Olde Main Street Inn

Years ago, I was a pastor in Chadron and also a non traditional student at Chadron State College. I played and sang in a small jazz combo and we did many gigs at the Olde Main Street Inn and my memories of those times are priceless. The atmosphere takes you back in time and the staff was always helpful and charming. I will have to stop by the next time I go to Chadron.

Wow this hotel is quite the experience! Jeanie (owner) is such a wonderful lady! She was a fabulous host and loves to get to know her guests. She can tell you all the history of the place and more. The rooms were insane! The moment you step in the rooms you feel like you've been taken back in time and it was so cool! We had a fantastic time at the old main street in and can't wait to go back! This is a must in chadron and the hospitality that you get with Jeanie is like no other! Highly recommend! And if you like ghosts ask Jeanie about the people who tend to make an appearance at the inn! We will definitely be back!

We booked for the night we arrived from the airport and a second time for the night before we had to leave. So happy to have booked the same place because it was hard to step away in the morning! Jeanne is quite the conversationalist and a master at making everyone feel at home. She has a clear passion in her work and for her hotel. I absolutely loved hearing the history of the place and the opportunity to view some of the suites. I was sold when I learned that every booking comes with a free drink, but truly value the "at home" feel I had while there. She gave great advice about what we should do while in town and traveling to Rapid City, and we are better people from our time with her for sure! COULD NOT have been a memorable experience without her!

I stayed there 4 years ago after having suffered a car accident and needing some repairs that could take a couple of days. I have never forgotten the warm welcome I received after a pretty rough day. The owner, Jeanie, offered me my first drink at the bar on the house! The hotel is old but authentic and the accommodations were comfortable. I hope to go back that way again and would definitely stay here again.

One of the best stays I’ve ever had. The owner is attentive, kind, and accommodating. It feels like you are spending the night in a different time period. Plus points, the owner is taking coronavirus seriously and spacing out rooms 72 hours between stays. Extra plus points, free welcome drink at the bar.

What a wonderful find! The Motel is decorated in some very unique and beautiful antique furnishings. So much history and interesting things to see at the motel. The room was very comfortable and clean. Jeanne the owner is super friendly, helpful, and knows so much interesting history. The location is great. It's walking distance to the restaurants, bars, shops, movie theater, etc. We will definitely go back! It is certainly a one of a kind motel that is a must stay!

Can't say enough good things about this place!! Jeanie makes you feel like you're at home and apart of her family. Her two mascots are wonderful and greet you at the door! Wonderful rooms and it sends you back in time. Definitely recommend it to anyone coming through Chadron or just looking for a place to relax and get out of town.

The Inn is a fantastic step back in time! There is so much history that is lovingly preserved. Owner Jeanne is a gem; caring and so friendly! I could listen to her stories for days! Rooms are clean and well appointed! I will not stay anywhere else in Chadron!

This place is awesome! The night we went, they had a live band playing. They have a pool table. The owner is very friendly, so are the bartenders. I loved when the young man played the piano.

Stayed the first time while working with the Red Cross serving the clients at Pine Ridge.

We have been back several times.

Jeanne is great host and just ask for breakfast Omlet "floor sweeping" where she will just make it up as she checks what is in the kitchen GREAT !

this place was amazing, yes it is an old hotel, but the rooms are awesome and the owners are very very nice. I have stayed in Hiltons that I did not enjoy this much. the bar on the bottom floor is very very friendly, I cannot recommend this enough if you like quaint hotels.

Owner is fabulous, hotel is like going back in time. Beautiful experience. Don't miss the Museum of Fur trading just up the road, plus the rail roundhouse right near the hotel.

Super cool, historic place. We stayed in the General Miles Suite. 1890's decor and we cherished every moment.

The owner is incredibly warm and accommodating. The atmosphere transports you to the 1900s and it is a true experience not to be missed.
