Wilderness Park

Lovely scenery, well maintained and quiet place to take a dog or just a peaceful walk.

You walked our doggies on a nice little trail through. Lots of interesting point life. Very comfortable open trails.

The park is fairly east to hike around. Love the map locations so it us hard to get lost in here. Excellent maintained.

NOT TOO MANY PEOPLE AT ALL, DUE TO THE WEIRD LOCATION CAW CAW

Trails are about 3 miles in size. Perfect amount if you ask me, also saw a cute goth girl. That's always a plus caw caw.

Great place for the whole family! Large playground, field, and pavilion. Trails for everyone in any weather and any season! A quiet walk or more of a "hiking" experience can be found in the park! I love to take my dog to run through the field. Be mindful of not post holing in the winter on the groomed trails for skiing & snowshoeing though!

Great trails, nice rolling hills! Solid spot for a run，but a large pavilion and 2 big playgrounds too. Totally would recommend!!

Today My dog, Odin and I hiked at Wilderness Park in Deerfield NY! If you’ve never tried this park, you simply must!! We went here twice today…late AM and early PM… VERY NICE PLACE!! ….In AM we were the only ones there (obvious due to no other cars or footprints)…so peaceful and with the light snow falling…it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!! Very well maintained , marked and groomed trails…
We saw no wildlife except for birds… sorta mad i left my binoculars in my car as there was an odd couple of birds “singing” along the trailway!( I guess I m a bit of a curious birdwatcher)
On our PM walk, there WERE other people there…but we never saw or heard them AT ALL! Such a nice park!! Big and quiet…lots of trails to explore!
We had a wonderful walk and workout!
Many thanks to whomever is responsible for the planning, care and upkeep of this park…JOB WELL DONE!!!

The trails here are well groomed through all the seasons of the year. They are extra wide trails, at least six feet wide, which is certainly good during this time of pandemic where people can walk together but keep their social distancing requirement.

It is a very nice park. My daughter has softball practice there. They also have a playground, nature trail and pavilion with lots of picnic tables.

Get lost in scenic areas. Love it. Couldn't get any better. Great playground for the kids. Covered concrete patio area. Outdoor cooking station. Sports fields. Perfection.

Great park with a little stream. Could use some upkeep, bc there were trees down covering the trail.

If you love looking at pure beauty, that was here before us. Yes! This is an excellent place for relaxation, finding inner peace and simply enjoying the nature surrounding you! 💜💕

Nice place for a walk, also has a kids playground

Great place for kids to go free and relieve some of their energy. Even now in the winter its a great place for them to play in the snow.
