Famous Boot

I buy boots here when i need a product that I need to actually stand up to the elements. I buy from this store because I know the owner is knowledgeable, doesn’t try to screw around and sell me a product that is junk. Must be why he’s been in business for 20 or 30 years.
I highly recommend the Kamik brand boots , i hope I spelled that right. You will replace the linings before replacing the boots ive got my second pair two years ago and the only reason I replaced them was giving them to my son.
My wife likes the womens selection, from bike boots to woman’s work and cowboy styles.

Miserable experience. I went in looking for workboots. The place was dark and dusty. Immediately I coud tell the geezer who runs the place was in a wretched mood. I asked if he had a boot in my size and he barked that I was wasting his time and as there to get the size right before buying online. He wouldn't get the boots, so I left. the place totally gave me the creeps. Turn and run.

Owner is the rudest man I've ever met. Honestly suprised the business is still open. Wonder what goes on behind the scenes.

This store is not worth rating. The old guy behind the counter was so rude. I asked about a woman's boot, His reply was THIS IS A MANS STORE! not once but twice when I asked him question. There was a woman's boot right near me. I asked if it came in black he finally said you could probably order it on line somewhere, That is why this is a MAN'S STORE. He was the rudest old guy I have ever tried to ask a question to. I'm surprised the boot store is still in business. What a creep!

Owner acts completely unhinged. I called and asked about return policy and was then verbally berated. When I told him I just did not like the boots I purchased he told me that he “works for the police” and hung up on me. Do not give this person any business. Will be telling everyone I can to never walk in here.

I’m only giving a one star review because there’s no option for a negative star.
I have never called a business before to try and spend my hard earned money to be treated so ill by such a rude human being before in my entire life.
I called in looking to help my son locate a particular boot. He already located this boot somewhere else but not in his size.
I called in at almost 11:00 on a Saturday and a man answered. He asked what he could help me with. After hearing what I was looking for he informed me he was not at work (what?) and that he doesn’t have these boots. He then stated that “YOU PEOPLE, NEED to STOP being so picky” and then proceeded to hang up on me as I was still speaking. How is this business still existing? I have never been treated so poorly in my entire life. I think they have lost sight of the fact that without your customers you fail to exist!
I am horrified to say the least. I want to thank you for letting me know prior to my purchase the type of people I would have been supporting prior to making that mistake had I purchased. Thank you

The worst shoe experience ever. Upon walking into store and asking to purchase work boots, the first negative comment from the owner/attendant, "if the ask me for light weight the door is right there". No I want composite toe and something not too hot. Okay, owner/attendant provided two styles and manufacturers, after trying boots on, I asked where the boots were manufactured. Then it got weird, his response "your pants, your shirt, your shoes, the truck you drove are all not made in America. I responded "you can poke fun at it, I am just curious and would prefer to buy local manufactured boots", he then point to the door and said the door is right there. Perfect I left the boots on the counter and walked out. I would have bought the boots just looking for an honest answer. I definitely will never step foot in that store again and don't recommend that experience for anyone else. Plenty of other reputable shoe store for your shoe and boot needs. Good day!

The threatened me told me he would punch me in the face for spreading rumors. When he was the one that told me they stop making the loggers in wheat color.then he said only fagot new Englanders wore that color boot. Stay away from this place.

myself and my friend, both teenage girls were browsing the mens boots. Employee told us we were in the wrong area. We were not allowed to look anywhere else inside that store except for the womens cowboy boots. What a strange and terrible man.

By far the worst experience ive ever had, the owner made very rude and harassing comments to my girlfriend and was not even willing to let us look around. We were there for about 5 minutes until he said “this is all the time I have for you, electricity isn’t free”

If I could leave zero stars, I would. The owner is rude and disrespectful on all counts and I have no idea how he stays in business.

Creepiest experience I have ever had. Went looking for a pair of men's cowboy boots. Walked out feeling like I was in a bad B horror film. Rude Strange. Sucked

The owner answered the door and asked what I was looking for, I told him and he said we don't carry that, suggested an EE that wouldn't fit me, I said I'd like something breathable for summer, he then called me a p****, told me if he was younger he would kick my a** then asked me to leave.

My experience is like all others. Owner is a terrible terrible human. Avoid this place like the plague. Do not support him.

Never EVER go this store! Unless you want to get berated by an angry store owner about not buying your boots from him, or for buying them online. Worst customer service ever. Went in to buy boot laces and left angry and empty handed.

This guy makes his money calling Dave’s Garage in Hampton and having cars towed out of the empty parking lot out front, probably gets a kick back, what a joke, what comes round goes round buddy
