We enjoyed the atmosphere and the selection. However the menu online was slightly different than that in the restaurant as I was interested in trying a couple options that were not available upon arrival. That being said the selection was varied and the meals were above expectations. The dessert selection was decadent. A very solid choice for all.

Wonderful surprise in downtown Albany. Really fabulous food: Broccoli rabe and hummus; short ribs and a special monkfish. All very tasty with great flavors and spices. Very nice ambience. Excellent service.

The restaurant is attached the hotel I'm staying at. And I was too lazy to go anywhere else that's is how it was chosen lol but anywho friendly staff to great ya and take your order. They gave me 15% off for staying at the hotel as well.
Started off with soup and was a sweet potato with curry blend bisque type soup. Interesting blend of flavors in a good way.
Also ordered the Pan Roasted Gulf of Maine Salmon with carrots and brussels sprouts, Farro, Pistou
The salmon was cooker to perception with a crispy side which was excellent.
Would definitely come back and order the salmon and soup. The soup was a special of the day.

So enjoyed my first time here. I will be going back. I say at the bar and enjoyed some nicely crafted cocktails. The wild mushroom medley on toast was phenomenal (a word I have never used in a review before). The grilled octopus was truly some of the best cooked I have had anywhere. The short rib meal was tasty, even though the meat itself a little over done. The beer selection was also nicely eclectic - Hopus by Lefebvre for example as well as a Dupont Saison. Looking forward to a return with friends.

Overall, everything was delicious and our server, Amanda R, was top notch. Great selection of beverages.

Located in the Hampton Inn and Suites, this little bar is pricey but super convenient with excellent and quick service. My go-to drink is a Moscow Mule and it was delicious with just the right amount of lime. The French fries are super good too!

Excellent food, drinks, and wonderful staff. My husband and I both agree that it was the best food we had in a while! We ate the special of the day, the soup of the day, the roasted brussel sprouts and had a yummy appetizer. Love that it was connected to the Hampton inn we stayed at! Highly recommend!!!

The most accommodating restaurant I’ve ever been too. Grilled cheeses and French onion soup were incredible. We came over in Cut-offs after a rock concert across the street, and they told us we were completely welcome. One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had.

In the past four months, we’ve been here three times. All times, we made reservations and were sat right away. All staff is friendly, attentive, and pleasant. Morgan, the server, is awesome. The food runner assistants are very kind. Delivery of food is great. Enough time to have drinks, then app, entry, and dessert. Presentation is attractive and food is yummy and at the desired temperature. Also, they make great drinks. Ours of choice are margarita’s and old fashioned’s.
Apps: chips and blue cheese dip and French onion soup.
Entree: I’m a vegetarian, they are very helpful and accommodating. Stir-fry.
Dessert: All really good

Went as a couple for Valentine's Dinner, every single thing was literally perfect. Our server Stella, recommended an excellent bottle of wine, and was kind, courteous and prompt. All food was excellent! Michelin quality dining in Albany! My Old Fashioned was superb as well! We will be making this an often visited date night and happy hour establishment. 10 out of 5 stars!

always an amazing meal with equally amazing service!!! both dp’s and yono’s are two well-known family-owned restaurants in the area, and for good reason. i’ve been going there regularly over the last two years and it never disappoints. the dumplings, french onion soup, burratta, stir fry noodles, and pasta ryleigh are all my go-tos, if you have room for dessert, try the bananas foster or homemade salted caramel ice cream - you won’t regret it!

My husband took me for my birthday last night and we had an amazing dinner. We split the kobocha hummus which was a first for us, and it was phenomenal! I had the catch of the day (New Hampshire trout) and it was amazing. My husband had the burger dujour and loved every bite. Even during a pandemic, they made my birthday special by jazzing up my dessert. Our waiter was so attentive to us, and extremely friendly. The beer options were plenty, as were the wines. The ambiance of the place was very romantic, definitely a great special occasion type of restaurant! I hope to go back there again sometime!

Celebrated our 33rd wedding anniversary today here and the food was amazing and Anna was excellent and the other staff was very good as well. We enjoyed the pace for the delivery of the food and not being rushed when done. Looking forward to our next dinner.

Been here multiple times. Normal hotel restaurants are a bit generic. This place does it right. Specials, small plates and a Billy Fucillo sized HUGE selection of wine and spirits. The food is first rate, the service is friendly and top notch. The only bad thing is there's too many things I want to order. Highly recommended.

Had the roasted duck breast with seared vegetables: absolutely amazing. The chef did not over season and let the full natural flavor of duck come through. Ordered with avocado egg rolls, which were pretty spectacular too.
Server was extremely attentive and friendly: kept making sure everything was to our liking. Have been here several times, and service never falters. Highly recommend for a nice night out.

The service was great, they were great in accommodating our requests and always very pleasant.
The restaurant is small, so I would recommend not straining them (showing up early/late for a reservation, overstaying on busy days like valentine's etc) and I do recommend weekdays.

But the best by far to me was the food. My plate was cooked to perfection with amazing flavours and textures.
I only had one dish yet, so I cannot vouch for all though I tried my wife's and it was great also but it was just a bite.

I don't usually do reviews. But I think that this is probably the best restaurant in Albany and it has a lot of poor reviews from people that never even tried it or people that don't understand that this is a gem of a restaurant that has to be protected.

I want this place to be successful as a business so that I can go back in many years to come.

If you're staying in the Hampton Inn, you're crazy lucky to have DP and Yono's just downstairs.

The only Medium Rare burger you should have in Albany. Don't sleep on the features or the Yono's menu(ask for one) either which absolutely have no compare in the area. Fine upstate ingredients are what you're paying for and they're 100% worth it.

Always get the cocktail special, but don't be surprised if your whole table ends up either trying to steal yours or ordering rounds.

The somm is excellent. If you don't know what you're looking for, he'll find it. If you do know what you're looking for, he may be prone to talk your ear off!

If you're going before a show or concert, it's a great choice but absolutely be ready to order appetizers, entrees, dessert, and drinks minutes after sitting. They are extremely busy then, so you have to beat the crowd.

Great food, great atmosphere. Nice bar, great wine list, excellent staff. Enjoy an excellent meal for $20-$30. Yono is a great guy and creative chef who has created a wonderful and varied menu. Good pre-concert spot if you're going to The Palace.
