirts and hoodies. There is also a bar. They have a large parking lot with a Comfort Inn behind the restaurant. Also, there is an outlet mall in the lot next door.

First time here, staff was polite and courteous. Our food was delicious. And our server Ralph was fast and very polite.

We stopped here on our way home from up north. My chicken was so juicy and moist. We got the smothered ranch fries as an app to share and they were fantastic. Our server was amazing. They were understaffed and a bit crowded, but the staff was so nice and did everything in their power to make our dining experience a good one. I would definitely come back.

I've eaten here many times on my way to or from the northern Michigan area. The food is always fresh and tasty and the service is excellent. Prices are very reasonable! Yesterday, "Sam" served my husband and me. I had a 1/2 order of pot roast with a large piece of bread and butter, a cup of delicious bean and pork soup, a tossed salad with dressing and a cup of gravy for the pot roast... all for $12!! The gift shop is fun to peruse as well. The only down side is the constant slamming of the kitchen door which is annoying. Otherwise, I highly recommend!

Food was AWESOME but my main reason for why I'll be returning is our waitress Melissa. She hands down gave is some of the best customer service we've ever received, she made our entire night after spending the last 2 days moving and she was such a blast! Thanks for the killer food and great time!

Ok, this place gets a 5 star review regardless of a couple of order mistakes.
Staff was outstanding, including welcoming staff and server.
The atmosphere was welcoming and fun.
The food was 80%. Mistake on burgers having bacon when ordered without and being well done when ordered medium. But all good, it was abundant and tasty.

Service was great, food was good and served quickly. The turkey sandwich had enough meat to almost make 2 sandwiches very fresh bread. My burger was very good but bun hard.
Will definitely be back

I wanted a good and relaxing meal and I got it here.
The fish dinner was fabulous, with a great salad and mashed potatoes.
The service was wonderful, from the greeter to the waitress, who was prompt and very pleasant.
The prices are great, too.
I will definitely be going back.

Nice place..yes the do have vegi/gluten free options, but this is a difficult place to stay on your diet....I broke mine !!! But what I had was absolutely delicious....you can tell it is prepared by someone that cares. Our server JC is an awesome lady great sense of humor...very attentive with a great attitude. Which I appreciate as I like my money to go to people I like and respect...give this place try you wont be Disappointed.

Great restaurant. Staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. Stopped for a break while driving I75 and left with a full belly of good food and a smile on my face.

Great place to stop for a meal on your way to or from up north. The food is delicious, hot, and fulfilling. No complaints only complements. Patronize a local restaurant, and not a chain restaurant.

I’ve been here numerous times. If you are looking for a very nice meal at very fair prices, this is it! We have even hosted meetings here. Nice size rooms, good pricing, and restrooms right near by. Just what a Great place!

We stopped here on our way "up north", had to wait about 10min for a table and it was well worth the wait. Staff was warm and friendly and the food was good and very reasonably priced. I had the pork sandwich and my wife had the chili, which she said was almost as good as my chili. Victoria was our server and she was the best.

This is definitely somebody everybody should Experience. Love the log cabin look and the downhood. Cookin is excellent and the service was really really Good.

The only thing I would personally change is I would have them. Add home fries and Ice tea that is brewed.

Everything was great!!! The pulled pork sandwich the best!! Hubby had fish dinner so good….. great service, prices were very good too….we will definitely be back when we busy west branch in hopefully January

It’s a delightful tourist trap. I don’t know why you’d expect anything else up north, and for what it is, it’s excellent. The big axe burger is what you want, it’s impressively/comically large and actually pretty tasty.

Prices are very reasonable on both food and drink. Service has been excellent and wait times non existent every time I’ve been here.

What a great restaurant! I was genuinely surprised at just how great this place is. I've passed by for years, uncertain because it's attached to a hotel and gas station, but I'm so glad we visited. Great food, much of it completely homemade, delicious desert, and super nice staff. I'll definitely be going again!

The service and the food were both excellent! Nice selection of beers in bottle and on tap, other drinks, steaks and other meals. I had the chili cheeze fries which was AWESOME; and the black bean chili would have been great in a bowl or cup as well. The homemade blueberry pecan bread pudding was out of this world delicious. I also ordered to go for another meal: the sausage dish with the sautéed fresh vegetables on the side, and both were also excellent. Lorren and all the staff were wonderful, and I will make it a point to stop there in West Branch again.

Great sandwiches and soup, and Melissa served us well (even for a Monday!)
