Golden Wok

I don’t write a lot of reviews but Golden Wok, as my local Chinese food place, deserves it. They’re prompt and they always get the order right and the food is delicious and consistent. It’s also quick; a 15 or 20 min wait at most. You can’t go wrong!!

Went there for family holiday dinner. Food was absolutely delicious. Portion size were large and such a good value for the price. Dined in use of paper plates and plastic cups were not fancy, but it was absolutely fine with me! Highly recommend!

The chicken on a stick and scallion pancakes are my favorite! The staff is always super friendly. Love this place!

42 years old and I have never had Chinese food of this quality before. It was fantastic. All the other menus are going in the rubbish now! Awesome place. So much food. This fed 3 people for 3 meals.

They are busy because they are the best! In my honest opinion, this is the best Chinese food I’ve had in NJ. They have both American and traditional Chinese options. Really good!!

Get from here weekly. Quality white meat chicken was the big seller for me. Nice staff as well. Surprisingly reasonable prices considering the quality of everything is so good.

Switched to here after our prior place changed owners. Very happy with the taste. We get takeout rather than eating in.

Excellent quality Chinese food. Tried many places over the years none compete up to Golden Woks deliciousness. The wonton soup is the best I've ever had in my life. So much flavor. I always have to get the large container of it. It's so good. Highly recommend!

I’ve been ordering from Golden Wok for over 20 years since they were located on 202 before the roof collapsed on the old building.

This is truly some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. There’s a reason I’ve been ordering from here for 20+ years. Every time I go somewhere else I always compare it to their food and only few come close. The family that owns this business is very kind as well and have always been very nice over the years.

The food from this restaurant arrives exactly within the Time they specify and they make absolutely spectacular food. I've never been disappointed no matter what I order from the menu

Been coming to this business for 25+ years when they were in the 7 eleven complex in Raritan before it burned down! It was passed down to the next generation! Food and establishment has always been great and neat! Great customer service! Place actually uses top quality meat unlike other chinese restaurants. Definitely one of the best. My favorites are Chicken and broccoli, General Tso's, Kung Pao Chicken, Boneless Spare Ribs, and the Scallion Pancakes appetizer.
It was about time they opened the indoor seating area.

This place is a real hidden gem, kind of nondescript appearing from the outside in a strip mall. It's not your typical take out / eat in type of place. The dining room while not very big, is nicely decorated and extremely clean. The staff is very nice and welcoming too. So far I've only done takeout here, and the food has always been very good. I would love to have a sit down meal here sometime.

I was so disappointed when they closed. But it was reasons out of their control. This Chinese place is the best of all in the central NJ area. They remind me of an old Chinese restaurant in Queens NY that I grew up eating as a child, so this place brings back memory to me. I have never had a bad experience here I've done order in and take out time after time and food has been consistent and the quality has been amazing. The lady that always takes my order is very polite and amazing. I love the beef fried rice it's delicious! The crab Rangoon delicious as well as the egg roll. This place is on of th best! Thanks guys and I'm so glad your back in town!!!

Great. The usual go to for fried rice.
They also have a nice spicy Thai basil dish which is definitely worth a try.

Great Chinese food, some of the best BBQ spare ribs around! Kind hosts and hostesses too.

Bear in mind we have always ordered at regular meal hours but the food here is by far the most fresh and clean tasting Chinese I've ever had. Other places often use oil way past it's... er... "prime" and gives me awful heartburn or indigestion. Never from this place, absolutely wonderful food, very well made with care. By far our go to place for Chinese food now. Keep up the great work!

Been coming here since 1998 almost every week. Best Chinese food I ever had. We order off the authentic Chinese menu. Owners and staff are amazing. I recommend the spicy dumplings, pork with rice cakes, and water chicken (or beef).

Golden Wok is my favorite place to get Chinese food in the area! The staff is friendly and the food is always delicious. Prices match what you get, and I’ve always gotten more-than-satisfying portions. Further, the inside seating is great if you want to dine in rather than pick up or order delivery.
