Safeway

I used to really dislike coming to this store but since the new manager took over, Ashley, things have been great. The music in the store is updated and pleasant and all the shelves are fully stocked. Bravo Safeway for putting her in charge.

Not been to the Safeway in chadron Nebraska in a long time but today I hit the golden ticket I found Tillamook ice cream which you don't find in many places. The price is a pretty good and check out was fast The staff was friendly kind and helpful.

I love the amount of specialty items you can get here without the cost being outrageous. Every department has an amazing selection of different items, not just a handful. We drive an hour out of our way to shop here. It's well worth it!

Beautiful park, loved camping there. I love how it sits down by the creek, large picnic areas and play grounds.
I love the fact it has a restroom with showers. For me it worked out fine and had hot water, but for my wife, she refused to use it, because it had spider webs and the showers were not up to par for her... (the water sprays out of the handle and the sides of the shower head) but like I said, I was happy to have a shower and a bathroom to use.
We for sure will use this park again in the future.

Best Safeway Store around as far as helpful employees, cleanliness, store is clean and well taken care of.
Updated to say that it is still a great store & the staff is always helpful.

New store manager is fantastic - it's so good to see in a small town, a business minded person with the boldness to make confident friendly and smart business decisions from early on (empowering department managers, moving and rotating product better, moving customers faster through the checkout process, etc). All of these choices are good for business and good for our community. She is a delight and I'm happy to have her here in Chadron!

Nicely stocked, many varieties to choose from and friendly staff. The fresh baked breads were hit hard before I got there so missed 1 thing I really like but otherwise got all on my list and then some.

The styling is fairly dated, but they have a better selection than Walmart. Walmart's food selection is very basic. For example, Walmart has zero sourdough bread, but Safeway has a couple of brands. Also, Walmart removed their deli, but Safeway still cuts their meat and cheese. If I want something more than generic white bread, I'll go to Safeway. Biggest annoyance is that there are no self checkouts, and there's often a line for the checker.

Pharmacy rocks. Staff is friendly and helpful. Good location. Rewards program saves me a lot of bucks!

Friendly associates good selection of merchandise love their meat but their bakery is always out of the bread and rolls that I like to purchase.

Great employees, always helpful and courteous. Great produce dept. Much better than local Walmart. Great bakery. Well stocked shelves.

Decent place, decent selection. The staff there are great, and they have a 3 person maximum at checkout.

Not a lot of fresh groceries. They sell Nebraska shot glasses and a lot of candles.
