It’s well worth the treck up that wining mountain path. You’ll be well rewarded with beautiful views and a charming farmhouse retreat.
The morning breakfast, hosted by Leam was a highlight of the day.
Friendly and engaging conversation, lots of local tips and colorful antidotes.
And the French toast was easily the finest in all the Appalachian Mountain Range … Georgia to Maine.
This destination is an absolute gem!

Great view, wonderful hosts. The driveway is tricky to navigate. My car got stuck but the host graciously came down to help me out. 22 minutes to Hobart, 10 minutes to Arkville. Close to antiques and vintage shops, which I loved.

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend stay at Highlanders View! Leam was a fabulous host and makes a great breakfast! The room was clean, comfortable and the views were spectacular. Harley the lab was a great addition to our trip. She is a presence on the property along with the goats and chickens. Harley is sweet, calm and enjoyed hanging with us as we walked around the grounds. Thanks again Leam! We will be back.

We had a great escape from the city at the Highland View Bed and Breakfast. We were greeted by a bounding, extremely friendly, lab called Harley. Harley is a very good girl. Not only is she the best welcome comity in the world, she’s also there to protect the other animals. Alright, I’m getting carried away. Let me talk about the place. The view, as you would imagine, is fantastic. The owners are friendly and the complimentary breakfast is wonderful with fresh eggs. Not to mention starting of the day with a conversation with the knowledgeable Leam was great. It was truly a peaceful escape and the best value in the area. Be sure to dip in the hot tub after a long hike.

Cannot express how wonderful our stay was! Leam was super friendly and great to talk to, not to mention cooks a great breakfast (and a big shoutout to Patty for the best french toast I've ever had)! The prices are a steal for the views and accommodations; who needs a tv (though there is a tv in the room) when you have giant windows overlooking a gorgeous valley? Another big shoutout to Leam for a great conversation about sustainability and food systems; his homemade maple syrup is to die for and we definitely couldn't leave without buying some eggs (thanks chickens)! We will be back as soon as we can! Wow! Amazing!

OMG, The owners, the views, the rooms, bon fire pit, pool and hot tub, the homemade breakfast with fresh Eggs, French Toast, Bacon, and of course Orange Juice and Coffee, and the guard dog!! LoL.
We had dinner at Lilly's Steak and Cocktail up the road, be brought back leftover Prime Steak, and since we and the owners were the only ones there the next morning, they rewarmed the steaks and added them to the next morning breakfast, which was extra delish!!!
Worth the stay, worth the outstanding views and privacy (gotta check out the Presidential room)..
We stayed in the Tavern room, had a nice deck area which lead to the hot tub and the pool, an eating and hang out area with a BBQ to cook if you liked.
One evening, we had dinner at the B&B, worth the extra $$ which was charged by the owners.. Food was out of this world, and ALOT of it..
Besides the driveway up to the house (Winter could be rough if you don't have a 4x4 (and owner is about ready to regrade it)), our stay was one of our best!!!
BTW, golfing is fantastic in Stamford (👍👍, one of the first golf courses in NYS) and there's a 9 holer in Roscoe, NY

Great B&B. Got there a little late and the road was too slick for our mini so they picked us up at the bottom of the hill. Room was clean, comfy and warm, hot tub was perfect for a cool winter evening. Breakfast was great, farm fresh eggs, bacon, and french toast with real maple syrup. Will definitely stay again when we're in the area.

Highly recommend this gorgeous, peaceful and quiet b&b in the heart of Catskills. The hosts are very friendly and make awesome fresh country breakfast. Great way to get away from daily life and enjoy the countryside

The loveliest hosts they have the cutest dog that would visit in the morning the breakfast was delicious. There is also a hot tub and wonderful scenery. Ideal for an escape from tedious daily city living. 10/10 would recommend. Trying to come back in the summer.

Wonderful b&b, clean cute rooms, great view, and wonderful hosts. Definitely recommend if you need a place for a near by wedding or just an escape!
