Jefferson's Coffee @ Madison

Friendly baristas. The oatmilk latte was amazing. Also it’s with 3 shots of expresso, just what I need to keep me wired during the Night Shift. They have a variety of pastries: pistachio cookie (which I had and loved), marble cake, pumpkin loaf, coffee cake, macaroons. They also have some cold drinks. There’s indoor and outdoor seating. Also the place looks very clean and the music that was playing was very soothing and not too loud. I think it’s a great place to grab coffee with friends.

There are two things on Jefferson coffee at Madison that have correlations ,
Baristas behaviors and coffee quality.
They are both pretty much similarly amazing.
Now for coffee I would not say the daily coffee that have both medium and dark roast are my first choice since their ground fresh latte or Americanos taste much much better. But they have great choices of milk too. And you can guy round coffee or other drinks from their small refrigerator. Or sit behind one of the three tables and look how snow has changed Hoboken white.

If I have only one complaint , and this has been same since first time came here maybe a few years ago, is that their menu doesn’t have the price , similar to the other location. But you know what they have in common, those cute wood tables. Add a bit of ancient taste and voila it’s Jefferson at Madison, the name says it, doesn’t?

I have seen my share of occasional frustrations with barista when there is one person only working with a seemingly infinite line and takes forever to brew a small cup of coffee, but that also says they care about their customers satisfaction, so I take it on customers who stay for a while to order something simple.
So a five star for me could be a three or lower star for you but hey we all get unlucky sometimes don’t we?

Great coffee, nice atmosphere. Perfect place to relax and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee. I got Flat white. Tastes great. Try this place. Will not regret…

Nice little cafe with coffee ten times better than Starbucks. Home brew is so good and I liked their home made pastries. Staff very kind and helpful (even spoke to me).

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I went here every day since they opened, if you love coffee, this is the place to go to. The cold brew, lattes, and teas are all amazing. The pastries and cookies are all super fresh and very tasty. The baristas and the owners are all very friendly. The decor is very nice plus outdoor seating is great. I can't say enough great things about this place! A morning (and afternoon) ritual. Five stars to have you guys in the neighborhood. Thank you!

Such a friendly staff and a peaceful atmosphere. Incredibly perfect coffee! The atmosphere is really chill and this is a great place to recharge your batteries, awesome hot/ice latte! Really one of the best places for coffee. Prices are reasonable. Over all a nice ambiance & GOOD coffee!!

The best almond croissant ever! Good muffin and the spinach ricotta pastry is soooo good! I’ve tried their food for the first time through To Good to Go and now I’m a regular.

I consider my self a coffee enthusiast so it was very nice to have a taste of such good coffee. Also I advise anyone who comes in to try the Peruvian Coffee. The interior design is very cool too. A fun fact about this place: All coffee is organic !

“Cup of happiness”
This is cozy and nice local place to grab coffee/tea, either sandwich or pastry. The staff are super nice and very friendly. Herbal tea w/honey is my favorite. Also has nice spot for reading and studying! Always my favorite place. Thanks.

The nitro cold brew is good strong stuff!

Their single origin Brazil espresso tasted yummy in our perfectly textured latte. Easily the best coffee we’ve ever bought to get free wi-fi. As a bonus, they offer fresh daily doughnuts from Dough, Brooklyn. Very friendly and helpful baristas.

Absolutely amazing coffee and tea selection, service is so friendly and super knowledgable on all the coffee and tea varieties. Environment is cozy and very welcoming to relax and spend some time just hanging out. Definitely will be back, fantastic experience!

The coffee is great, and the shop is very clean and cute. Staff has been very friendly and responsive to concerns when there was a mix up with business hours. I would recommend Jefferson's to anyone who is in the area!

This is the place to go for freshly roasted home made coffee. True delight for the coffee addicted. Very cozy place and love to go there all the time.

Love the size... Very cozy... Staff is very accommodating and easy to talk to... Drinks are superb and reasonable! The atmosphere Beats Starbucks hands down!

Its a nice inviting small coffee shop..Cappuccino was good..and the pastry was fresh..Would visit whenever Im in town..Overall great place for coffee..Barista was attentive as well! 5 stars!!

I can't decide which location is the best one, the location across from the Hoboken Shoprite or the one on Washington Street also in Hoboken. The owner is a gentleman and a real coffee head, so you'll get amazing coffee and super service.

This is the coffee lover's coffee shop. Hands down best coffee I've had in Hoboken. The Turkish kafetta is something I haven't seen anywhere else and is fantastic.
