Alfano's Pub and Ristorante

First time here. We really enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere was great, loud enough, but not so loud that you couldn't talk comfortably. We split the burrito, it was delicious! Our server, Sydney, was fun and knowledgeable. We'll definitely be back!

The food was amazing, the prices are great, and the atmosphere in the bar and the restaurant sides were both beautiful! The toppings on the pizza were very generous. The chicken Parmigiano was delicious! The Italian sausage soup was better than anything I've ever had at the olive chain place by a mile! They have a separate takeout area and they also have a sit down family area and a bar atmosphere (which is also family friendly because they have bar seating and booths) this was my first visit so I had to share how impressed I was. Sorry my food was half eaten in the photos, I was not planning on reviewing but it was too good not to share. The canoli was next level!!!

My husband and I just moved to the area and I’m so glad we found this little gem of a place! Growing up in the Chicagoland area, I have missed places like these. Mom and pop pizza places are always so much better than chains. We ordered take out but I was super impressed. I’m gluten free and finding a gluten free pizza that keeps its integrity is often difficult. The crust was delicious and they really lay the topping on thick. Can’t beat the price either… $14 for a 3 topping pizza? Fantastic! We will definitely order here again and check out the inside dining at some point as well!

We had a late lunch/ early dinner on Friday with our son while we visited him in Grand Rapids. We enjoyed burgers and the brisket sandwich. The meat was super delicious! We will dine there on our next visit for sure! The service was excellent!

We had fun listening to the locals at the bar laughing it up while we ate a half veggie half meat lovers pizza.

Great little spot to dine on a Sunday afternoon!!

We had dinner for 6 on the Sunday before Labor Day. We were seated immediately. Our server was fabulous. And the food was perfect. We had the pizza pinwheels for an appetizer, and one Alfredo Pizza and a Meat Lovers pizza. Two 14" pizzas and we had leftovers. The crust was perfect, and that's saying a lot for me. My 75yo mom even commented on it and took a menu with her so she can order takeout later. That is a major compliment.

The cheesy breadsticks were the best we have ever had, with crisp baked underneath and thick cheese you could actually taste. Awesome!! Most dishes reasonably priced. Had a sub sandwich/grinder and the baked bun was perfect, good amount of meat. Only improvement would have been to bake it longer so meat and cheese would be warmer. Great service, clean and authentic Italian! Will be back!

I cannot stress enough how much of a gem this restaurant is. They were able to accommodate several requests made by my picky kids who all have to have pizza made a different way, and the verdict? “AMAZING! Better than excellent!”
Personally I had the burger, and it was without a doubt the finest prepared hamburger I had ever eaten. The beef was freshly ground and of extremely high quality. I order my burgers medium rare and the chefs absolutely nailed it! They are constantly remodeling and upgrading their facility, and it is a very pleasant environment in the dining room. The sports bar looks exactly as a sports bar should, and I’ve made a mental note to return for that side of the experience (I live 2.5 hours away). I’ve also already decided that I would be ordering the ravioli next time, as they make it entirely from scratch there in house. Trust me, you just can’t go wrong here. There is obviously a ton of talent going on in that kitchen.

We have had takeout multiple times from Alfano's and have never had an issue. There is a separate entrance and area for takeout orders which is great. The food has always been ready on time even on a busy weekend.

Would definitely recommend the Sobie Meat Pizza, it's been our favorite menu item we've tried so far, but all the food has been delicious. Great local spot for anyone looking for takeout or delivery.

It is a pub, that’s the only reason I rated 4 for atmosphere. Perhaps because of a previous complaint, all the tables in the pub have small signs that say “please see host stand to be seated.“ We went to the host stand and we’re seated immediately. We had fantastic service, and the food was wonderful. Highly highly recommend.

Good food for a good price. The waitress (chelsea) was awesome and amazing. Great service.

People say you shouldn't give a restaurant a 5 star rating. This was a five star experience, great food and service, clean. Would definitely recommend.

My family and I happened upon this gem. We had a very professional server, Auna, who gave us excellent service. Both the pasta my wife ordered and the pizza I shared with the kids were delicious. A tad pricey, but I’d say worth it. We are already planning our return trip.
