The Ludlam Hotel

The Ludlam is my favorite place to stay in Sea Isle city! Excellent location, right in the heart of restaurants, bars, night life and only 1 small block off the beach. The rooms are very clean and very comfortable (and my back is picky!)

We had a terrific 3-night stay here! The room and bathroom were clean and updated with comfortable beds, a large TV, a mini fridge, and lots of organized closet space. We also loved the large balcony. You can’t beat this location - you are in walking distance to everything and close to the beach. They also provided beach tags which was awesome. The staff was so friendly too. We ate at the bar/grill and the bakery and loved our experiences at both. We‘ll definitely stay here again!

Brand new and PERFECT seaside hotel a BLOCK from the beach! The rooms are roomy, well-decorated and clean. Each one has a balcony. The front desk staff are friendly. There's a coffee shop on the property, as well as a restaurant/bar. If you want to avoid the noise of the bar, ask for a room on the street side. I almost don't want to review it so well because I'd love to keep the Ludlam a secret :-) We'll definitely be back!

Loved staying at the Ludlam. Just a 3-minute walk to the beach and the boardwalk.
The room comes with 2 queen size beds, a bar fridge which was perfect. The hotel made it known that there will be noise because of the location but I didn't have any issues with noise. Great staff, everyone was really helpful in the hotel and the bakery. See you soon!

The Hotel is a complete turn around from what it used to be. Its open and bright everything is brand new and clean. The front desk staff is very welcoming and helpful with anything that was needed. They even let us know if we were staying on the courtyard side. We loved listening to the music right from our own deck. Definitely recommend staying here

Room was brand new and bathroom was clean. Lots of closet/dresser space was a big plus. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Balcony was nice. Not as noisy as I thought it would be. Brought ear plugs just in case, didn’t even need them. Restaurant/bar has great food and atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

Ammmaaaazinngg location !!!! Best food in town from the beach bar and pastries to die for from their Shorebreak cafe . Efficient hotel staff and friendliest General Manager , Mr Robarts 👍🏼 . Will definitely be back next summer .

Booked this beautiful hotel for my mother to enjoy the beach for a few nights. Everyone was kind and generous. We would book again! Thank you again to all of the staff for taking such good care of us!!

Amazing Hotel with friendly staff, upbeat beach bar and phenomenal bakery that you have to stop in to ! Definitely a must if you are in Sea Isle!

Nice relaxing hotel people very friendly

While the hotel has an ideal location to all attractions available. We were left wanting more. We were aware that this hotel is in the process of being remodeled and updated but we were unimpressed with the services offered. We were staying here because they accommodated us and other wedding invitees for the weekend.
When we checked in, we were welcomed by the hotel staff at the front desk and helped us with any questions we had. The appearance was clean and inviting. We arrived a little early, so we enjoyed a few drinks at the beach bar which was awesome. We also went to the Shore Break Café which is on the premises. YOU HAVE TO STOP IN!! The food and coffee choices are amazing! Once we got up to the room and got settled our positive impressions dwindled. Some of the appearances of the hotel were outdated. Such as the elevator, carpets, and the bathrooms. Aside from that everything was in proper working order.
If you are looking for a quite atmosphere look elsewhere. The beach bar is rocking during the nighttime hours. Again, this didn’t bother us as we were out and about enjoying ourselves.
We were asked if we wanted our rooms “cleaned” and we had said yes. Unfortunately, this did not happen. We did not care if our beds were untouched. But because we had people in and out of our room, we had a decent amount of trash which was not taken out.
We have no doubt that once this hotel gets all the wrinkles ironed out it will be a hot spot for tourists and visitors alike. We spent a decent amount of money for a weekend stay and we were left with a dismal first impression. With that said, I wouldn’t mind staying here a year or 2 down the road when they have things fully renovated and updated!
