J.Carnes did an amazing job, not just on the installation of our new roof, but on educating us about our options and making sure they properly scoped our project from the start.

We have had some bad experiences with contractors in the past, so it was important to my wife and I to find a company that we trusted to do the work. We had 5 different companies quote our roofing project, and we looked at everything from asphalt to metal roofs.

J.Carnes did the most thorough walk through before providing a quote. When it came to deciding on colors and options, they were very patient, and walked us through each step, sharing pictures of other jobs and what we could expect.

The day of our project went of without a hitch. The crews showed up on time and got straight to work removing the old roof. The Project Manager checked in with me several times during the day to make sure we were happy, and to provide an update on the job status. When they left, my yard was cleaner than before they started work!

Once we decided to go with J Carnes Shannon was wonderful keeping us up to date with the scheduling of the project. The whole process was very professional. Shannon sent us information about how to prepare for the job including videos detailing the entire project.
The crew were amazing working a twelve and a half hour day to complete the project on time and in one day. They left our yard like they were never there. They even went above and beyond replacing a bathroom exhaust fan vent cover that had been damaged during a wind storm.
I gladly give J Carnes and Son Roofing five stars and highly recommend them for any of ones roofing needs.

We recently had the roof replaced on our house in Eliot, ME. J. Carnes roofing did an excellent job. From first contact and initial appraisal through the completion of the project the people at J. Carnes were excellent. They kept us well informed throughout the process. They completed the project in one day as promised. The work crew was extremely hard working and respectful of our property. The new roof came out great and my yard was pretty much spotless when they finished. The owner, J. Carnes, his wife and his son came by late in the day to make sure that we were happy with the progress, nice touch. Our project manager, Neil was very attentive throughout and followed up before sending the final invoice to make sure we were satisfied. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all a great customer experience.

Working with J. Carnes roofing was a breeze. So professional and efficient. I had a smaller job on my condo balcony. What an amazing job they did! Working with Neil Anastas was effortless and stress free. His communication skills go unmatched, and he is great at his job! I would highly recommend using this company! Had a wonderful experience with J Carnes and Son. Neil did a great job during our initial meeting of explaining the roof replacement process and everything we could expect. Fantastic communication from Christine, Jill, and Shannon about the scheduling of our project through completion.
The team showed up on time and finished our roof and gutter installation same day. They were very kind and respectful. They were also willing to come back out the very next day to add some additional length to one of the gutter downspouts at my request. Fantastic company and would recommend them to anyone in the market for a new roof!

Overall, great experience. Neil walked me through all the details of the project and addressed all of my concerns about quality of materials, valleys, venting, chimney flashing and ice and water shield usage. I met the project foreman. His crew was very organized and professional. Project was on budget. Very happy with the end results and highly recommend J. Carnes & Sons.

J Carnes and Sons just finished the installation of a new roof for my home. Jade, the project manager, clearly explained the procedure in detail and the timeline. On the day of installation, the team doing the work started at7:45 and worked until the job was finished. The team was the hardest working group I have ever seen!! Ken and Chris came by several times during the install and checked in with me to see if I had any questions. Everything went according to plan with no surprises. The roof is beautiful and looks even better that I hoped! Also, the office staff was very easy to work with and helpful. I would highly recommend J. Carnes and Sons to anyone needing a new roof.

J Carnes & Sons did a fabulous job on our roof! The crew was very professional, hard working and did an amazing job cleaning up! Some patio furniture was moved and put back exactly the way it was! We highly recommend this company!

I was unable to be on site when J. Carnes & Son Roofing removed and reattached all roofing at our beach house. They were very professional throughout the entire project. They updated me on progress made along the way. At the completion of the project they sent pictures of the roof including drone shots to show me the work they performed. They were thorough and proud of the work that they did. I would not hesitate to use them again nor would I hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a roofing job.

I searched for a company to replace skylights along with the roof. From my initial call to the end of the project I was impressed. From sales to clean up, J Carnes and Sons Roofing Company is to be commended.

Jade provided a package of materials, insurance information, warranty information, along with a comprehensive quote. Two skylights, roof and gutter replacement (gutters were under Glenn's purview) completed within three days once weather allowed the project to get underway.

Everything looks beautiful. Christine, Jade, Shannon, Glenn, Ken and everyone else involved in the project was polite, answered every question in a timely manner and was a pleasure to work with.

This company clearly has a passion for their trade. The crew replacing the roof was as energetic, hard working and fast as any crew could be!

Outstanding work! A crew arrived to set up one morning and a dumpster arrived shortly after. Crew was fast, clean and efficient. Shortly after the job was complete, the property was clean and the dumpster was gone. Another crew installed new gutters the next day. Project managers kept us informed from the start of the process through completion, providing written documentation and answered all of our questions quickly and efficiently. 5 Star Work All The Way!

A very professional and efficient company from start to finish. The crew gets lots of support from the project managers. Tyler & Ken, answered all my questions promptly. They offered outstanding communication and follow up! Our roof was installed on a sunny day as requested. I was given an explanation about any problems found when the roof was opened up. Carnes Roofing is legendary on the Seacoast for a reason: they get it done on time, and they do it right. Our job involved the re-shingling of various roofs on the house, and installation of skylights and gutters. Based on quotes we got from other companies in the area, Carnes' pricing is definitely competitive. The planning and prep for the project was meticulous and involved multiple visits to the property, and innumerable phone calls and texts. Great people, and always easy to deal with. Our project manager, Neil, was outstanding in thinking through and resolving a fairly complicated set of issues. All communications with him and with Shannon in the office were timely and responsive. Kenny and his crew worked quickly and efficiently, checked in with us a number of times while the project was underway, and did a great job cleaning up the yard--you wouldn't have know they'd been there except, well, everything looked new! Carnes seems to have the whole roofing process down to an art--highly recommended!

Working with Neil as project manager was a very good experience. Excellent communication, thorough initial estimate with inspection of existing conditions. I was adding front porch onto house and J Carnes helped integrate the new roof into the rest of the home and aligned our timeline with theirs. Our old roof was leaking and they adjusted their schedule to accommodate. After the majority of work was complete they were very good about fixing a couple of areas that needed to be addressed. Definitely recommend!

J.Carnes have an amazing team. I am so happy I trusted them to replace my roof. The communication was thorough and efficient. When I had concerns someone was available to talk to me and reassured me. I appreciate that I was shown a photo where the problem was. He took a piece of shingle that was worn out and explained to me what happened. They let me know that there may be additional cost. The whole process was smooth. My new roof looks amazing and now I have peace of mind.
