Recent improvements have made what I would rated as a two star location more of a four. The improvements have been so drastic I've been impressed with the new managment the owner has put in place.

They have fixed the broken machines, cleaned properly, repainted, fixed holes in the wall, replaced the cruddy, leaking sink with a brand new wash basin, and completely refinished the floor. They've fixed the couple broken tables and installed a new dispenser for those that need detergent and so forth.

Hopefully this continues. I'm an occasional user myself and it's much more pleasant to be in there and noticed a definite increase in people using it when I've gone by.

When in a bind. Most machines are out of order but it is never busy. At least the machines have tags stating they are out of order.

The only place I know of that you can do your laundry and watch the ships go by.

Stunning views and a great cafe nearby to wait. They are still recovering from the hail damage a few weeks back. The top loader washers are clean, but many marked out of order. The front loaders are what I used. The insides were very clean and they did a great job on the spin cycle. My only wish is that I would have liked to be able to put in the fabric softener instead of watching for the rinse cycle.

My biggest disappointment was the floors! Don’t let anything hit the floor or it has to be rewashed. Two things keep this place from being 4 star…. The floor and the number of machines out of order. The big comforter front loader was also out of order and it looks like it’s been that way for a while.

UPDATE: As of Sept 1, 2023 the extra large front loader is back in business. 😊

Have done laundry here several times.
Cons- there are quite a few washers that do not work properly, a lot of the washers are in need of cleaning, some of the dryers do not get hot at all.
Pros- the owner has always offered to reimburse any money spent on faulty machines, the dryers (when working correctly) dry very quickly and thoroughly, there are coin machines available, location is great- shops and boardwalk to walk around while waiting on laundry.

Awesome location! Watch the water and boats while doing laundry. Old machines, not really well maintained or cleaned. But we did get the clothes cleaned.
