Thousand Trails St. Clair

Have had a perfect week here in spite of the weather. Opted to stay an extra day, and the staff handled it quickly and without any fuss. Loved it.

They do offer cabins and park models as well as camper spaces and tent sites. Pet friendly. Easily walkable roads, great for bikes. Lots of gold carts in use. Pool is lovely. Quite a few annual and seasonal, but these are very well kept.

This place has an awesome atmosphere with a mix of cabins and RV spaces. The trails are nice, the games, pool and staff. the cabin we rented was awesome. We are already planning our next trip here for next summer!

Had an amazing weekend at St Clair,LaborDay. All amenities were great, team is amazing and we will be back for Halloween!

Our family of 5 stayed here for 8 days. Our kids are 8,11, and 13. Our site was a fairly good size back in site. We are a 35 ft. Class A. The check in was easy and they guided us to our site. My son helped me back in and it was easy. We had full hookups, 30 amp. We were mixed in with seasonal owners but they were all very kind and helpful. The pool was nice as was the arcade and store. Our site was very shaded. We were close to Port Huron and about an hour away from Dearborn. It was a great place to be able to sight-see in the city and relax. Close to the freeway but forgot it was so close. Mary in the office was very helpful. Highly recommend.

What a difference a park
manager makes. Three years ago we came to this park. It was so bad I took pictures and sent them to corporate. They responded. This park is now clean, well run and has been a joy to stay at. The staff is responsive and actually very nice. I am impressed with the changes. The activities are one of the best I have seen in the Thousand Trails park system. Kuddos to Corporate to puting some money into this park and hiring such a competent manager.

Stayed here over the weekend In Rustic Cabin #47. Staff was friendly and accomodating. The maintenance had not gotten to the cabin yet to rake and before we could finish unpacking there was a staff member there cleaning them up and making sure it was nice.

The Cabin was cleaned and there was a nice binder on the table to inform you of local places, and of the parks events for the week.

We purchased wood from a gentlemen driving around and we got a great deal! 20 bucks and he gave us more wood then we needed for the whole weekend. Best deal I've gotten while camping and buying firewood.

I was hesitant on the bathrooms because of some of the other reviews but honestly the ones I went into by the rustic cabins were very nice.

No pool yet as they stated they will be getting a new one. You can tell they are really trying to improve the park and make it nice for everyone. I was fairly impressed and will intend on going back in the fall. I personally don't like to camp when it's fully packed and you can tell this place will be busy in the summer.

I would definitely recommend this campground and I am glad I checked it out and didn't just go by the reviews.

Staff are friendly, grounds are kept nicely, they have lots of summer activities for the kids and bands/events for the adults. Close to the water for fishing and restaurants if you don't feel like cooking. We love it there.

Visited friends staying here, what a beautiful park. They have some great events on the weekends as well. Ill be back for a camping weekend myself.

This camp ground was amazing. We brought our cub scout pack for the weekend and had a blast. We had 2 campsites that fit all of our families perfectly along with a canopy tent for our supplies. The boys had a blast at the pool which has a nice section just for the littles. The willy Wonka weekend activities were planned perfectly. I would go back to this campground anytime.

We keep our camper here. It's a nice, quiet place and kid and pet friendly. They have a beautiful pool and all kinds of activities for all ages on the weekends. It's close to shopping, beaches, and Canada.

I basically stay there the last 2 months. Had a great time and met good people. The staff is nice. I had some issues come up and the staff helped me out. A park that doesn't have electrical problems!! The water quality is not great. But other than that I'm looking forward to coming back next year.

This campground is very quiet even when the annuals are here. I will be back at reopening next year. Hopefully the border will be more accessible. I have fell in love with Michigan. It calls my soul. Also this campground has so much entertainment on the weekends. Love it. Dont wanta leave next week but knowing ŵe will be back gives me peace. Oh and you get to meet bogfoot💕

First time for us at this campground. Camped here for 4 days and came home today. Husband and I just wanted to get away and relax, this campground was perfect for us. It was quiet and our spot was nice and shady. RV's weren't crammed in, and everyone had plenty of space around them. Staff was nice and very helpful, as we were trying to get our RV backed in, one of the staff came by to check on us and helped me with directing my husband in to our spot, We'll be going back to this campground again.

Great camp ground for us because it's only 20 mins down the road. The store is small but they have a very big and recently refinished pool along with a couple playgrounds, shuffle board, putt putt golf, horse shoe pits and a basketball court. They have a couple dump stations. My only real complaint it how close to I-94 they are.

This is a nice rv resort. Brand new large pool, friendly staff, ice on site, firewood 1 mile away.

The data / internet is very weak. Verizon only gets 1 bar of 4G speeds. Other providers get between 1-3 bars from the people I asked. They have wifi in front office but you will need to be no less than 10 feet from the building to connect even if you have a wifi extender. The bathrooms need updating but they are clean.

There are a lot of trees that provide shade for your trailer. 20, 30 and 50 amp set ups. A beautiful creek and a hiking path that leads to it. Not too many bugs here in July.

I enjoyed my stay and will come again.

We love this place. The amenities are great and clean, the staff is nice, and they have tons of activities going on. There are lots of caterpillars, but that's camping for ya.

We made reservations well in advance through the 800 number provided on the website, which apparently goes to a call center. They asked how long our trailer was, I told them and they sent our reservation confirmation via email. Upon arrival, the staff had no notice or communication from the call center regarding our reservation and length of trailer. The only spot open was too small to get our trailer in. When we went into the office two ladies helped us with our refund. One lady in particular went above and beyond the call of customer service . Unfortunately I did not get her name. She appeared to be the manager, blonde hair, and after explaining to her that we were there from AZ needing a place to stay in order to go see my 88 year old mom at Henry Ford Hospital, she searched and found us a wonderful place in Yspilanti that was more convenient to the hospital. I wish I could thank her for what she did. She took a very stressful situation and helped us out by finding a nice place for us to stay. Because of her, I would not hesitate to stay at St. Clair RV Campground.

The staff is awesome and they have activities every weekend. The campsites are great and they even have a laundromat, mini store, arcade, ping pong table, pool table and pool. I highly recommend this campground to anyone, traveling or just getting away.

Very nice camp ground, my kids and husband as well as myself enjoyed it here! I’ll definitely be looking into becoming a member here! Very friendly staff, it’s very quiet and just a peaceful place to ease your mind in front of a campfire!
