They only had takeout service when I went. Dim sum was good enough, that I would come back again to try out other stuff. Service was good, staff was quite friendly. We had a small conversation, and I'm not even the type to strike up a conversation too. Got their lotus sticky rice, shumai, and tripe. I'll probably try other things out of curiosity. Better to call ahead for pickup.

Absolutely delicious. I had the shrimp rolls, the dim sum dumplings and pan friend noodles with shrimp. Food was hot and fresh when I picked it up. Also the hostess that helped me over the phone was really kind and helpful when solidifying my order.

This is the spot! The husband/wife couple that own it are sweet as can be and their food is made with quality ingredients in house. Have you ever had Sweet and sour chicken made with real chicken and not just batter and grizzle? I have. It was right here. Ocean palace has authentic daily specials and amazing classic dishes. I use to get ocean palace allot when I lived on lower Washington definitely top 5 best Chinese food spots in Albany. They're sesame and general tso chicken combination platters are very good and I love the crab Rangoon I'll definitely be getting some soon because I've missed it for quite some time.

I’ve been looking for a good Chinese restaurant in Albany for years. This is confidently my choice! The prices are great, the owner is kind, the food is fantastic. Brought my friends and they loved it too. Gone are the days of going to terrible and expensive places simply because I wanted Chinese food. They don’t deliver and I’m super lazy but I still drive over because no other place can compare.

Hands down the best Chinese food I've had in Albany. Try the Pork Soup Dumplings! It's humble appearance is a testiment to how serious they take the quality of the food.

Great Chinese food in Albany. This is my new favorite spot specifically boneless spareribs and pork fried rice. They never disappoint with dish. The owners are very polite also. There fried rice is kinda brownish and not the yellow generic rice majority of restaurants serve. I older here a lot.

Amazing amazing amazing food! The best in the capital district hands down! I mean I couldn’t even wait to take a picture of the food.. I got the vegetable lo mein, and bbq spareribs. The lo mein was very fresh, and made with fresh vegetables, while the spare ribs were tender, and delicious! The owners are so sweet, and personable! I love them just for their kindness and respect! I highly recommend!

Can’t go wrong with this spot! Some of the best Chinese in Albany. I got the general tso chicken and plain lo neon and it did not disappoint. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend

They have real Chinese on the menu. Something I’d order in nyc, Brooklyn or queens. Plus they remind me of my gma and gpa.

I’d pick this place over Hong Kong bistro on wolf, northeast Chinese on central or Rain on lark st. Well I always come here over the others. They don’t do delivery! But this is the spot to go if your looking for Chinese. The trip is worth it. Don’t be timid of the area.

Some of the best dim sum I've had in a long time. Highly recommend this restaurant. It's very small and cozy. So there isn't always a place to sit but order take out. It's totally worth it

This is seriously the best Chinese Food in the capital region. I order at least twice a month and I’m never disappointed. Everything is always fresh, hot, and delicious and the staff is always kind! I recommend to anyone who will listen!! Ocean Palace keep doing what you do because you’re amazing!

This is probably the best Chinese food I've ever had. The restaurant is an unassuming little hole in the wall, but it is a hidden treasure. The menu has a lot to choose from, including some items that Americans might find strange, which I consider a mark of authenticity. As the name suggests, there are a lot of seafood options on the menu. This is a fine place to either eat in or take out; the atmosphere is pleasant. For those who eat in, there is a large round table where groups can sit down for dim sum. Dine-in customers also get hot oolong tea, which may be the best hot tea I've ever had in a Chinese restaurant. The fact that this place is open late is also a plus. I recommend Ocean Palace to all my friends who ask what a good Chinese restaurant in Albany is.
