Family Dollar

I live in Tower Grove South and had never been in; I Googled “party supply store” and Family Dollar came up, so I stopped in. They had an ENTIRE AISLE of party supplies! I was so relieved, and everything was so reasonably priced. But the real reason I’m writing this review is because of the outstanding customer service I received when I came in to this store (#10338) on 2/92/24 at 3:49 pm. Both employees behind the register (young Black man with dyed hair and young Black woman with tattoos) were so kind! She greeted * every * single * customer * that came through the doors, and she helped me with the Mylar balloons, expedited my checkout, and was just so kind to every customer that she helped. I also found my favorite candy EVER (chewy Nerds) at a price that was cheaper than I’ve seen them elsewhere. Very impressed and will return.

Everyone is doing a great job! Shelves are stocked throughout store. Even on chips 😊 and cold drinks. Seasonal items on display! This is a updated review. Keep up the great work crew!

First time going to this family dollar. It was also one of the biggest I've been well stocked with a lot of name brand and store brand items. The employees were also helpful and nice.

Best family dollar ever. They have every essential item you could need. It's like a super sized Walgreens but way cheaper. A pair of tweezers won't cost you 22 dollars. Don't ever go to Walgreens, they're straight scammin people. No beer though, but what family dollar does?

This location on S. Grand is spacious and clean! Seems the prices are higher at this location. My $14 didn't go very far! 4 Stars for being clean! 5 stars for customer service! The cashier helped me to decide what to put back. (I was buying food for an at-risk homeless family) the Mom was distraught that stuff had to be put back.

I have to admit a certain amount of bias, because this is "our store"... If either my wife or I don't walk into the store at least once a day, they probably consider calling the police for a Wellness Check on us. That said, I truly believe this is the best Family Dollar can offer a consumer. If you want to shop someplace that regularly keeps their shelves stocked, their wait times short and their stores clean, shop somewhere that pays their employees what they're worth. If, on the other hand, you want a store that has the cheapest possible prices on most things to be less than five minutes from your house (offer void outside city limits), you might as well shop at Family Dollar. But while you're there, try to make the employees' days a little bit better... Most customers don't, and the corporation for which they work is definitely not going to help them.

Items on shelves were a bit disorganized and lots of empty spots on shelves... But the staff were super friendly and helpful and they had specific items I had been looking for and was unable to find elsewhere. It totally made up for the less than perfect stocking.

I have a great experience at Family Dollar that a fact is got some of my private stuff that I like to buy it's a very good place to hope they would never close it's making me wonder why some people say it's not a good story I think it's an excellent store I give it five stars

Love this location!! The guy at the register was AMAZING!! I'm new at using coupons and he was extremely helpful and patient with me. I will definitely be going back and most definitely be recommending this location to my friends and family!!👍👍

The staff was friendly it was a busy time they wete smiling and helpful the security guard walked me out. Ican honestly say I have ignored this store but now !!!! Its my go to place thanks staff and management

I live around the corner from this store. I have been there 4 times and every time has been a pleasure. Helpful and friendly staff. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for an enjoyable shopping experience.

Although my experience started off kind of rough I can say that without a doubt that the staff of management and employees stepped up and did a very professional and courteous job in resolving my issue. You guys have a great team keep up the good work thank you
