very nice park. there are quite a few hiking trails here. there is a damn where they stock the trout every year with good fishing spots. you can put a small boat in some areas but I think rule is no gas engines.

Its a beautiful park in the neighborhood for walk, stroll, trail, picnic, morning or evening hiking. It has such a zen calmness and serene vibe in the park. Birds chirping, butterflies, you feel like just sitting here absorb the nature, admire and meditate. People come here for boating, fishing, hiking. There's is a cute beautiful kids garden, butterfly garden, rain garden, clean green areas around the park. Surely for all seasons. Loved spending few hours here to sit relax quality family time.

I love this park/hiking spot. It’s overall got a 4 mile hiking trail Orange + white+ blue combined. I love it for the body of water it has, interesting twists and turns and little climbs on the trail and perfect boardwalks! If you want to let out some weekday steam for a quick hike amidst nature without traveling too far out, this place is a gift!

This is a lovely park along Davidson's Mill Pond. Nice, well marked trails for hiking in the woods. There's a small boat ramp. Nice flower gardens to check out.

Very well maintained. Lots of benches. Adequate free parking. Worth the trip.

Beautiful park with wide meadows of milkweed and native plants, grassy fields, wooded trails, interesting gardens, a children's garden, and a butterfly enclosure. There is a demonstration rain garden and also a native plant trail. The Children's garden has a sandbox, a fairy house building area, a neat small shed with chalkboard walls and other creative spots for small kids to explore imaginatively.

This is one of the few perks of this area. Since moving here about 2 years ago from north Jersey, this is a place I’ve come to often, especially with my dog. We love all the trails, the hiking, the lake. It’s one of our favorite places. As someone going through a life tsunami due to several family members’ incurable health issues, I often come here for solace and peace. And I often say that this is the only place I feel I can really breathe. As I am selling my house and moving back up north bc this area and I do not agree, this place I will miss tremendously. I try to go weekly. Lots of parking and always friendly people. Very, very well maintained.

The autumn view of the lake is always breathtaking. Check it out now! 10/30/2018

Update:

More pictures taken in a foggy day, 10/22/2020.

The trails are mostly accessible for all except some small trails thru the woods and the one by the lake, which I won’t recommend for people with walking disabilities.

There’s another trail thru the field by the entrance parking lot, where you will get to use the boardwalks in the woods. But use cautions after rain as they turn really very slippery. I slipped and fell once as soon as I stepped on the boardwalk one day. Later I had to mount my steps one by one, sometimes I even had to avoid walking on them.

A park for all seasons, with trails, wooded areas, ponds with turtles and occasional great blue herons. Beautiful gardens to gaze at and a tranquil place to reflect

Why I forget how close this beautiful park is from my home is beyond me. Pretty lake, clear trails, and all around clean. Definitely check it out.

Pretty area and trails to hike. This is the upper end of Farington Lake, small dam and waterfall. Good fishing about the falls and below. Trout stocked water.
One of the few places in the county that you can get a great view of shooting stars.

I was here three times and the first times I only knew about the area around the lake and the path. I did not realize there were a few trails in the back. It is absolutely beautiful and you spend a few hours there.
