Asian City

I LOVE this place! Gadgets and bargains galore. It’s a great hidden gem, that I hope for their sake becomes better known. It rarely has more than 10 people in there at a time. I don’t know why. Maybe people are confused as to the nature of the store. That said, this place has the widest variety of items, mostly from China (before your eye roll, 80% of goods sold in the US are), but other Asian countries as well. Only non-perishable grocery (but some awesome treats), restaurant supply that always hooks me too long with the variety of gadgets that I didn’t know existed, jewelry, wigs, some clothing/shoes, housewares, even high end cosmetics. Check it out, I bet you find a treasure!

*side note, I was SO MAD when I first found this place. I had just been to China 2 years prior. Because I knew I’d likely never go again, I spent $$$ bringing my shopping conquests home, only to see that this place sells most of it. For near the same prices… So, if you’ve been to/are from Asia and missing something specific, bet you’ll find it here.

A great place for Asian specialty items and food. They have a great selection of food and drinks. Everything seems clean and neat. It’s similar to the Chinatown market in SLC but this store has bigger section of homegoods

So glad they decided to get food now.. pretty good selection of food... Very similar to ocean city near I15 & 90th... They've got pretty much everything I would get there as far as food goes... Nobody has a great selection of produce that I've been able to find in Wasatch front but this is about as good as it gets. Besides the food they've got an awesome selection of cookware and stuff for restaurants or feeding large groups of people. My boys live their swords and knives. Plus they've got invited luggage and blankets, an assortment of typical Asian/Buddhist/Hindi figurines of being sizes and quality, wigs/makeup/jewelry, and other random impressed stuff for a great price like a camp-chef style bbq grill (The stick on this random stuff is not consistent). They also have a great selection of sun hats for really good price. Definitely check this place out of you haven't been here.

They have a lot to choose from. The trick is to know more about Asian food. It will take time. But it was fun looking and we bought some food and a couple of kitchen tools. The employees we talked to were really nice to work with.

This place is great to come to for Asian themed gifts, Asian food and house decorations. They also have a nice section for kitchenware. Huge cooking pots and pretty Asian themed bowls.

I really love the variety of food and items they sell. Always a friendly staff and a fun new treat to try! Highly recommend for any grocery or gift shopping.

They have so much great stuff, especially if you need large size cooking tools/pots/pans or have a restaurant. I found everything I was looking for and more! Lots of selections and easy flow. Highly recommend for items and snacks, but be aware it is not a grocery store like some might think.

Wide selection of food items, household products, kitchenwares, clothing and accessories. I love that they have items from different asian countries. The store is very clean and the staff are nice and they care about the items you buy, especially the fragile ones.

This place is awesome. Slightly odd setup, but we'll stocked with a variety of eastern fare.

They do have floor staff who patrol...however, I had a worker approach me with a shopping basket for the items I was holding so I could carry them more comfortably. She was very courteous and polite. I found this, in conjunction with the patrol, to be appreciated.

I thought they had excellent customer service, and excellent products. I will be back.

I live in Nampa, Idaho and found Asain City on a previous visit to to Salt Lake city. I went back this weekend to take advantage of some unique Asain things they have. I bought more than I thought I would as there pricing is fair. I found frozen foods that I can get in the Asian market in Boise. I will go back again to shop there and there employees are friendly and very helpful.

Wow! Cannot say enough about this place. Clean, well lit, and stocked to the rafters with legitimate Asian goods. The best of the best. People were extremely helpful and the prices were very reasonable. A lot of their items are cheaper than what you'll find at the big box stores. Love this store!

They are adding food so now it really has everything Asian: decor, pots, pans, dishes, jewelry, skin care, knives, silk flowers, and clothing.

This place is super cool! It's big and has more than just Asian food. Store is clean, and staff was helpful. Went in to check it out and just pick up a few things for dinner while we were there, left with $90 worth of groceries.
