Very very hard to find. But well worth the look! I'm disabled and walk with a cane, but the trails were well Warren and well-marked. I went with a friend and even with my disability was able to walk the trail in a little over an hour. What was really surprising was halfway through the walk is a bench built by the Boy Scouts by to bat houses! The bench is well placed as it gives you a nice chance to catch your breath and enjoy nature.
The only thing that would have made the experience better is as a newcomer it would have been nice to know that the trail circled around and came back out where it started. We weren't sure if we needed to turn around and come back or continue going. Being disabled this would have been very helpful information.
Besides that the walk was very very enjoyable. We went the first week of October and got to see a lot of unusual mushrooms. Colors I've never seen before. Also with the well-worn track we were able to see animal prints and follow them.

This trail is a hidden treasure! Just under a mile, at 0.9 miles, Kuker-van Til Nature Preserve is a superb trail loop. The entrance to the trail is well-hidden! And unless you are looking for it, you would never know it existed at all. To find it, look for a green and tan sign, just past the shoulder on the north side of the road. To park your car, you can either pull over to the shoulder, or add another half mile to your hike and park at Winstrom Park. Because it's so hidden, there are no people here! None! Just you, God, and nature. Which, after the hustle and bustle of Holland city life, can be quite refreshing and superlative!

Great place right outside of Holland and close to Lake Michigan for a leisurely walk in the woods. Hard to find but worth the effort! Even with my difficulty walking (severe back problems and walk with a cane) it only took about an hour to walk through. There are a few hills to go up and down but they are rather easy. The trail is very well marked with paint dots on trees. At about the halfway point there is a bench built by the Boy Scouts and 2 bat houses. Great for tree/mushroom/flower photography and identification, bird calls and viewing, and animal track identification. Need to park alongside Felch Street and not much room. Make sure that you are looking on the North side of the road to see the sign. It is parallel to the woods and hard to see from the road if you are not looking. But very much worth the effort!!

Nice simple hike with young kids. Did have to park at a nearby park and walk to the nature preserve, probably doubled the distance because of this. Very pretty and would do it again in the spring! Well marked with blue dots so even in the snow we had no problem finding our way.

Awesome little spot. This is a Nature Preserve, not a "meant-for-the-masses-hiking-trail." There is not a parking area and the trail isn't the best laid out, this seems to make it better. Beautiful.

This park is amazing! It's well-maintained and secluded, so it's very quiet and clean. It feels like you're out in the middle of the forest! Good for walking, running, or hiking. 4 stars because it is very difficult to find, and there's no parking, but I think that this increases the appeal😁

No designated parking (that I can see in the snow), but space enough to pull off the side of the road. LOVELY little woods. Plenty of critter tracks for the curious. Well marked trail. No map, but a single loop is easy to find.

Great little nature walk for the kids. Not too long and lots of shade. Park on the side of the road to enter.
