I went here to walk, and explore the terrain for future Fat Bike riding. I thought the trails were primitive, but very nice for mountain bikes, or fat bikes. Since I'd not been here for years, I got turned around pretty easily. Still, I enjoyed the challenge of the trails. There are some ups and downs, roots, rocks, gravel, mud, nice variety. I'm looking forward to going back with my Fatty.

Great park with lots of trails, some fairly wide and level. Lots of cool historical landmarks including a canal lock, remains of a spring water bottling company, and old stone house foundations can be seen along with interpretive signs. Some of the smaller, more winding trails can be a bit confusing and I’m not always sure the trail maps are completely accurate. The trails you Whiskey Island were very muddy when I went there.

We love this place! Lots of easy, well marked trails to walk or ride a bike. Dogs are welcome. Easily wheelchair accessible too. You can walk through beautifully wooded areas or open fields. The bird song is great too.
Highly recommend

Very nice, quiet place with lots of well maintained but still rustic trails. I've never had any issues with mosquitos here which is nice because my daughter can't wear insect repellent. Very kid, dog, bike friendly. I hike here with my children ranging from 3-17. I've hikes with my little ones as young as 1 and we are not extremely outdoorsy people.

A small gem in Phoenix. This is a well maintained area. The trails are marked and easy to see. There are a variety of small trails.
There is plenty of parking. This is a year round place, snow showing in winter and hiking in the summer.

Always well-maintained and taken care of. Of course there's nothing that can be done about mud at certain times of the year but there are always trails that you can find that are dry.
Great for waking, hiking, mountain biking, and taking the dogs off-leash.
Really nice assortment of types of trails from easy to hill to harder.

This is a really great spot with well-kept trails for any to enjoy. Many different lengths for different ability levels, decently marked trails, and good map on the way in. So quiet and peaceful in the wood.

Great place to walk and just be out in nature. Be weary of bringing your dog though unless they're 100% friendly because people have off leash dogs all over the place. I wish I could take my dog but I'm way too afraid of another dog running up on her.

Always love walking the trails. Havent decided if I like the park better in warm or cold weather. They are making progress with the Pump House, which is cool to see.

The trails are well maintained. Now that the weather has finally gotten better the trails are mostly dried out. The website does not currently work that has an online map of the place. There are numerous trails of varying length and conditions. Dog friendly. The usual etiquette applies when you have a dog with you. There are no bathrooms. Most of the trails are marked reasonably well.

The perfect place to hang out with your dog. Parking can get muddy, the trails can be as well. I happily drive 30 minutes to take my dog here. It is wonderful and full of happy people and happy dogs. I try to make it a point to leave this park a little cleaner than I found it to show my appreciation.
Highly recommend year round. In the summer use bug spray. In the winter It can get icy, so make sure you have proper footwear.(spikes, snow shoes, whatever)
